Twelve Noon
The President laughed, and so did the Vice. James put down his sandwich and stood up. Ingram sat there, amazed
"Since when could you walk?" he asked, utterly stunned
"About three days, but I can't do it very well. The doctor tells me it will be at least two years before I'll be able to walk normally. It's better for me to use the wheelchair for the time being." he answered
"But wouldn't walking longer bring down the time you'd need to recover?" reasoned Ingram
"Well, I guess so. Let's take a walk, shall we?" smiled Hogart
"Alright then, Mr. President. Let's walk" he said
Ingram helped Hogart walk through the building. After a few moments of silence, the peace was broken
"Ingram, there is something I must tell you. I have kept it from you since you were 20. I cannot bear to keep it from you anymore" He sighed and paused for a moment, Ingram listening eagerly
"Do you remember Saerine, Ingram. I hope you didn't forget about her..." said the President. Ingram looked at him very seriously and took a long pause.
"Yes." he answered plainly with a hint of sadness "The day the Londinians killed her I would not stop fighting."
Hogart sighed "The Londinians had nothing to do with it. At the time I was head of the Ghost ops program, which was in it's infancy at the time. We desperately needed recruits, so we devolved to kidnapping. But Saerine was a different story. She was volunteered by her father to get her away from you. I never wanted to take her, but we needed the soldiers. That's why I told you she was dead; I'm so sorry Ingram, I never should have done this" Hogart said sadly
"Is she still alive?! Where is she?!" yelled Ingram, grabbing Hogart's shoulders firmly. James shrugged him off
"She's with a group of former black ops. I tried to have them killed for disorderly conduct, but they escaped and now work for hire." James replied
"How many are there? What do they look like? are they well known?" questioned Ingram
"Have you heard of Satan's trio, Ingram?" answered Hogart with a slight smile. Ingram crossed his arms
"Do you mean the crime group? The ones that murdered all those people?"
"Yes, I do. They were not a crime group, or murderers. They were, and still are vigilante assassins; killing those who struck at the innocent. They only killed the innocent if it was utterly necessary." He replied
Suddenly, gunfire was heard outside the building, and ten men with assault weapons entered the room, screaming out commands to each other
"James! Get out of here quick-" The first bullet struck Ingram in the shoulder. He staggered back. He shook it off only to be shot a second time in the knee. Another shot flew past him and struck the President in left lung. The old man collapsed. Ingram turned back to the attackers, who had gained an additional five men. Ingram drew his Colt .45, only to be shot a third time in his left hand. Despite the horrible pain and mocking by the assailants, Ingram leveled his pistol. The mocking stopped as he fired the first shot; a forty-five caliber hollowpoint. The poor man's head literally exploded, splattering blood onto the man behind him. There was fear in the men's eyes as Ingram pulled the trigger a second time, then a third, until the magazine was empty. Now there were only seven men left. Ingram leaped forwards, drawing his combat knife and burying it into the leading man's skull, before turning on another man. He dug his fist into the man's throat, breaking his windpipe before turning the man into a human shield. The third man mired his entire magazine into his suffering comrade in terror, as the other men began to flee. Before he could turn, Ingram grabbed the man by the back of his shirt. He pulled the screaming man closer so that he could put his mouth to his ear
"Do you see that? Your comrades are leaving you here for me to kill you. It's the end of the road for you" Ingram smiled darkly and dug his fingers into the man's eyes, the attacker screaming horribly, and then dug them up into his brain. The screaming stopped, and all that could be heard was Hogart's slow breath. Ingram walked over to the dying man and clasped his hand
"Ingram... forgive me for what I have done to you" he whispered
"Do not ask for my forgiveness, you did what you had to" Ingram pulled Hogart close
"Ingram... you must follow this oath for you to be president... protect Lord Sumguy... ensure freedom in Cazelia and abroad..." Hogart stopped
"And Ingram... You have... a... son" with that, Hogart slipped into death as paramedics and national guardsmen entered the room.

Ingram straightened his tie. He had never been comfortable in a suit, but he really had no choice. He was the president of Cazelia, and needed to dress as such. He exited the building and into into the graveyard with two marines beside him in ceremonial uniforms, carrying M1 Garand rifles. At least 100 people stood around the grave. A Cazelian flag was draped over the coffin, and a 20-gun salute had been prepared.
The only thing now was to wait for Lord Sumguy and the Grealites
Yarkai Cemetery of Honor
A limo pulled up. Inside was Martin Watson, his cousin Sarah, and Sarah's son. Behind the limo was an SUV which held four Republican Guard. Martin was wearing a black suit. He got out of the car and greeted President Ingram. Sarah came next holding her son, ironically named James.

At 2:58 Lord Sumguy stepped out of a car nearby, dressed, in black. He held the door open, and Mary Basset stepped out. She was likewise dressed in a long black dress. After a moment, the two began walking toward the grave.
"Will you be alright?" Mary asked, looking up at the Hegemon.
"Ill manage." He replied simply.
Ingram approached the two cars. His arm was in a sling and he was being helped walk by a marine.
"I'm fine, John. I can walk" He sighed. The marine nodded and walked back to the grave. He looked at Lord Sumguy first and limped over to him "I'm sorry about Hannah, my lord." He hugged Lord Sumguy and then turned to Sarah and his son. He looked at Sarah first, not even smiling. There was an expression of sadness and hopelessness on his face. He merely shook his head and then looked at his son. Before he could talk a black SUV arrived and two men and a woman stepped out. One of the men's face was horribly burned, and several of the guests revolted in horror
"What you all looking at?" He said menacingly. The second man was about 25 years old, he had blue eyes and dark brown hair, and was wearing a tan coat and baggy blue jeans. There were two pistols on his belt and a knife on his pant leg.
The woman was about the same age as Ingram. She had white hair and red eyes. She was wearing dark jeans and a black leather coat. She clearly wasn't carrying any weapons.
About a second later a child of about 12 got out of the car. He was about 5'5 and was wearing a T-shirt with a brown coat and jeans just like the rest of the group.
Ingram fell to his knees and covered his eyes in his hands as tears flowed from his eyes
"Saerine." He muttered as she knelt down next to the President
"Yes, Ingram. It's me." She said comfortingly "This is your son. His name is Jack."
"We never had a son." He answered in a near whisper. The burned man looked at Lord Sumguy
"Sorry for the rude entrance, sir" he extended his zombie-like hand. His nose had been nearly burned away, and he wore goggles that hid his eyes. He also was adorned with a hood and most of his body was wrapped up with bandages and clothing

This was getting interesting. Martin Watson then saw another limo pulling up. Will Riddle, General of the sixth army, got out of the limo along with his son, Raul, who was the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Sarah looked like she was about to burst into tears, but she held it back. Martin the n greeted Lord Sumguy.

Telegraphic Department of the Office of Mr. Michael Richardson
Dear President Ingram Hasley,
After hearing words of the assination of Mr. James Hogart, the latest president of Cazelia, I was first in shock. I could not make myself to believe the facts. Then, once being presented with the facts and information, I was wonderfully delighted. Mr. James Hogart, a so called honoured man, had what was done almost literally filed out for him. This murderous, disrespectful, and utterly insane man should not have even been allowed to live as long as he had. The fact of the matter of Mr. Hogart's age also concerns me. He is classified to be a man of an older age, but from what I have seen and heard tell of, he has the personality of a depressed three year. Furthermore, which is more dangerous than his depressed three year old personality is the fact he is allowed to weild a gun and has armies of insolent little men to lay waste at his feet for him.
I say good ridance to this menace! I was waiting for this time to come and came as the most glorious relief as possible. Now pressumably, basing this off of how most Cazelians act, you will react with a firmly written message of disapproval, littered with poorly used profanity, insolent threats of war and other murderous events of our people, as well as a rushed sentence which all in all says, "I hate you."
Yours truly,
The Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Richardson
Director Foreign Affairs of the Foreign Relations Ministry

"Your apology is accepted." The Hegemon replied, shaking the man's hand, apparently not noticing the burn scars as he looked directly into the man's eyes. "It is a pleasure to meet you Mr....."
"Alan Redsmith." The voice of the Rev. Thomas Shmidt said behind him as the priest strode to join the group. "My, my, I did not expect to see you three here." He bowed "Greetings to you, Mr. Redsmith, and to you Miss Delcoza, and of course you Mr. Diron, from one old practitioner of our profession to a promising new generation." The Reverend looked like just another clergyman, but there was something about him, perhaps the way his eyes looked if you observed him closely, perhaps an imperceptably slight dfference in the way he carried himself that inspired a single emotion in those who did not know him: fear.
"Are Cazelians always like this?" Mary asked the Hegemon quietly, looking somewhat startled.
"I am afraid so, the Haselys especially. It is something you will have to learn to adapt to." The Hegemon replied, a faint smile momentarily appearing on his face.

"Lord Sumguy. Its nice to see you again." said Will Riddle who just happened to join the talking group. His son Raul was arguing with a Republican Guard over security.
Alan smiled; if it could be called a smile
"Ah, Reverend Shmidt, I have heard much about you" He said, extending his hand. Saerine helped Ingram up. He wiped the few tears from his eyes
"Ah, hello Lord Sumguy. I am Saerine Delcoza. Ingram may have told you about me but I will explain to those who do not know about me. I was taken by the Ghost ops program because my father wanted me away from Ingram. We were in love back when we were 16, and my father didn't want that. I soon had a son, who is standing here next to me right now." She said, addressing the whole group
No, this is impossible. Ingram would have mentioned it. But he never did. Sarah's head was racing with thoughts. Will Riddle stepped forward.
"Its a pleasure to meet you again, Ingram, and your....son." said Will, hesitantly.

"Have you?" Shmidt replied, taking his hand and smiling in a slightly disturbing manner. "How unfortunate, I must be slipping." They would have made decent executioners with the proper training ane mental preparation. He thought as he shook Alan's hand Pity. "I hope you dont mind that we've been keeping a bit of an eye on you." He said. "Just in case any of you...stray from the path."
"I see." the Hegemon said. "It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Delcoza." He continued though he did not seem happy in the slightest, then turned to Will Riddle.
"Likewise." he said, extending a hand to be shaken, his usual smile absent. "I hear you are a General now, quite a shift from civilian work."

Shaking his hand he said quietly so only Lord Sumguy could hear," Keeping a watch on Martin." Then his voice became louder."Well, my term as Minister of Foreign Affairs expired, and I was offered a position in the army by General Heart before he died. I took it, and have never regretted it."

"First of all, do you know anyone or any nation for that matter that could have assassinated James Hogart?" asked Martin.
Ingram shook his head "I'm not sure" he sighed "Do you need to ask anything else, Martin?" asked Ingram
