I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a American Civil war, im no good at map making and all that, but i was wondering if someone could make the idea come to life. Ive really wanted this to go down, and think it would be fun. Players could take a certain number of states and continue from there. Greal maybe you are interested, as well as others. But ya, i thought it was a good idea, just need someone to get it off its feet. We could include such things as outside supply lines, depending on your goverment etc. but nothing great.

modern day timeline and tech, or we can go with WW2 tech.

sweet, i was thinking of being a new confederacy, but your cool to, but we must wait first, things need to be sorted out, you might not have all of the former states, and we don't know how many states are allowed to start with.

yes, all our states are considerd equal in everyone's eyes at the beginning, but you can change them from states to something else, for instance mine are going to be called "Republics."

I would suggest that you simply use online maps from what ever time
you're playing in.

I hear you can do a google images search and find them...

Or for modern ( now ) just use Google Earth, it's what I do for my
war's on here.

For another, Iraq has only slightly more population than the three states I claimed on the forums. For yet a third, I guarantee the number of guns in those three states is larger than those held by Iraq. Even discounting the military bases in VA and the NRA museum. We have 9 in this house. Iraqis(assuming they have the legal amount) may have one gun per military aged man per house. There are two of us in here, so we're already 5 guns up... Figure the guys that have dozens, figure weapons collectors, figure in wackjobs, we probably have nearly as many guns in VIRGINIA as there are in private hands in Iraq.

However, as per the rules, you can only claim states next to each other, Ie. Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas (My Nation by the way, lol).

Who is the admin? Couldn't you just get them to hand over control so you can clean the old site out and start again. This tine I'd suggest making a map so you can show areas under control. Color code it or something.

Yep. With California and Hawaii I would have all of it by my maths, and therefore could take Alaska and it's oil with Ease, before annexing the rest of the West coast.

The offsite forum is dead. Falaksia wants to re-start it, as do we. However non of us has the ability to run the existing forum, so either someone creates a new one or we have to get Greal, who I think was the Admin for it to hand over control.

Attention everybody interested in Modern Civil War RP!

We are officially restarting the Modern Civil War Offsite RP. New sign-ups will commence immediately and all states will be claimed on a first post, first served basis. For those nations that have been lurking for an extended period (Cascade States, East Laos, etc.), the states they have claimed will be reserved for them up to 48 hours from the moment this is posted. After that, they are free-game.

All existing nations will be able to retain their conqueres states, so long as they agree not to expand anymore (unless of course one of the nations [old or new] gets too big.) Everybody is welcome to join, and please post here before registering at the offsite forum.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask either me or North Calavares.
