Vladimir Pyetrochev, the General Secretary of the CPPPRI, today announced his desire for the creation of one great, united socialist defense pact. We wish to guard ourselves and our fellow nations against the Imperialist nations that so constantly threaten us. We must remain strong so that we, the proletariat, can triumph over the Bourgeoisie!

Any interested nations may contact Cmde. Pyetrochev here in Izhevskia (OOC: By posting here) with their ideas for the pact, so that we may draft and ratify a constitution.

Communism is a threat to all people, everywhere. If you let it gain a small foothold, it will spread like a cancer across all that happen upon it. Communists seek to destroy even you, simplely because you repersent what they call the "bourgeoisie". The People's Republic Spain is joyful to see a new alliance of paragons of true socialism to rise and deny all futile threats of imperialists who use ideology as a pretext for the purest savagery and exploitation in disrespect of all forms of national sovereignty, and is extremely interested in signing such alliance.

I will be open about it, there are strong reasons that motivate use to seek an alliance. We are currently in a state of war against the petit-bourgeois false socialists of the Confederacy of Third Spanish States, and through massed strikes, we have lost naval supremacy and any access route to receive foreign goods. We have a millions-strong army, but we are not self-sufficient in resources. The statements made by the New Gresfordian government is entirely non-sensical. First of all, this agreement was entirely defensive in nature. These states, noting the need for protection against international bullys such as Binaria, simply want to ensure their sovereignty. Never has any of these nations mentioned the possibility of taking this alliance into the realm of offensive engagements.

Secondly, Binaria was the first to make a threat, and therefore the agressive party. Applying the logic behind Gresfordian statements to the parties that are actually guilty of their accusations, they should instead be protesting their ally.

In order to solve this situation before it spirals out of control, Yanitaria would be willing to moderate a civil discussion between both parties in order to avoid future bloodshed.
