There are very few non fantasy ancient techs out there I know there are PMTs but they aren't quite the time period I'm talking about. Now this is a sign-up thread for a war covering this particular time period. So, put yourself in this situation, the world is in a war that covers the continents, alliances will be forged from nothing and broken in a flash, strong rivalries have a chance to flare without drawing international attention, and new technological breakthroughs seem to herald the next chapter in this never-ending book of war. Soon countries from different continents declare on each other and it seems like war is the only thing we all have in common anymore. How will your country play a role in this violent tale? Will it herald in more and more defensive techs and continue the war, or will it try in vein to be everyone's ally. It's your choice, welcome to the Black Water War.
OOC: This is alternate history but the tech is realistic.

Continent: (Same as RL except Australia is the Predominal Region and is 2x as big as real AU, don't forget in the first few chapters you can only fight countries on the same continent with exceptions regarding the Green Lights.)
Size(Small, Medium, Large, Russia-like): (The bigger you are the worse your economy is which can hurt you in the long run, also the larger you are the more wars you are going to be in)
Starting side: (Black Ravens, Eagles of Unification, The Green Lights, or start alone)
OOC: If you are a Green Lights nation you must be in Asia, as the Green Lights are based on Asian Dominance, if you are a Black Ravens nation you must be in either Africa or Europe. As the Eagles of Unification currently have On the Run status Russia-like nations are not allowed.

Starting Side: The Green Lights
Here's some details on all three sides.
Black Ravens: An authoritative offensive group, this tightly packed brotherhood is well just that a brotherhood. If a nation is in trouble another Black Ravens nation is bound to help you. All leaders take orders from the Grand Master, Veta. Although leaders are allowed to run their nation how they want to, targets and trade actions must be run through Veta first. The Black Ravens have been able to gain the upper hand after a few years of war.
Benefits:Close protection, side starts with upper hand.
Disadvantages: Declarations are slower, harder to leave side unscathed, war-torn(Soldier's morale starts lower)
Difficulty: Good for those newer to NS rp
Eagles of Unification: As a Globalized defensive organization, the EoU has been trying to stop the black ravens from taking over the world for the whole 9 years the war has been going on, however it has fallen back as the Black Ravens have developed new siege technology. However if the mysterious substance called Greek Fire actually works, they may gain the upper hand soon.
Benefits: Freedom of Expression(Scientific breakthroughs happen quicker, easier to leave side), Globalized(You can be from any continent)
Disadvantages: On the run(Large nations have the economy of a russia-like nation, also, russia-like nations are not allowed), war-torn(soldier's morale starts lower)
Difficulty: Good for someone who's been in NS for a year or so.
Green Lights: This offensive side is made up of one race only, Asian. The green lights seek to rule a world of Asians, and only Asians. They have just recently appeared on the world scene and thus have fresh troops who are driven by a fundamentalist and fanatic government. They have very many persuasive political powers, and are heralding technological breakthroughs at every turn. This war-machine may look invincible, however it's want to eliminate every race has put it at war with every nation in the known universe.
Advantages: Fanaticism(Citizens don't become unhappy)
Disadvantages:Racial Unison(All nations start at war with all Green Lights nations)
Difficulty: Good for NS pros who know to create creative answers to problems.
