(Hello this is my intro, my method of establishing the country)

1915

Right in the heart of a dense jungle a group of explorers was trapped. Hindered by harsh storms, dense tropical foliage, heat, humidity they were at a standstill. Another team member passed away again. "What a waste." Came from group leader Makoto Kusunaki. He was leading this trip to find gold in the southern mountains. But now he was about to discover something far better. As the men dug their shovels to dig graves up from the ground came bubbling crude.

"Oil, Oil!"

Everyone got excited, oil was now in demand.

1915 became known as the BLACK GOLD RUSH, soon thousands of people were flocking to strike it rich with oil. A town was born, and that town's leader was non-other than Makoto.

"I'm making a fortunate off all these people searching for oil, all these nations wanting to import from us."

"By our estimation, by the end of this decade you could be the weathliest man on this earth."

It didn't take long for Makoto to get a wife. He needed heirs to pass his fortune onto him. With the newly established country of Motokata thriving and growing in population, more and more businesses were coming to establish.

1935

The earnings of Makoto were short lived, he died in a random car accident, leaving his wealth amongst his family. The trustees however, weren't happy that they weren't getting their share, pretty soon organized crime was formed amongst businesses to get more and more and more money. Greed was now fueling the nation and it wasn't going to end. Most of his family members moved to other portions of the country, setting up in their rich estates, and glorious mansions. Despite the best efforts to be robbed by the various crime syndicates they managed to keep their millions and invest in overseas corporations and war machines. But many were still in the oil company. But one wealthy family knew better. The Shiba family was smart, they made their millions in oil and pulled out. "The oil market is going to bubble and then burst. Simple business logic." He said reading over the latest business news.

He was right, a few years later the country oil supply became much more in demand, the government bailed out while they could and spared themselves the damage.

1970

When the oil market went under and now the country resorted to importing most of it's oil a new market was in for the super rich and the super greedy. Drugs. While outlawed in the country and many others the underground/legal trade was the new cash cow. And the fact drugs were 99% renewable, half grew naturally in the wild. One of the major drug cartellers was young Shinji Ookai a 17 year old product of military. Grew up in the slums of the capital city he was accustomed to a life of crime. Military camps were like prisons, you only made worse habits, learned new criminal techniques. That month seven government legislators were kidnapped. Of the seven, three were brutally killed, the the shaken four returned with a known sense of having to be corrupt. From there on captialisim was the only way to go. The rich were getting richer, the poor poorer.

2005

In 2005 a new leader came to power. Equally rich and powerful as many of the others before. He however married out of the upper class, a poor country girl, 16. It had stirred many including his special advisers.

"Kaji is a young naive fool. Marrying outside his class, outside the boundaries, it's going to set a bad president." Mr. Ikari was the typical business man, chubby, bald, chewing on a cigar. He wasn't very "Asian" in his appearance he came from a blended family.

"What can we do, the law is the law."

"Let's take out Kaji. Scare this girl back to the cocoa fields."

One week later Kaji was kidnapped, they made it look like he was targeted by the dug cartels. But his wife Kaori was anything but scared back to the fields. Under constitutional law she was to take the leadership. Both getting killed in such a short window was much to suspicious. They would let it slide for now.

Greetings from Montana Incorporated, we have noticed that your nation produces a lot of "pharmaceuticals" and therefore would like to make a deal with you. We would like to purchase your operation, depending on quality and market size. You will still be in charge and allowed to have a cut of the profit, however Montana factories will be built in the area to produce your "products" far cheaper and is larger quantities, also, Montana Inc will invest into the nation's infrastructure and assist the poor to increase both our reputations. We have the power to give you control of the nation from behind the scenes. We can sell to the military, making them love us more then the corrupt politicians, we can buy congress, help them look the other way. We can win the hearts and mines of the poor, preventing an uprising.

Join us and you will be successful beyond your dreams, cross us and you will be the target of our destruction.

2008

The single-mom ruler was keeping herself and her daughter out of danger. The corrupted officials still wanted to pick her off, but she had other plans.

"A country Mokostana, want's to set up a pharmestuticals branch in our country. I think your industry would be the best."

"We're the nation that companies outsourced to, Kaori, not the other way around. "

"Oh Ikari, this is the perfect time to expand your company overseas. You know how many drugged up countries there are out there? Especially the ones that authorize the abysmal trade of narcotics? It's perfect for your business."

"Well."

"More money, more profits..."

Greed can blind even more than it does already. Ikari was now being outsourced and eventually pushed aside by the Mokan industry, and eventually killed by the Narc agents.

Kaori had to do dirty dealings to stay alive, for her daughter's own sake.

"Today, Oykot Industries, is no more, Mr. Ikari has sold his stock to a foreing entity that will begin remaning operations." Of course Kaori knew they delt with hard drugs, but what could she do? This was vital for her safety. All business were that, private enteties, non, not even utlities were controlled by the Government, if it set up in the country there was nothing she could do. "I am pleased to say he will be the oversear of set up of Montana Inc. a brand new industry to continue serving our medical needs. Thank you."

She left with out answering any questions.

"Fine speach, Madam."

"Thank you."

"Well I think this calls for a celebration, you outsourced your enemies."

"I just got rid of two big ones, I still have enemies."

"Well..."

"Is Yui home?"

"Your personal guard took her home an hour ago ma'am."

"Good. You know what, I want a ball. I'm tired of being in a buble."

"A ball?"

"No one said we were isolationist."

"Well most of the government only desires to interact with foreing business more than governments, but nothing against it."

"Then we'll have it at the Presidential Mansion."

OOC: glancing over old threads, I was taking inventroy of Montana Inc property and i came upon this one, and apparently I forgot to respond to it.

shall we say Montana still has a tight hold on the country but offered its own international security force to Kaori and family for their protection. After all, a strong head of state (or at least in appearance) is something they would want to keep alive for the sake of security in the country.
