But, as I'm pretty certain your interests are limited to Alfegos and Ixania, one of which I'm on previous good terms with (Alfegos), and really would rather not get into a scrap with him purely because I'm on good terms with him. Cazelia and Greal are all we want alongside the disbanding of the Hegemony. Perfectly reasonable, no?

Greal, let me tell you something - a valuable lesson I learnt when I was invaded by the entire Sovereign League as BL: When invaded by an overwhelmingly superior force, your allies will drop you like a hot potato. You're going to get steamrolled, and even if your allies choose to respond, your capital will be home to the World's Largest Blender™ before they can react.

I'm all for last stands, as long as the have a slight chance for victory. But come on, you were facing AMF and a crapload of other powerful nations. Even if all of EVIL had stood beside you, it would have been fairly quick, just a lot more bloody.

Depends on incentives for action or inaction. Mysterious are the way of politics on II, but I generally don't act outside of my area of interest unless I have a reason to do so.

OOC: As much as I appreciate all the OOC chatter and grandstanding, I'd like to resolve this. LS, do you have an AIM through which I could talk to you, leader to leader?

Our incentives are shown by Gres's first post in the IC thread. Naturally, if there's any way we can provide you with an incentive not to act outside of your interests (short of not bothering), then I'm all ears...
