"Dicks and helicopters" Felicia joked, "That's what's up". She smiled and yawned slightly, "I just can't seem to sleep, what's that you have there?"

She did get about two hours of sleep before the pain in her ribs started calling her. They craved attention and those pesky meds were getting in the way. Now, they had her full attention.

"Ah," She looked at a few of the files that were under her arms. She shook her head and sighed,
"It's nothing really," She explained, "It's just a few things I've been looking at to try and find HYDRA or it's HQ" She shrugged again, "It's just dead end stuff I'm afraid, but I'm gonna give it to Stark anyway and see what he makes of it all" She sighed, "But I think the first we'll know of HYDRA is when it calls us" She smiled.

"You never answered my question" Alesandra said as two HYDRA guards flanked her. The organization did employ normal humans. Many of them, however; are never truly aware of HYDRA's main objective. Money and the chance at excitement are quite enticing for many people.

"Why are you doing this?" Alesandra asked, "I'm not going to read your mind. I want you to tell me yourself!" she demanded, raising her voice. One of the guards readied a tazer but held back.

"Why am I doing this? What answer do you want, money? Power? For the hell of it? All them would be normal reasons. What if I told you I am doing this for the good of the world?"

Raskov stopped and sat down. To many memories, it was unfair, it was atrocious what had happened to him, he had spent his entire life trying to fit in until he found HYDRA.

"The good of the world?" Alesandra questioned, startled in her reaction. She refused to enter his mind and get to the truth. These were the kind of things that must be said. People think of many different, and often weird things but never act on them or say them aloud. This one, however; demanded an audible confession, "The loss of free will? Our greatest gift?"

SHIELD Central...

"Sadly, that seems like the case. These guys are good. The only reason that we know it was HYDRA at that plant was because they wanted us to know" Felicia surmised. It would make sense. Either they were supremely confident or cocky in their actions. They were not ones to be messed with or underestimate. But she often pondered why they would become so bold all of a sudden, "We can only hope that when they call, we pick up on the first ring"

Beneath Central in the sub-levels. The guards in the cell bloc stood guard over their new prisoner. One of the guards, an older man with a growing gut sat in a chair watching television. Another guard was poseted right outside the cell while a third continued to rove around the bloc.

"Hey Larry, I'm gonna check down at the service entrance" said Frank, a younger guard, newer to the organization.

"Alright" Larry, the older guard said, waving a hand.

Frank lazily walked down the corridors, one hand placed over his holster, whistling a nameless song. The night shift was a boring shift, often he found himself wishing he'd done something different with his life. Of course, every job was important, wether he knew it or not. As he rounded a dark corner he went to grabbed his flashlight and clicked it on.

Suddenly, as the light flickered on he moved down the corridor. This hallway shouldn't be dark. As he contemplated this fact, two massive hands wrapped around his head, one over his mouth, muffling his screams while the other one practically snapped his neck all the way around and gently lowered him to the ground.

"Shhh..." Zemsky said as he looked the man in his horror-stricken eyes as the life faded away. He picked up the body and hid it in the shadows. Jack must be getting lonely in that cell...He grabbed the keys off of the guard's belt and morphed back into the shadows.

Meanwhile...

"He's in" Scarlet smiled, "I guess it's time we made our entrance. Are the LMD's in place?"

"Time to arrival is approximately ten minutes" Bolt replied, glancing at his watch, "And armed to the teeth"

Scarlet flicked back her raven hair and cracked her neck. Everything was going according to plan. The pieces were in place. The pawns on their way, the heavier pieces ready to move. All the while the other side is settled and irgnorant, "Remember, the Twins are our primary objective. Everything else is a bonus"

"The LMD's should take care of the bonuses...except Stark, I want that fucking human to myself" Bolt sneered, full of building anger and anticipation.

"I'm going to make my way to the roof and drop in on SHIELD. I just love being a party crasher" Scarlet broadened her seductive smile and snickered slightly. Then, she made her way to the roof. Bolt picked up a bag and navigated down the stairs and onto the sidewalk. He didn't really stick out, just looked like another punk in a leather jacket and spiked hair. His eyes were dead set on Central as he moved closer and closer. Now it was just a matter of timing...

"Hahahaha!" laughed Jack as he bounced around the cage before being zapped. "How does it feel to be guarding Jack the Ripper?" laughed Jack in a cold bloodly voice.

"Ahhh... sorry Stark I didn't mean to be doing this to you," apoligised Reaper as he checked his belt for a moment. "Ever thought of being Iron Man again?"

"I do miss the adventure, the thrill, the indisputeable fact that I was making a direct difference" Stark replied, "It was an unforgetable feeling. One that I miss from time to time but let's face it-I'm not getting any younger. Sure, I've thought about it but I'm getting a little bit bigger in my age. I doubt I'd fit in the suit again"

He laughed, "Though, I'm sure someone else could pilot it someday. My suit and War Machine's are in the sub-levels of this building."

"Shut up in there!" Shouted a larger guard who rapped his baton against the glass, "Creep!"

"Give it a rest" Larry said, trying to calm his partner, "There's no sense in trying to argue with them. Besides, it just makes your blood pressure go up"

As Larry settled back into his chair and the other guard stepped away from the glass, eyeing up Jack, the started up an idle conversation. Without warning, Zemsky appeared from the shadows. The one guard went for his baton but Zemsky seized him by the face and threw him against the wall. Larry went for the duress button but Zemsky smashed the baton into his temple, forcing him out of the chair and onto the ground.

"You sonofabitch!" The other guard yelled, getting back to his feet. He threw a punch just as Zemsky morphed into the shadows again. So, he hit nothing but air. Red Shadow reappeared and snapped his neck, letting him fall to the ground.

"I'm sure you were getting lonely in there" Zemsky said, pulling the red mask back over his face, "Don't worry, I brought friends" he went over and opened the cell.

"Now, I'm going to go and find the Twins. You go and have some fun" he said and began his way down the opposite corridor.

"Hahahaha!" screamed Jack. "Reaper's death is mine!"

"Sounds interesting but I doubt I could fly..." Reaper sniffed the air as he loaded the pistol and handed it to Stark. "Damn you Jack! I've got something for you brother,"

Reaper turned on the lights as he drew out his samuri swords as Jack appeared between him and Stark.

"Wha...." screamed Jack as Reaper kicked him in the stomach.

"Time I do this," replied Reaper as he pulled out a green slimy creature and forced it down Jack's thoart.

Reaper covered Jack's thoart with his hand before stepping back. He silently watched as Jack splattered and vomitted water onto the floor. His eyes changed colour as he collasped onto his arms and legs. Kingston walked over as he picked up Ripper's head as the violent pain passed on.

"Jack?" whispered Reaper as Jack fell onto his back.

"Where am I?" replied Jack as he looked up.

"He's...he's lost his mind from when he was with Hydra," whispered Reaper. "Where were you a minute ago?"

"I dunno..." muttered Jack as he looked at Stark. "Whose that guy?"

Raskov followed Mastermind, taking in his surroundings, it was a pretty little crack in a rock. It would be cold and dark without the generators. He had stopped outside the sphere. It was the master plan of HYDRA, it was almost done. The fruits of every HYDRA members labor. Two guards stopped him outside the sphere. Raskov smiled as they told him that he could go no further. His mask opened up to his mouth, he slowly said,"Remember, your not stopping me, in one second I could kill you both, I will wait outside."

The guards shuddered, they all knew of raskov's powers, he could make their deaths slow and painful, fast and painful, and if he felt merciful slow and unpainful. He could give them an uncurable virus, a deadly chemical, or even give them cancer. They looked at Raskov again and shifted nervously, their weapons wouldn't do much damage against a man like him. He was right the only thing stopping the man from entering the room was raskov not wanting too.

"Dammit!" Stark yelled. He ran to his phone and dialed the secuity office, "We have a red alert, a prisoner escaped and is in my office...no, he's down. I want people down there in the detention bloc!"

As he set down the reciever. Frost, studied over data in his own office jumped from his seat when he got the call. Within seconds, he called up the secuirty personnel on duty and told them to be on extra guard. The Swift Reaction Team (SRT went on alert and were recalled to Central. He exited his office and made his way to Stark's office which was on the same floor.

"Sir, we have people moving to the detention bloc. The SRT Team is enroute and a general call is being placed over the intercom" Frost reported.

As Felicia and Katie continued to chitchat, the intercom blarred "Attention all personnel. We have a Code II Alert...This is not a drill, report to your departments at once!"

"Damn, what happened now?!" Felicia pondered. She grabbed her clothes and belt and quickly put them on, zipping up and turned to Katie, "Looks like we're needed again"

As Central went on high alert due to the prison break. They prepared to close the main entrance when Bolt appeared in the doorway. He casually walked in and was stopped before the metal detectors by two cautious guards.

"Halt!" One of them ordered, guns drawn, "Show us your hands!"

"With pleasure" Bolt smirked, he raised his hands when suddenly bolts of lighting shot out from them and connected with the guards guns. The metal conducted his electricity and it sent an untold amout of voltage through their bodies. By the time they hit the ground, their bodies were charred and smoking.

"We have an intruder at the main entrance!" Shouted the guard in the security room at the monitors"

As all the commotion began in the building. Sacrlet had made her way to the top of the building and surveyed the area. Off in the distance she heard the sounds of a huey heading towards Central. It didn't matter how many police arrived or SHIELD agents. They didn't stand a chance against real metahumans. She lifted off from the roof and flew higher and higher into the air, forcing past the clouds until she hovered over Central.

"Here we go!" She said as she rocketed downwards, gaining momentum and speed. Her feet were ready to impact the roof as air rushed past her. The building got closer and closer. She closed her eye as her feet impacted the roof. The force caused the whole building to shutter as if it were struck by an earthquake. Her body went through the top five floors, smashing through reinforced steel and concrete, piping, an dother material before finally stopping. Slabs of concrete fell onto her as dust flew everywhere. It was as if they were hit by a missile. She stood up from the pile and looked up to see she'd hit a wtaer main as gallons flushed out above her. She wiped off some dust and stepped from the mess and continued.

"Jack!" shouted Reaper as Jack was starting to mutate.

Four tentacles grew out of his back as Reaper took the pistol and loaded it with napalm bullets. His eyes darted across the room as he picked up Ripper and handed him his bayonets.

"Stark, make sure the Twins are safe, I'll take Ripper and see whose attacking," shouted Reaper as Reaper and Ripper teleported out of the room.

They appeared later further into the building as Ripper picked himself up.

"Whose coming?" asked Jack.

"These people killed our parents," explained Reaper. "I'm your brother and we've being sent by our commanders to intercept them and bring them down!"

Jack nodded his head as they raced through the hallways.

Red Shadow morhped and sleaked across the floor from shadow to shadow as red alarm lights spun overhead. He was getting closer. He paused as people ran past him, darting down the corridors. He finally made his way to the entrance to Psi Ops which was closed by a reinforced door. So, he simply followede the shadows around and up into the air duct. There were lasers in the duct but seeing how he moved in the shadows, he didn't trip them.

Inside the main department he returned to normal. There was no one inside. They were overconfident in their portection system. He walked around, a dream fullfilled. He was finally inside the nerve center of SHIELD. Of course, he couldn't afford to lullygag and take pictures. He stepped up to the door to the Twins room. Before he walked in. He placed a small chip into the back of his neck. This would prevent any tampering with his mind. Then, he kicked the door open to see Jade with the Twins. He produced a knife and threw it into her chest.

She doubled back and crumpled to the ground as the Twins screamed, pleadeing with him not to hurt her anymore. He simply placed a finger infront of his lips, "Shhh" he uttered, "Everything's gonna be alright"...

Stark rushed down the hallways as Frost tried to keep up, "How the hell did they manage to do this?! How did Ripper get out of his cell?!"

"They found the three guards down their dead"

"We're under attack!" Stark barked at Frost, "They've infiltrated our entire complex. I want all teams and agents to counter these bastards and kill them!"

"Yes sir!" Frost said as he moved ahead of Stark, "We're sending a team down to Psi Ops now"

"Free will is over rated Alesandra. Look at the world free will has created - war, hunger, disease, poverty, crime and hatred. I will bring peace to this world. Once I am succesful all people will be truly equal, and everything will be so much better."

Ripper and Reaper ran through the corridor as they approach a team from Hydra.

"Shhh...." smiled Reaper as he pulled out his two longswords. "Get their attention with a laughter while I flank them and take them on," whispered Reaper as he went left.

"Hahahaha!" Laughed Ripper in an insane laughter. "Hey guys! I'm back!"

"Who are you to play God?!" Alesandra demanded. Suddenly, her mouth dropped in horror. She could sense the Twins. They shared alot when they first connected with her several months ago. They were such sweet, innocent children being used for what some would call a higher purpose but all she saw were two children whon deserved a chance at being normal.

"You monster!" she shouted, crying "Your going to use them as well!"

She tried to lunge at Mastermind but two guards pulled her back, restraining her as she fought like a woman possessed.

Scarlet navigated through the corridors until Gunther came into full frame. He cracked his knuckles and Scarlet simply smiled. They ran head on into eachother. Gunther got out the first punch which missed and broke through the wall. She ducked down and jabbed him in the gut. Gunther was a metahuman as well, ordained with superstrength.

"Thought you were the only one?" he asked then smashed his head into her face. The two of them battled through the hallway, smashing through walls. She picked up a desk and tossed it at him but Gunther caught it, balancing it in his arms. The, another desk smashed into him, reeling backwards. She lunged at him and they continued their fight.

Down in the lobby, the armed guards fired and fired but Bolt electrified himself and zapped into the circuits. He knocked out the mainframe, basking the whole building in darkness as the emergency lights came on.

Overhead, the huey hovered overhead and six IMD's rappeled from the huey. They had reinforced frames and armed to the teeth and dropped into the hole. Gunfights raged in the hallways as their superior abilities and strength prevailed. Frost piereced one through the head with a highly sharp piece of ice he produced, trying to protect Stark.

Felicia prooduced her staff which broke off into two pieces, one in each hand. She manuvered down the hallway and stopped when an IMD faced her. It charged but thanks to her agility, she dodged it and began attacking with her weapon. She hit hard and fast but had little affect. The IMD came closer and shot a bea, from it's laser arm which almost sliced her in half.

She dodged and rolled out of the way and grabbed a small explosive device which looked like amarble. She flicked it at the IMD and the explosion knocked it to the ground. It struggled back up as she came at it again.

"Who are you to play God?!" Alesandra demanded. Suddenly, her mouth dropped in horror. She could sense the Twins. They shared alot when they first connected with her several months ago. They were such sweet, innocent children being used for what some would call a higher purpose but all she saw were two children whon deserved a chance at being normal.

"Who gave God the right to play God? No one, he was powefull and did what he thought best. So will I. Perhaps I am wrong, perhaps I am right. Only the future will tell. Never the less you cannot stop me - no one can now. And I have tired of this conversation. Guards, take her to one of the holding chambers." As the Guards pulled her away he turned for one final comment -

"As for the Twins Alesandra, am I any worse than SHIELD? Do you think they chose the life Stark has planned for them?"

The words rung true in her mind. What right did SHIELD have to use these two children. But what right did he as well. She tried to think of something to say but no words came out as the two guards escorted her to a holding chamber. They threw her inside and slammed the door shut, locking it.

There she was, alone once more. There seems to be nothing she could do to stop any of this. The Twins were already in the hands of the man she saw in the Vatican. Her mind could read across continents. SHIELD was being picked to peices.

"I wish there was something..."

Zemsky took the children into the shadows, he sedated them and now they were quietly slumbering. They were light to him and easy to carry. While his associates destracted SHIELD, he'd make an easy escape. This was almost too easy in his mind. SHIELD caught with their pants down and now they were going to pay the price.

I have the Twins, Zemsky said to himself. He knew Mastermind was playing close attention to the operation, even from Siberia he knew he could read his mind.

"Damnit!" Katie pulled a pistol from it's holster and ran through the corridors with Felicia in tow. What was happening? Where was everyone? Where the hell was securty more than anything? Where they all at home?

She knew she could go to Stark and protect him, but then he would have enough protection and these was one group that had no protection at all from an attack. They said it was inpeneterable but she knew that wasn't the case, there would be a way in, as an assassin that was something she had learned with ease. There's always another way in.

She turned a corner in time to see what she feared all along, there was someone with the Twins. They were not struggling, probably sedated, but she still knew what she had to do, the man was running towards her and raised her pistol
"You!" She called to the man, not recognising him, "Drop the twins!" She steadied herself for a shot, she did not wanf to fire but if need be, she would shoot to kill. If she had to.

Only if she had to...

Even from all the way in Siberia Mastermind was watching every aspect of the operation in New York. Sensing the danger Zemsky was in he began assaulting the minds of the SHIELD agents. Senseing a weakness in one of the two he exploited it, worming his way into her subconcious. Having gianed a foothold he began trying to exert influence on her, slowly pushing deeper into her mind.

Do not fire on the man. He is here to help. He is protecting the twins. Shoot your partner. She is a traitor. It is what Tnoy would want you too do. Do it. Do it now!

"I'm afraid I don't have the time" Zemsky replied, calmly. He turned his head with the twins still in his arms, "I have a world to control" he simply sunk into the shadows and disappeared.

"Fuck!" Felicia exclaimed, "That might have been Ivan Zemsky. Se have to get to the lobby. These cyborg things are everywhere!"

The one she had just dispatched crawled, claws digging into the floor, scrapping along. She turned to it and shoved the staff into it's head, sparks flew and it's eyes finally flickered off.

Security guards continued to bring fire against the IMD's but were losing ground. They fell back from the lobby and up the stairs. Bolt reappeared and sparks flew all around him as he blasted one guard after another.

"Ha! he scoffed, "Is that all you've got? Is this SHIELD's finest?!" he called out, challenging anyone to dare to stop him.

As the battle raged below, Scarlet and Gunther continued to fight, forcing through the gound and to the next floor below. She straddled him and pounded her fists into his face. He grabbed a slab of concrete and smashed it into her.

"Damn!" Katie fired at the wall but no good,he had gone.
She glanced from side to side, "Time for the lobby", she agreed with Felicia and they moved quickly up to where the battle was taking place. Katoe was still only armed with a handgun but she was also deadly in the martial arts and so her body doubled as a weapon when she needed it.

One such time was now, one of the IMD's appeared directly in front of her and tried to attack her. The ex-Assassin, gracefully and quickly caught his hand and with a single sweep kick, knocked him from his feet. Two bullets to the head finished him off as they moved.

"Stark!" Katie called the Commander over the radio, "Zemsky's here, he's got the Twins, I think Jade is dead" She said with a heavy sigh as she dropped a magazine from her pistol and inserted a fresh one in instead.

"Ha! he scoffed, "Is that all you've got? Is this SHIELD's finest?!" he called out, challenging anyone to dare to stop him.

Jack and Reaper appeared around the next corner as they listened to those words being called out.

"Ohh...have you had a chance to play with us?" asked Reaper.

"We're just and odd pair to play with," smiled Ripper.

Hawk had been tracking the Hydra Operatives for days now. First following their tracks to Siberiua with the help of some of his underworld contacts and the flight loctation and time he'd seen that Hazmat suited guy leave on. He'd then watched as other members moved to newyork and now totally confused followed them as well and he'd apparently followed them straight into a fire fight. The entrance to what he was told was the SHIELD building was a mess and from the sounds of it there was a fire fight going on inside. FineThought Hawk I guess its time to pick a side and I really didn't like that HAZMAT jerk so here goes. He moved in through the front entrance slowly with both long daggers drawn and glowing an odd white color.

Scarlet stepped out from the rubble. Beneath, lie Gunther, beaten down and unable to get back up. He wasn't a metahuman, he simply was one of the last people to be injected with the super soldier serum. Though it allowed him to keep up, he still couldn't pace an actual metahuman.

"Bolt, it's time to stop playing games with them" She called.

"No!" Bolt shouted, heated in the moment of a fight, "I'm not thru yet!"

Scarlet simply rolled her eye and made her way across the balcony. Bullets blasted holes through walls around her but not a single shot could injure her. As she made her way through the battle she happened upon two females.

"Ladies" Scarlet smiled, "I think we need some girl talk"

"Fuck!" Felicia exclaimed, she darted towards Scarlet who threw a punch but was extremely slower than Felicia who ducked down and attempted a kick into her side. It only hurt her leg as she scampered out of the way. More miniature explosives were thrown and detonated in her face but to little effect.

Meanwhile building opposite of SHIELD

'Seems like an explosion has occured,' the figure thought to himself as he laid down his sniper rifle on the pavement. 'At least Hydra Agents are around to be killed,'

Inside SHILED Central

Reaper looked around as the pair fired a round into the roof.

"Anyone out there?" whispered Reaper as the pair went around the corner.

"Sure we do this?" whisper Ripper.

"We're the bait to draw them out brother, this is how its done," replied Reaper. 'Where are the other SHIELD members?' Reaper thought to himself.

Katie ducked of the way as Felicia leapt past her to continue the batte. Katie decided not to bother with the hand to hand combat and instead focused on calmly picking off Agent after agent with her pistol, calmly taking aim and firing, always aiming for the shoulder or the leg. Katie Hunter no longer killed unless it was necessary. She slammed another round into her pistol and fired again and again. She would have preferred something bigger from the armoury but a small P99 would do fine until she ran out of ammunition, then the real fun would begin.

Felicia was ahead of her, more SHIELD Agents were taking the fight to their attackers and gunfights raged all over the building. She had no idea where the other Metahumans were or even where the rest of the Operatives where. The world had dissolved into her own little battle, calmly picking off man after man who attempted to enter the fray.

Then she heard scuffling behind her. She turned, expecting to see more SHIELD Agents but instead was confronted with two HYDRA attackers. Katie was taken by surprise and tried to raise her gun but she was too slow. The two men fired a round each before jumping over her and continuing into the lobby itself.

One shot hit the Irishwoman in the shoulder, throwing the gun from her grasp, it clattered across the floor and landed a distance away. The second hit her just above the thigh and the force of it's impact spun her in a half circle before she hit the ground. She landed hard onto her stomach, disbelieving the pain that was running through her entire body. She had been shot. It was the first time in all her years that she had been shot and she could not believe the pain she was in. She tried to get up but found her injured arm was not responding to commands. It felt like her entire body was on fire, as she rolled over and almost blacked out, whimpering desperately.

"Jack! Go outside and see if you can find their transportation and take it out of action!" shouted Reaper as he ventured through the hallways.

"See you topside!" replied Jack as he started for the front of the complex.

Reaper pulled out his pistol in his left hand and his samuri sword in his right and ventured through the hallways. He killed the odd Hydra Agent from time to time as he came across a body lying on the floor.

"Hey..." whispered Reaper as he touched the head for a moment and tried to find a pulse. "Can you hear me?"

Raskov waited for Mastermind to come out. Finally when he came out,"Mastermind, can we talk?"

"Yes Raskov, what do you want?"

"we need the twins to accomplish this mission right? What will happen to the psychics after we finish are mission?"

"What do you mean after we've finished? The machine will not be disasembled. If it is then what happens if we need to send out new orders, or a new generation is born? The Telepaths will be put into drug induced commas and aranged inside the chamber. With their brains inactive I can directly use their physic potential to strengthen my own powers. We will keep them alive using a mixture of drugs, permantly leaving them on drips. It's all very simple really."

"And what will become of us? The rest of Hydra. You and Zemsky would hold all the power."

In Raskov's mind was a swirl of confusion. In his mind he saw the holocaust all over again. His fear, his hate, his sadness, it was easily detectable to even a low level psychic. He feared betrayal, he hated the world, his sadness extended to the depth of humanity.

"Don't be ridiculous. We will build a better world, one were no one has to be afraid, or go hungry. In one fell swoop we can wipe out war, famine, crime, racism and more - everything wrong with the world will go in one fell swoop."

Raskov had faced all of these at one point in his life. He felt a little better, his mind a little at ease. "but who will watch the watchmen?" Raskov looked at the ground. "Why do you fight Mastermind?"

I signed up. Im Shotgun Hiroshima, and have tried to joint twice already but failed.

OOC:just insert yourself at the base or even say your in America helping fight the S.H.I.E.L.D as one of the HYDRA agents. If you want to continue this lets do it in the OOC thread.

Jack suddenly appeared as he came over to Mastermind. His mind suddenly flickered as his old self came back to his mind. He pushed it aside as he raised his bayonet at them for a moment before putting it down.

"Hello Mastermind," smiled Jack.

OOC: You can kill Jack by the way.

"Good afternoon. Arn't you meant to be in New York?"

"I teleported myself here. I'm happy you didn't leave me behind," replied Jack.

"What do you mean?

"Because I really wanted to do this!" stated Jack as he lept upwards, teleported to the front of Mastermind and left his guard open as he raised his bayonets to strike down Mastermind.

Mastermind smiled as Jack took his leep at him. Simply reaching out his arm slowly he grasped him in aTelekentic crip, before hurling him across the room into a wall.

"You relly think you can kill me?"

Jack looked down as he noticed he was thrown into something sharp which went straight through his stomach. He gripped his bayonets as he looked up and starred Mastermind straight in the face.

"...The Black....Cloaked....Figure...is coming for you...Master...mind..." muttered Jack as blood came from his mouth as he teleported himself back to SHIELD Central.

Jack looked up as the object was the only thing keeping himself alive. He kept it inside of him as he found himself somewhere in the hallways with someone coming towards him.

"Black Cloak Figure..." muttered Jack as he took his blood and spelled 'Reaper' before he finally died.

His hands opened up as the object fell from its position as Jack's body was bathed in a poll of blood. His eyes closed gently as the same person was coming closer to him. No-one needed to know the person was dead...just, a simple body lying in a pool of blood and over a thousand kilometres from his homeland Australia.

Raskov looked as Jack and Mastermind had fought, even though it was brief, Raskov looked down. "What a fool he was. Attacking from the front and telling us his purpose. I didn't like him anyway."

"No!" Felicia cried as she saw Katie crumple to the ground. Gunfire, explosions, and screaming filled the air. Death rose from all around. She limped up to her feet to see the female metahuman began walking towards her direction. What to do? I can't stop her. Doubt swelled through her mind, things were getting too risky. This isn't what she signed up for. This was something in a whole different league.

The pain in her ribs was fierce but adrenaline pumped harder through her veins and forced the body to endure. She produced her grapple gun and aimed it at the metahuman.

"Hey!!" Felicia shouted. Scarlet turned her head just as Felicia fired the grapple gun and it shot out, the grapple spun around Scarlet's neck. Now! Felicia lept over the balcony into mid air. The open area of the lobby was vast and about ten floors were open. She dove down and the line taut as Scarlet grabbed the coil but the force took her to the railing as Felicia braced for the end of the line. It came, snapping tight. The force jerked Scarlet off the railing and plummeted to the lobby floor, impacting the floor hard, breaking up the marble.

Felicia clung to a railing as Scarlet dropped past her. The pain in the ribs was now unbearable but now was not the time for whinning. She cralwed back over the edge and sat for a moment. Katie! She needs help! Felicia shot back up and dashed up the stairs all the way back to Katie and saw her lying on the ground. She tore a piece of cloth and tried to stop the bleeding.

"Wake up Katie!" Felicia pleaded. She slapped her across the face, not too hard but enough to hopefully jar her back awake.

Frost guarded Stark in one of the levels as he coordinated getting assets moved to Central and trying to find the Twins. As they stood there the lights dimmed again. The phone shorted out and Bolt appeared.

"Stark!" Bolt shouted, fists charged. Frost stepped in front of Stark and blasted ice towards Bolt who dodged them and fired a current of electricity that impacted Frost and threw him against the wall.

"Come and get me, you bastard!" Stark dared and he drew a pistol from his deska nd began firing. Without his Iron Man suit, Stark was nothing more than a normal, aging man. But, he had a fiery spirit.

A bolt of lightning shot out from Bolt's fist and it streamed into Stark's arc reactor in his chest. He dropped the pistol and fell to his knees, the life draining from his body.

"Oh, you still have that in your chest" Bolt teased, "Consider yourself retired" the stream intensified and Stark slumped over onto the ground...dead

Meanwhile...

Zemsky boarded a boat that was at the docks and hid the Twins below. More HYDRA operatives were already on board. The mission was a complete success.

"Everyone pull back...we have what we came for" he said into his commlink.

Bolt smiled, having brought down the legendary Iron Man with such ease. This was a great day not only for him but for HYDRA. He laughed aloud and left the building. Scarlet shook off the debris and unwrapped the grapple from her neck which left a nasty mark. She wouldn't let something like this go unpunished but orders were orders and she flew out of the building...

Reaper found his brother on the floor dead his eyes darted around as another man entered the hallway. He stroked Jack's face as he watched the figure come towards him.

"Hawkeye, Jack is dead," whispered Reaper as he stood up.

"He died fighting for justice," replied Hawkeye as he dropped his high-powered sniper rifle on the floor.

Reaper looked at Hawkeye as he realised something was wrong. He focused his mind on Stark and teleported himself and Hawkeye to Stark's office. They appeared in the office as Hawkeye's hand let go of his rifle.

"Stark?" shouted Reaper as he slapped Tony's face a little. "Stark! They're gone now,"

Hawk watched as A man shot an electric current into the chest of another and the second man went down. Alright enoughs enough Thought hawk to himself. And as the Man began to leave the building, Hawk's bow materialized in his hands and three arrows went downrange towards the mans exposed back.

Katie turned over, tears leaking down her face. She had never been in this much pain in her life. It felt like her body was just a sheet of fire and she was being stabbed through it. It was painful to breath, painful to talk and painful to even look up at Felicia. She was terrified, she thought she was about to die. How ironic that it was the Daughter of the last man she had killed in cold blood that was here to see it. She tried to talk and instead coughed up blood. She could say nothing, do nothing but sit and try to survive, try to keep her ruined systems running until help arrived.

The damage was catastrophic. The attack had left over a dozen agents dead. All the security systems were down. All levels were compromised. Everything that SHIELD was, it's esteemed level as an institution of international security and stability was torn down in a single night. Tony Stark was dead, the enigmatic Director of SHIELD and former hero himself. Damage control both to the building and their image would be impossible. Though the main concern right now was saving those gravely injured and setting up security, it was in everyone's mind that this may very well be the end of the organization.

NYPD units set a perimiter around the building. High level officals were called, the President was woken up in Washington D.C., the Council members for SHIELD were recalled. All agents abraod were set on high alert. HYDRA struck at their heart and successfully ripped it out. It was all easy...perhaps too easy.

Frost coordinated damage control as medical teams entered the building to tend to the wounded. Paramedics rushed to Katie and put her on a stretcher. All the while, Felicia rushed alongside as they checked her vitals, got out the oxygen, and checked her wounds.

"Don't you die!" Felicia demanded as the paramedics pleaded with her to give them room. Lights flashed outside as helicopters swooped overhead. SWAT teams entered the building and ensure there were no more hostiles inside. The political fallout from this attack was imeasureable.

"She'll be alright" Frost told Felicia, grabbing her arm, "Just let them do their job"

"H-How did this happen?!" Felicia demanded an answer, "They just came in here, killing and destroying."

"They got the Twins as well" Frost's face was devoid of emotion, as usual. He was impossible to read. She didn't enjoy it when she couldn;t read anyone. He must be good at poker.

"What happens now?"

"I don't know" Frost admitted, "This is a major breach of security. Lives lost, property destroyed. We were compromised. At every level we were compromised"

Mastermind smiled, he knew H.Y.D.R.A was victorious from the what Zemsky had thought.

Raskov knew exactly what had happened by the way mastermind. H.Y.D.R.A had been victorious. Raskov sighed, not in sadness or happiness but just plain old indifference and walked away.
