OOC: This is a thread outlining my elections, coming soon. If anyone is interested in backing a party with financial contributions, they can feel free. Hopefully, this will lead to a more complex RP later.
IC: The ASoGM is again celebrating election season, this time for positions in the General Ministry (OOC: Think Congress). As always, the General Ministry consists of 500 Ministers, appointed by the various Parties. The breakdown of how many Ministers the Parties are allowed to appoint is based on general elections. Every percent of the total vote is equal to 5 Ministers, totaling to 100 percent or 500 Ministers. Campaign flyers have been addressed and sent out, deluging the ASoGM Postal Service with massive amounts of junk mail. The parties are as follows:
Republican (typically socially conservative and supports economic freedom)
Democratic (typically socially liberal and supports socially progressive agenda)
Libertarian (typically supports individual liberty)
Socialist (typically supports collective ownership and equal distribution of wealth)
Separatist (typically supports breaking up the ASoGM into smaller nation states, and disolving the federal government)
Nazi (typically supports ethnic nationalism and eugenics to purify what they consider the "Master Race")
Theocratic (typically supports a religious controlled government and increased requirements to participate in religious functions)
