Status of Forces Agreement between the Commonwealth of Free United States and Conservative Morality

The plenipotentiaries of this treaty, in recognizing the mutual benefit of continued diplomatic relations,
Noticing the gross negligence in mutual understanding that has led to their current state of relations,
Reaffirming their faith in diplomacy and the power of diplomacy in solving international matters,
have agreed to the following treaty between their nations.

Article I
The nations agree to maintain embassies within one another’s country for the purpose of maintaining diplomatic relations between their governments. A property within a previously designated embassy area will be reserved for each nation to be used at their discretion.

Article II
It will be in agreement between the governments, that immunity of diplomats, staff and other officials shall be maintained, and that loss of immunity may only be granted by a mutual agreement between both parties and with sufficient evidence to support the claim.

Article III
Foreign security services shall be given the authority to act in the best interests of their home nation. They shall act in accordance to local customs and laws, except in the form of emergency situations, where the agents may exercise their authority to protect their nations’ sovereignty.

Article IV
Military forces shall not be maintained within either nation, nor shall they be allowed to operate, aside from embassy security, within their host nation. Military personnel shall only be welcomed in the manner of diplomatic delegations, invitations, or aid relief operations.

Article V
It is recognized that persons found in violation of local laws shall be punishable under the host nation’s legal system. Military personnel found in violation, however, may be brought to courts-martial by the convening authority if the violation is deemed to be a matter of military justice and not civil law.

Article VI
A legal advisory committee comprised of two persons from each nation shall be maintained for the purpose of resolving all legal disputes between the nations.
