OOC: Due to the relative lack of interest in my first design, I've decided to modify it a bit and re-introduce it onto the market. As usual, comments and/or constructive critism are welcome.

Official Falkasian Aerospace Division Press Release
Due to the relative success of the A-2 Communications Satellite, the Falkasian Aerospace Division has felt inclined to release our latest military missile defense satellite, the BI-3.

This satellite uses state-of-the-art RADAR, Radiological, and Infra-Red tracking systems to locate incoming ballistic missiles, both nuclear and conventional, and track them until they are within range of the satellite's three lasers. Once the missile is within range, an advanced onboard computer fires off one of those three high-powered, 30-kilowatt GUARDIAN Ballistic Interception Lasers to incinerate the warhead, resulting in a guaranteed threat elimination of the missile. Both are good points. I realized my mistake on the altitude and fixed it. However, The BI-3 does have defensive systems. Knowing that ASAT uses cruise missiles, which are by definition a form of ballistic missile, the GUARDIAN Laser would be able to incinerate the warhead as it came into low-earth orbit. The remaining missile body would likely fly through space toward it's target and harmlessly impact the satellite, resulting in at most a slight dent. Considering the possiblity of mulitple ASAT launches to act as a failsafe method, each satellite has a capability of eliminating up to three different targets at the same time, and when combined into "packs" or defensive groups, they can effectively eliminate any ASAT threat thrown at them.

For reselling, you'd sell them a RPR, Retail Production Rights, which would be either a) far more expensive, or b) would specify the profit needed to be sent back to you per unit sold.

As of 12:01 tonight (forum time), the BI-3 will officially be discontinued following the finish it's production run. Currently, there is a stockpile of 93 satellites remaining that will need to be sold by the beginning of BI-4 production in one week. All reasonable offers will be reviewed.
