OCC: While that is true, it should be kept in mind my nation has a whole different history not to mention I did make a few things clear. As quoted from my Embassy Thread. "As in all things though, a sense of moderation is expected and it should be keep in mind that our government is only willing to go so far in tolerating your nations idiosyncrasies. Our government doesn't want to hear that one of your drunk staff drove a tank down main street or that your turning your Embassy into a military base, etc. An Embassy/Consulate is a place for peaceful relations between our two nations to take place, that idea should be adhere to at all times."

Besides, I don't think there are many nations that would be willing to mess with an 8 billion plus nation. And even if they did, there's a major Naval Base, Army Base and Air Force Base within 10 to 20 miles of the Embassy City Center[Norfolk, kind of hard to have a tank or aircraft in an office space]. As I said, my nation has a whole different history and outlook and it's arms policy reflect that. Some nations are weird or just paranoid and our government tries it's best to ease relations between us and the various other nation-states. If allowing a tank or two does the trick, perfect. I could go on, but I think that's enough OCC in an IC thread.

OOC: Come on, T&R hasn't been online since July 29th. It's unlikely that he's going to come online again, so...there's really no reason for you to keep relations with him. ICly, however, our nation has no choice but to enforce the treaty, so unless you reconsider there's going to be serious consequences.

OOC: Well, technically its your decision, but 1% is a good rule of thumb. What I'm getting at is that there were military restrictions in the treaty, so having more soldiers than allowed would be breaking another term.

OOC: Yeah...the treaty says "TUG...will maintain a standing army of 300,000 men (logistics included), no more than 25 ships with no submarines or carriers, and 200 planes with no nuclear bombers."

Well if I was not on the school computer I might have the list of things I have.

OOC: I'd much rather avoid a war so here's the deal:

-Make your alliance with T&R void, but allow his embassy to remain
-I'll allow your military to reach 1,000,000 men, 50 ships, and 500 planes

And this whole thing goes away.

OOC:No you will not put a limit to my military you don't have control of my county
unless I calculated wrong I think I have 4.6 million troops and 2.5% of my population.

OOC: I actually beat you in war (along with a coalition of others), so...yeah, I can limit your troops, just like the allies did after WWI. It's to prevent warmongering.

But what if I beat you.

OOC: You didn't beat him, and the chances of beating him and the coalition against you is near impossible, especially with the restrictions placed on your military.

But what if I had an alliance which I do help me.

OOC: We've already seen what happened with that, not many nations will be willing to come to your aid regardless of treaty obligations since you are blatantly attempting to start another war. The reason NATO worked so well is that it was a Defensive pact, not an offensive organization. Nations very rarely commit forces for a unjustified offensive operation.

OOC: TUG, you can't just keep starting wars every time you're dissatisfied. This is exactly what diplomacy is for--if you want to go back to the negotiation table, just say so, don't just leave the agreement.

How about you do not limit my army I won't make any alliances for 100 years
(unless I forget) deal?

Embassy Specs: Embassy should be located on Sho Chin To Dr, and be built to the following specifications. At least three stories, the bottom floor is to be used for official business of the Embassy such as Balls and Meetings. The second floor will be the residence for the Embassy Staff and Military Personel. The third floor will be the residence for the Ambassador, her husband and the members of their Special Security protective unit. The main residence should also include the Ambassador's private office, three spare bedrooms for visitors to the embassy. The staff residence should include enough habitation space for up to 20 people. One main kitchen on the main floor, with dining areas on all three floors.
Special Requests: One member of the Kitchen staff should be from one of the top restaurants in your country and well versed in the local recipes of your great land.
Type of weapons and numbers (no wmd ): Each member of the Special Security Protective Unit will carry with them a 9mm semi-automatic handgun that will be concealed at all times underneath their uniform jacket. The military members will all carry a similar hand gun, as well as 4 men with sniper rifles, 3 men with Pump Action shotguns and the 8 men carrying sub machine guns.
Aerial Vehicles: There will be need for only one helicopter that will be stationed on Embassy land as well as a private jet at the nearest airport.
