Zinairian International Aid Agency
The Zinairian International Aid Agency has partnered with the Santherese Humanitarian Society in order to invite all humanitarian aid organizations of the world to our headquarters in Westlind, Zinaire for a summit. The summit, to be held aboard the hospital ship ZHV Amanda (named as a reminder of Zinaire's involvement in the humanitarian efforts surrounding Hurricane Amanda), is being held to discuss the possibility of a world-wide alliance of aid agencies who will share resources and information and collaborate in the field to insure the highest efficiency when lives are at stake.
We ask that you RSVP to the summit, to be held July 11 (OOC: RL time as well), as soon as possible with the number of delegates from your agency who will be attending. We ask that you do not bring body guards or arm your delegates. If you truly feel that it is necessary to do so, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Naturally, I will attend this summit. I'll arrive by commercial plane tomorrow, at about 10am. Is there anything I should bring with me?

Marchessa Adele Ginevra de Rossi, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the SHS, will obviously be in attendance. We look forward to seeing agencies from other nations join us in this undertaking.

KAIR: We are very glad to hear that you will be attending. We suggest that you fly into Tiamona International Airport as Westlind's airport is not yet completed. If you are unable to fly into Tiamona, Zinaire City is also an option, although it is farther from our headquarters. The morning of the summit, we will be providing transportation from Tiamona International Airport to our headquarters but you can make your own way to Westlind if you desire. Once again, we are overjoyed to hear you will be attending.
BAA: We would have been very disappointed indeed to hear you would not be attending so naturally it is very good to learn that you will be arriving in our nation tomorrow. Upon arriving, please contact us and we will be happy to help you get settled while you wait for the summit. As for what you should bring, a laptop and whatever you would regularly bring for a night or two abroad will suffice. This time of year, Westlind is quite warm so pack accordingly.
SHS: It went without saying that you will be attending. If possible, we would like to to arrive before the summit actually begins (as soon as tomorrow, if you are able) so that we can talk a little and go into the actual summit knowing what we want to discuss.

There should be no problem in arriving beforehand. We'll compile some ideas in the meantime.

To: ZIAA
From: BEHS
Subj: Attendance
Unfortunately, our Chancellor is attending a summit concerning the "Ryou Issue" at the moment, but I myself would be delighted to come, though I would probably have to leave the bodyguard at home--I assume there is no problem with this? I'll arrive by one of our UH-96G helicopters, as I'm assuming you haven't altered the standard Mercy helipad.
I'm looking forward to attending.
Sincerely,
-Jennifer Friedmann

BEHS: We are very glad to hear that you will be attending. If we understand correctly, then no, we do not have a problem with your body guard not attending. Also, we would ask that you do not land directly on the ZHS Amanda as our plan is to meet first at our headquarters building then hold the actual summit upon the ship. We do have helipads at our headquarters building in Westlind though.
OOC: Whoopsie, I've been giving the wrong city for where the ZIAA is headquartered. They're based in Westlind, not Menning.
OOC: Just an FYI, the actual summit will be RPed here, so feel free to RP representatives arriving in Zinaire whenever.

OOC: What airport shall I use to arrive at?
It was 1046 and Stella Merry had been flying for hours, finally the seatbelt light flickered on, the burtlanian passanger plane was about to begin its final decent into Zinaire. With her she carried a sleek leather briefcase containing many documents, and her laptop, which she was currently using, looking up information on Zinairian people, to find out more about the population as a whole. She also held a PDA, to which up to date information on the Kinstantian disaster being emailed to her. She herself was wearing a very business like dark grey suit. Stella buckled up her seat belt and turned off her laptop.
OOC: What airport shall I use to arrive at?
OOC: Tiamona International, probably.

OOC: Ill skip the actual landing, I dont much about airports either! only been aboard a plane once!
IC:
She stepped off the plane into Tiamona International airport, looking around she walked through all the barriers showing her passport etc. and headed for the baggage room, in the busy airport she could barely find her way. Eventually she picked up her small suitcase, and headed for the exit. The day was dazziling bright.
OOC: You've only flown once? Wow. Since the other seem to be lagging, you should probably have her check into a hotel or call the ZIAA and have them help her get settled.

The Kinstantian Airways 767 landed at Tiamona International Airpot with Administrator Charles Utley, Deputy Administrator Wanda Patterson, and Relief Worker Karyn Moore.
As they entered the airport, Charles motioned to Wanda to call hotels to set up rooms for the three.

OOC: Aye and that was only a 4hr flight to Cyprus, 4yrs ago!
IC:
Outside Stella hailed for a cab, she got in the shiny car and the rotund cabbie asked her where to go,
"Take me to a 5 star hotel, near the edge of the city, your choice! Tank you"
The sleek car began to drive off, She whipped out her PDA and dialled ZIAA headquarters.

(OOC: Oi, RL things turned up, so my weekends for awhile are pretty much shot. Will be regularly available during the week, though)
Adele paced through the her room, waiting for two of her secretaries to return from a shopping trip. While Adele's luggage had arrived safely, her entourage's had somehow disappeared during the flight.
She dictated to her third aide.
"In the interest of the world... no, make that 'global community.' Hmm, perhaps something about nondiscrimination and humanity. Unity, brothers and sisters, et cetera." She still hadn't finished her speech and with things going how they were, she'd end up winging it once the summit officially began. "What's the latest from the ZIAA? You should contact them for me."
Her aide nodded, and set aside his laptop. "Yes, milady." He went into the other room to make a phone call.

OOC: Ive sped to first getting into the hotel room
Stella opened the large wooden door and stepped into a large room, with shiny stainless steel hangings everywhere, the large queen sized bed with a white duvet upon it lay as the centre piece to one side, a 42" TV sat on the other, the porter put the suitcase down, she tipped him, and walked to the balcony. As she looked have the banister, she could see the whole skyline of Westlind. It was early afternoon, very warm. She decided to take a shower to clean herself after her tiresome flight.
OOC: Nice hotel room, very Zinairian.
"Sir, we've got some other agencies on the phone."
"Who?"
"The BAA and the SEHS."
"I'll take the BAA, put the SEHS through to Rhonda."

The call from the BAA was from the director, Stella, from the hotel restaurant, she wasn't sure on details on how and when they would be arriving upon the hospital ship. She also wanted to know more about the area, for future overseas campaigns for the BAA, or for the new alliance of aid agencies.
The phone continued to ring...

Wanda decided it was better to call the ZIAA HQ than just random hotels to see if there were specific hotels that we were supposed to be staying at. They were on the Federal credit card, so money was not so much an object.

Adele listened to her aide's conversation in the other room.
"Hello, Rhonda, how are you? The marchessa wishes to inquire about any topics the ZIAA wants to discuss. She also wonders if we should expect member organizations to be nationally sanctioned, so we can have an influential voice in each nation's foreign affairs should the worst happen to our operations."
Adele didn't wish or wonder anything of the sort, really. Not specifically, anyway. That was how most noble-born aides worked, though. She liked it at times. They would have their own concerns that roughly coincided with hers and she could leave them to their own devices when they contacted others. They'd simply take their own ideas, attach her name to them, and see where that got them. The bad thing about them was obvious, though; if they had a lot of bad ideas, she'd lose some credibility. Common aides followed her orders to the letter and had little creativity of their own unless it was absolutely necessary. Those were nice to have, too, but she was a busy woman and couldn't consistently micromanage everyone.
She called over to him, "Ask them about arrival time at the ship!"

no one answered the phone, "ah well, they must be busy with preparations." Stella sighed, "I'll send them an email." She whipped out her brand new, shiny PDA and started typing.
Dear Sir,
I failed to get through by phone, to no avail, but I wish to discuss a few matters before the summit.
Firstly, what time do you which to pick us up from the airport?
Now I would like to mention what I wish to raise at the summit.
unified uniform, more details at summit.
sharing of information between members.
sharing of equipment between members.
communication between members in all areas, from offices, right throughto our men on the ground.
Thank you for your time, hope to see you soon.
Stella Merry
She tapped send, and walked to the bar for a martini.
