Greetings: In our area of Antarctica, we have discovered Uranium, which we would like to reduce, and use for nuclear power. Now I know a lot of you are opposed to anything Nuclear, but we have little to no oil and coal reserves here, and all the water's frozen, so we can throw most of the conventional power setups out the window. Because we're in the arctic, there are long periods of sunlight, followed by long periods of darkness, making Solar Panels Undependable. Wind power relies completely on the wind, so it's not reliable either. That leaves Nuclear Power as our last resort.

As for Nuclear weapons, we will create 10 missiles, to use as a retaliatory strike if we're attacked first, and to deter attacks in the first place.

We will pay in gold, as your governments don't except fresh cod as money. Also, if you could train some of us in using said equipment, it would be appreciated.

Please, don't refrain from dealing with us just because we're penguins. We're intelligent. We have the same mental capability as the average human being, and we can speak English with the help of computers.

OOC: I'm tempted to do for you what Dilbert's company did for the Elbonians when they wanted nukes (or was it lasers?). I'm sure you don't have any idea what I'm talking about though.

((I've seen Dilbert, but I don't know about that. And The colony is in a rather isolated place, and it'd cost more to run the thousands of miles of cable from some other antarctican power station to the colony than to set up the power plant.

The Armed Republic of Cascade States as an Arms nation
has produced Nuclear powered ships for people,
so we have experience in the way of building small Nuclear power plants which
are self contained and easy to maintain.

We would be happy to sell you such devises if you'd like,
( we can send a number of them to supply your regional power needs )
and they are set up to be as safe as possible, and cannot be set to
"overload" as seen in movies.

As for Nuclear weapons, we are hesitant to sell them normally but I think in
this case we may relax our position on the matter.
What yield and range would you be looking for? ( how many warheads, how much kilotons per warhead )

We would be happy to take payment in Cod / gold, or maybe lower the cost
if we were allowed to have a small military out post on the edge of your nation?

Which is like a 500 kiloton nuclear warhead.
It would cost about $ 10 million USD per missile ( plus nuclear warhead )

Or a Trident D-5 Sub launched ICBM which could carry;
( Eight ) 100 kiloton / 120 kiloton warheads
using MIRV warheads you can attack upto 8 different targets
at a range of about 4,600 miles
Each one costs about $ 39 million USD

You can load single warheads into Trident missiles, and have correspondingly
larger warheads.
