GSRN Special News Report

Guerrillas in the most influential state, the Island of Chenko, has declared war on the Union's main government in Teronique, at the south of the island. The rebel leader, whose identity is not known, released this statement earlier today.
"President Garth is a rabid dog that must be put to death! He is an evil dictator, controlling every aspect of your lives, meddling in other countries affairs! When was the last time we had an election, hm? And when was the last time we went to war as a last resort, not just to save some eastern European shitwell? Exactly! I urge you, citizens of Chenko and the A.S.C.U, to rise up against this totalitarian government, and claim this nation for the people! Long live the revolution! long live the revolution!"
We apologize for the vulgarity of some of the statement. The A.S.C.U has yet to release a statement, but it is expected to within the next day.

Now it is back to this week's episode of Fish on a Stick.

"So what are we going to do about this little revolt in that dinky country?" the secertary of state asked.
"General Kalvaran have you drawn up a plan?"
"Yes Mr. President."
"Please elaborate"
"Yes sir." Kalvaran walked over to the projector screen. "Here is the plan sir. The 1st, 4th, and 23rd Stryker divisions will enter at these points.The
1st Armoured Corps will move in to support them. We will also send the 12th Fighter Wing, 13th fighter wing, 24th Fighter Bomber Wing, 18 Fighter Bomber wing, and the 1st Tactical Bomber wing to support them. Along with those will be the 2nd Helicopter Corps with close air support, supply, and transport units. They are to enter in the name of peace. Then they will carry out Sub-Ops Land Grab, Land Expanison, and Land Security."

A armoured convoy made it's sluggish way towards a military base in northern Chenko. "Apparently," said one soldier, trying to get a conversation in the truck "There's a revolution going on."
"First I've heard of it," replied one of the other soldiers.
"It's just another story cooked up by the god damned media corporations," said a cynical soldier, looking around, checking for superior officers "these rebels don't even exist."
At that moment there was as huge explosion from the front of the convoy. "What the hell was that?"
"Not a clue!"
The convoy was meant to be crossing a large suspension bridge, which had suddenly exploded, taking half the convoy with it. At that moment, around 50 heavily armed guerrillas burst from the trees, firing, destroying, killing. In 5 minutes, the convoy's guards were dead.

The pickings from the convoy were slim. Food, small arms, nothing serious. However, the guerrillas found something of crucial importance: the blueprints for the A.S.C.U's WMD program. The government was obviously planning a nuclear strike on another country.

"Common...lets move it people! We don't have all day!" came the bark of Fox, commander of the Black Eagle Operations Group. The Black Eagles were a branch of the Jimzarawayin government, only the Ruler and Secretary of War knew of it's existence. They used civil strife and discord to test new weapons and technologies on other nations, usually under the guise of a Rebel or Terrorist group. This time, the weapon in question they wanted to test, was a new type of tactical nuclear weapon. Fox had made contact with the Rebel faction on the Island of Chenko and two MH-60K Black Hawk's carrying supplies had just taken off from a remote Air Base, on their way to give the rebels weapons. One such weapon was this tactical nuclear device. Along with the nuke were 400 XM8 Lightweight Assault Rifles, 200 OM 50 Nemesis Mk III Sniper Rifles, 150 RPG-29 antitank rocket launchers, and 250 Model M92F hand guns. There were also some medical supplies and basic rations. Fox rode in one of the choppers, the tactical nuke in his hands.

The weapon itself was about the size of a soccer ball, and about as round. It was contained in a titanium cube, do to the unknown nature of the components reaction to harsh environments. The thing about this new weapon though, was not it's nuclear capability. No, it was much more sinister then that. Upon detonation, a chemical mixed in with the uranium became "live". The chemical, and the weapon as a whole, was created in a lab somewhere in Jimzraway, with the intention of combing the horror and lethality of a nuclear strike, with the long term effects of a chemical weapon. The effect of the chemical itself was largely unknown, but it was predicted to have similar effects to that of the Ebola Virus, only on a much faster, quicker scale. As the nuclear radiation and ash spread, the compound would be carried with it, as well as in the wind itself, spreading across the entire nation. There was a fail-safe however. The chemical would only remain airborne for 48 hours before dying out. The precaution was mainly for the test, and would most likely be removed if ever used in a real combat situation. The choppers were about 10 minutes outside of the meeting point...

The aircraft carrier Formidable cut it's way through the waves it had beem sent by the board of fortune to sort out the rebellion on the island of Chenko. Onboard were the 3rd Airborne Brigade. They were mainly made up of conscriptes. Officers were either succesfull soldiers or rich sons bought a commision by thier fathers. The ships officers were waiting for President Garth to give them clearance to Chenko waters then they would quash the rebellion with ease.

Meanwhile Inland

A small team of special forces were hiding. They had HALO jumped into the area a few hours before. They were there to observe a meeting between an unknown nation and the rebels.

(OCC i was referring to the black eagles meeting with the rebels. Jimzaraway feel free to kill them off or what not)

President Garth flicked through his telegrams, wondering what would happen if this rebellion wasn't just another concoction by his rather rampant media. He then came to a very interesting telegram, from Purnelia, asking to help in the growing tension at Chenko. He immediately phoned the number provided. "This is President Garth of the Chrisman Union, you have permission to engage the enemy. Can your planes scout for a large military convoy? We lost contact with it near the city of Velasco. It carrying a very important load."

The helicopters landed at the rebel base, perfectly on time. A figure swathed in black approached the occupants. "Your offer is very generous," he said, eying the multitude of small arms "But you must keep the nuclear device. After all, this is a revolution, not a war against a country! This fight is for the people, not to destroy them like the government pig dogs would! We wish to have a country to control after the revolution, not a nuclear mess! Speaking of the government pig dogs....I'm not to sure of your loyalty...."

Fox looked at the man in black as his men began unloading the cache of small arms. "My loyalty? Really? Please, allow me to demonstrate." He motioned to one of his men, who brought over one of the RPG cases. Fox opened it, checked the settings, loaded the rocket, turned, pointed it at a cluster of trees, and pulled the trigger. The rocket flew into underbrush, and detonated. Screams could be heard as it did so. Bits of human flesh, bone, and equipment fell to the ground. "That was a special forces team from another country. We picked them up on our thermals on the way in. Do you question my loyalty now?" He handed the case and spent RPG back to the man who had brought it to him. He dropped the case with the nuclear/biological weapon at the Rebel's feet. "Take it. Weather you use it or not is up to you." Fox began making his way back to the helicopters, then he stopped and turned. "Also, I must warn you. Another nation will soon be joining this conflict, on the side of your enemies. They are well equipped, and they have men such as myself commanding them. Do not take them lightly." With that, Fox hopped back onto one of the Black Hawks, and as his men piled back into both of them, they took off. His second in command tapped his shoulder. "Yeah Wolf?" The man he addressed looked, pensive. "We still have the remote option on the device you know." Fox shook his head and chuckled. "Yeah...I know."

"Ok men, we've just arrived in the Chrisman Union. They are in the middle of a revolution between Guerillas and the government. We are siding with the government because we know how to deal with rebels. Ok men we have four convoys that need to get to the capitol, you all will be taking different routes to see which is the easiest to get through and the safest. Once we find that out and more troops arrive we will deploy 10,000 soldiers to this nation. Currently there's 350 of you and you all need to make your way to the capitol within 5 hours to supply the military in this area with food, water and new ammo for their weapons. Each convoy consists of 10 armored humvees with turrets ontop, 5 APCs, 5 abrams tanks, and 5 armored transport vehicles. Ok now off!" said General Randall to his men
The four convoys headed different ways to see which would be the easiest and safest way to go.

To whom it may concern,
The Jimzrawayin Government has just recently recieved the news of the Rebel uprising within your Nation's borders. We would like to extend our deepest condolences for the lives already lost, and we would like to offer out military support as well as a lone of up to 2 million Universal Standard Dollars. We would like to send the following force into your Nation, in order to help restore the peace and to help suppress the rebel uprising.
Troops: 5 Battalions, 2000 troops each. Our troops are highly trained and extremely well equipped.
2 Tank Regiments, 200 M1-Abrams Each
2 Artillery Regiments, 250 M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems each
10 Hind Helicopter Attack Squadrons, 10 Helicopters Each
We are also willing to supply the following for your own men
Weapons: 10,000 XM8 Lightweight Assault Rifles
10,000 RPG-29 antitank grenade launchers
8,000 OM 50 Nemesis Mk III rifle
We would also be deploying 2 of our top military Commanders, who's specialty is black operations, to help create a stratagem not only with our own forces, but yours as well.
Please respond as soon as possible so that we may send our troops your way.

"The weather has made our plan impossible." After a pause General Kalvaran continued. "We would like to, instead hire five teams of mercenaries and take them to the border of Chrisman Union by helicopter. then have them enter at various points on foot. They will be told to create havoc and that they are not loyal to anyone but us. They can attack any targets they see, rebel or government."
"Approved. Set it in motion"

Two days later, 5 helicopters approached Chrisman Union from multiple dirctions.

*a small fleet of helicopters flew in the direction of the chrisman union.they were all painted jet black,with the flag of Ameriganastan on the side.ropes dropped from the doors,and a nice sized squadron of soldiers repelled down.they all wore black combat armor,and ski masks over their faces and armed with ak-47s.at the front was a monster of a man,almost 7 feet tall,with no hair,gray eyes and the nation flag on his armor*"all right expendables listen up.our grand leader has commanded us to assist this backwater nations government.we shall show the rebels no mercy.only take 2 prisoners for questioning.kill all the other,now move out!

"Officer on the bridge," shouted a young seaman. Admiral Flavius Poldar a celebrated commander from Purnelia strode onto the bridge. "We have got our orders men we can know enter Chenkos waters," the Admiral announced "We will soon be joined by an armoured regiment and a infantry regiment. We have been asked to to scout near a city called Vellasco send two ARV super two's up too scout the area."

Some time later."We found the remains of the convoy under a destroyed bridge,"
"Excellent I will let President Garth know,"
"One more thing Admiral we have found a town which overlooks a long beach, perfect for landing the rest of the invasion force,"
"Good work dispatch the airbourne brigade immediately" he said with excitement in his voice. An officer on the bridge echoed his orders through the ship.

Half an hour later Brigader Steven Jones adressed his brigade. His brigade was alot smaller than a normal one only numbering 1500 men as they could not bring the full 5000 on aircraft carrier and a few support ships."Men we will go in three waves i will be joining the second wave. We will be travelling in C-212 Aviocars 30 men in each we have reconed landing areas that sure be relativly easy to land in. Kill anyone who gets in your way. Wave one you know who you are go go go!!!"

*the Ameragani forces moved quietly through the forest.they had been tracking a small pocket of stragglers,and they were close upon them*"commander greyjack sir,we've located the rebels who fell behind" *the huge man simply nodded*"how many?" "i counted 30,maybe 40,nothing we cant handle" "excellent,initiate flanking pattern bravo.and leave some for questioning*10 minutes later,the forest floor was covered in blood,and dead rebels* "good job.how many did we lose?" "1 sir.soldier 374" "acceptable losses,bring me the survivor" *they drug a battered and bullet wounded rebel in front of him*"where is your leader? talk!*the rebel simply laughed* "burn in hell" *he grabbed greyjacks side arm pistol and shot himself in the head* "rebel scum.move out men.we need to find more of them"*the quickly vanished into the forest,leaving only 1 dead soldier,and 40 dead rebels behind them*

We do however want to be sure that you are never under threats from a rogue militia again and request that you join the OSAFU in exchange. This will allow us to personally be sure that no rebels ever threat you with revolution again.
