The Mhoudian Union

Rue de l'mujahedin, Mhoud, Mhoudia
The sight was spectacular; one million soldiers stomped, in in time with bagpipe music, down the road, their AK-47s pointing upwards. many of them were wearing furry hats, the sign of a minority Mhoudian christian, or white and yellow keffiyehs wrapped around the face, the sign of a Jayirie, another Mhoudian minority. none of them, by comparison, wore the thick furry scarf that ethnic Mhoudians wore.
maybe it was a sign of the ethnic misrpresentation that zanski had brought into mhoudia to hold on to power. or, maybe not.
Three Zansk typhoons swooped overhead in formation, the jet clouds dyed blue. TMU was not to be trusted with such tools in case they got into the wrong hands.
The crowd numbered twenty thousand; specially handpicked to make sure no dissidents were present. At 3.30 PM, everyone gathered in the square of the snake, Mhoud's central point, where previous regimes held executions.
The president, Ahmet al-Yahyabadi, stood on his pedestal.
"Today is a great day for Mhoudians. First of all, to announce that all political entities in the island of Gharrakland are allies has been a dream come true. After fifty years of tyrants, I am proud to be Free Mhoudia's first prime minister, and the..."
His words were cut short by the click of a mortar. everyone hit the deck, and the mortar landed in the middle of a group of Jayiries. One of the Typhoons swooped over an adjacent road and with a loud, window-shattering whoomph, dropped a bomb. Gunfire was heard, and TMU's first president was hustled into his helicopter after a rather embarrasing first day.
It was later revealled that the attackers were from the Dar Ul Ummar, a militant islamist group descended from the ancient regime of Mhoudia that Zanski ousted from Mhoud. However, they still control pockets of Mhoud and a large area of Central Mhoudia.

The first article of TMU's constitution is that Mhoudia will be reunited, preferably through peace, but possibly through war.
