Covering Story: Coronating Ceremony of Vera Cava

The Colony of Vera Cava, as well as cities like Aortha, Ventrica, Octilo, Tréguier, Bernford, and Lyreston are to be coronated for their entrance into the Greater Levantian Empire.

Tomorrow, The Right Honorable Sir David Lyod Geroge, State Minister of the Empire of Canaery, Duke of Ventrica, and Prime Minister of Farqueland will coronate the Colony of Vera Cava which borders the Greater Levantian Empire. Along with the Colony of Vera Cava and all of the cities that reside within its border, six major cities in the homeland will be joining as well.

The event is said to be held in the Posiedon Buildung of Ventrica, Vera Cava. The robust, regal look of the building will suit the occasion very well. Honoured guests such as The Right Honourable Sir David Loyd Geroge, The Right Honourable Sir Michael Richardson, The Right Honourable Sir John Gutted, The Right Honourable Sir Eliot Right, The Right Honourable Sir Douglas Pire, The Right Honourable Alison Krippin, and of course the current President, The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Striker.

Furthermore, honourary delegations from the nations of Volzgrad, Ustio North, Alogorthia, West Ponente, Yallak, Gataway, Ra and, Piccavia, the Vante-Vetalian Empire, and all member states of the GLE are invited to attend.

The schedule is expected to begin with speeches by current GLE members, then a Coronation Mass, followed by a few more speeches by Grestonian delegates, and then the official coronation of the territory by Sir David Loyd Geroge handing over the territory and The Sovereign King Ryan St. Claire of The Empire of Canaery knighting him as the territorial leader.

OOC: Good start to the thread so far Gres.
IC: Ryan St. Claire sat in one of his parlors in his new Imperial palace, a place he retreated to when he needed to think. He watched the news cast from his giant plasma screen t.v. "Well," he said to himself, after some time had passed, "this will certainly be a good thing not only for our Empire, but also to retain ties to our Former Motherland." He looked over on his wall, where the seal of the New Empire was on a huge gold shield, crossed with two swords, hung over a grand fireplace. "Now," he began, "I must begin preparation. I must arrange flights, get flights for my fellow monarchs, and get there fairly early to go over all the pomp and circumstance of this coronation." He said this in a rather slurred tone, possibly because he had drank to much Canero Beer, or perhaps it was because of his sudden attitude change that had taken over him, an attitude that made him more noticeable, more fearless, even brazen, yet more commanding somehow, when he was crowned Emperor, or even a combination of both. Either way, he saw fit to retire early, and did so.
