(This is my intro into the FT category of Rp's, just a breif overview of how they began FT and sort of a first contact thread)

It all started with the development of Mass accellerator Cannons...
Once that was done a scientist by the name of Yarn Hulsiv proposed that using a modified MAC Cannon and a Nuclear Pulse Propulsion System in a spacecraft could reduce the amount of time from billions of light years to a matter of months or weeks with current MAC Cannon Abilities. This was brought to the attention of the ISP or The International Space Program. The ISP launched Project Orion. Within 3 years they were already to launch the Spacecraft usuing the Modified MAC Cannon, Every news network in the world was reporting it! The countdown started and off went the spacecraft, which carried 18 civillians who would risk their lives for the project's success, enough food and water to last them 3 decades, and Tools and Materials to establish a space station in the nearest Solar System: Ultinan Oxiuma. within the decade they already had established the modules for power, labs, and the living quarters of the station.

Many other projects were started such as a new SFIL Program and a CEP or Colonozation of Extrasolar Planets.

Once Project Orion was classfied as a success scientists began to begin research on Spacecraft with a engine based off MAC technology.

(I dont care what you think but if you want to say something than do so also yeah im not done)

OOC: I would drop the whole type 1 and type 2 thing since that technically means "I control the weather on my world and I can manipulate my solar system so it does whatever I want it to!" And is this a first contact thread or something? Just so I'm sure...

Nearly 14 Years afterwards...

The ISP built another Mac cannon and pulled a "Orion" as most people called it. When the Ship slowed into the system they were in they had an eerie feeling. Scans were unable to pickup anything. The spacecraft approached a Rahgo like planet with the intention of a space station.

A blip appeared on the screen of a Greywatch oupost in the region. "Well hello." Said a tactical officer in the outpost's commander center. "Sir! New contact, unknown." The commander, a Kiixori, stepped over to the tactical officer before speaking to the coms officer on the other side of the command center. Being an insectoid, its speech was actually more of a loud and fast series of clicks, but the men here understood it well. "Right away sir." Said the comms officer and a message was put through.

<Hail, Unidentified vessel. You have crossed into a Greywatch monitored system, please state purpose...>

The Ganoxian Destroyer Phoenix Scramble floated slowly through the vastness that is space. As part of the 117th Exploration Fleet, its mission was to explore the deeper regions of space to find planets suitable for colonization and the possible encounter with new sentient races to conduct first contact diplomacy. Its captain, Michel Orlas, was sitting comfortable looking at her TacDis for any information. So far nothing, nothing at all. Nothing but space debris and the occasional junk. Suddenly she noticed something, a faint signal approaching the ship, "Commander what is that coming towards us?" she asked.

Her executive officer walked over from the scanner bays and gave his report, "It would seem that its a transport of some sort. Should we make contact or let it go?"

"Should we make contact...of course we have been out here for several months now without anything coming up. I'll take my chances at this. Contact them and send a message."

This is Captain Michel Orlas of the Ganoxian Alliance Destroyer Pheonix Scramble. We cannot confirm the identification of your craft and would assume that you are new to this part of the galaxy. We wish to make a more formal contact with you. Please advise.

"Sir, a a message in our same encryption format!" Spoke a scientist at his station. The Older Scientist walked up to it, "Send them a message explaining why we are here"

< This is the Spacecraft Yuarn 2, this is a first contact repeat first contact, we had intentions of exploring this system, we mean no harm >

They also sent a message to the other ship

< We have no idea what to do, we didnt expect any sentient life in this galaxy >

"Ma'am we are receiving a message from the unknown ship." a tech reported from the communications bay.

"Put it on speaker."

"Yes ma'am."

After listening to the message, Michel sat back in her chair and began playing with her ponytail, "I see...they seem to be new at this. No matter." she keyed in the comms.

"Well we can start by introducing ourselves. I guess its your turn for introductions."

"Sir, new contact, different signature than the other one." Said the tactical officer. "Aslo, we got a response from the first." Added the comms officer. The Kiixori commander turned before commanding more messages to be sent.

< This is the Spacecraft Yuarn 2, this is a first contact repeat first contact, we had intentions of exploring this system, we mean no harm >

<Ah, well you are free to explore, Greywatch has found three habitable planets and we've not yet made a full claim to this region. We are only monitoring it.>

Then a message was sent to the other ship.

<Un-indentified craft, you are in Greywatch monitored space. Please respond.>

The men looked at each other and began to send their message

< Thank you for allowing us to explore this region we will do as we did and hope we do not interfere with anything >

< This ship is the Yaurn 2, Named after one of the men who designed the MAC Drive System, We entered this system to explore for planets to perhaps colonize because we have exhausted our homeworld's resources. We could send you coordinates to our nearest space station in Ultima Oxiuma if you wish for more formal communications >

"Another message ma'am!" the same tech reported.

"Looks we hit the jackpot here! Open a frequency with them as well." she ordered turning to face another screen.

She turned to another screen disconnecting the comms to the outpost.

"Very well. I will send one Signal Corp Fighter (http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/GeneralZhukov3333/?action=view&current=stealth.jpg) to the given coordinates to conduct a more formal line of diplomacy.

< Thank you for allowing us to explore this region we will do as we did and hope we do not interfere with anything >

<On your way then, there isn't really much to interfere with.>

Then a message was put out on an open channel:

<To all ships in the area, due to increased activity, we are calling in two Greywatch vessels to serve as overseers.>

With that, a message was sent to Greywatch Prime.

<This is Captain Michel Orlas of the Ganoxian Alliance Destroyer Pheonix Scramble. My ship is on a exploration mission through this part of the galaxy. We do not have any hostile intentions with either party.>

<Understood.>

The Captain of the Yuarn 2 sat in his chair look outside to see the green planet below him and he sighed. He activated his Comm Terminal and sent a message to the Pheonix Scramble.

< I am the Captain of the Yuarn 2 scientific exploration vessel, please tell me what exactly the Ganoxian Alliance is? >

Two Greywatch ships pulled out of PSR on the other side of the system. PSR was notorious for created powerful gravatational disturbances, something that would be of no effect if the ships came out far away from where they needed to be. In only a few minutes they sped from around the sun and began towards the Greywatch outpost. The two ships were both used for different purposes, there was a Star Shadow and a Harbinger. One was a stealth attack ship; the other was the futuristic, spacecraft version of an aircraft carrier. Both ships stopped near the outpost and did nothing further.

OOC: Star Shadows are about 2-3 Km in length. Harbingers are typically 1-2.5 Km in length

The captain activated the comms system for the ship and said "Carefull men, the greywatch or whatever they are called have called in two ships that can be considered Hostile i reapet hostile. If so prepare the emergency MADC for a fall back on Ultima Oxium if needed." and with that the captain continued to read.

"The Ganoxian Alliance is a more formal name for our nation which is a moziac of independent governments that are united together. We tend to say Ganoxa as a common reference," Michel explained.

"Ma'am we are detecting two large vessels coming out of FTL. They are settling above the planet."

"What is with these people and their large ships? Is it some sort of extension to their small phallus," she sighed, "move the ship status to Blue Alert. I want teams to be prepared if something goes horrible wrong..."

"Yes ma'am."

An encrypted message was sent from the outpost to the Greywatch ships:

<Try not to scare them too much, we don't want to chase them off. We only wish to make sure no one tries anything. They seem to be trustworthy.>

With that message, the Star Shadow pulled in closer to the outpost while the Harbinger pulled away and began moving to another point in the system. Both were on standby but would not act until hostility was shown.

The Captain read the radio chatter back from Ultima Oxium.
He began to send a message to the Ganoxian Ship.

< We have orders from the leaders back on Rahgo to escort you to Ultima Oxium, Follow the Magnetic Disturbance Feild to follow us back to Ultima Oxium.>

and with that the ship turned around and activated its MADC Engine and Zoomed back to the Station at Oxium

A Signal Corps fighter launched out of the hangar bay and began making preparations to make its jump into hyperspace. Michel saw the fighter disappeared into the void of space before turning her attention to the previous screen. "Attention Greywatch outpost. I am authorized to conduct first contact diplomacy. Where would you like to meet so that we can have a more formal meeting."

<It's slightly uncommon to find species like this so similar on different worlds. Though, it isn't unheard of, it's rare. We will be sending a vessel to the surface immediately for further analysis.>

On board the station, the Kiioxri looked at its officer and muttered something in its foreign tounge. [Translation]: "What I want to know is how their scanners picked up a creature on the surface of a planet whilest they were in orbit.:
