The following is an AP News Report.
Metinas, Agra, Centauri Commonwealth (AP) -- The Constitution Act of 2008 was finally passed by referendum in all sixteen Centauri states, which formally created the Commonwealth of the Centauri Republics. This also brings about a formal Centauri Constitution and the creation of a new national government.
After nearly forty years of constant campaigning from both supporters and opponents of the Constitution Act, the Centauri states of Belltaria-Centaur and Western Igles became the last two of the sixteen Centauri states to ratify the Constitution Act.
The new national government will be a parliamentary-style democracy with a Senate as the main legislative body. Then the majority party will select its "leader", who must be a current Senator, and he or she will also become the first Prime Minister of the Commonwealth.

OOC: I was the nation of Cypron, but personal reasons forced me to stop role playing. However, I feel it is now appropriate for me to get another crack at the game. I decided to start a new nation because I felt that my absence pretty much killed any momentum that Cypron had. I apologize to anyone who was rping with me, when I was still Cypron, for abruptly abandoning the game. However with the various personal issues out of the way, I am ready to get back into the game.
