OOC: Hello everyone. I've have been watching some FT threads and been part of some myself. My plan is to bring together alot of the FT community. Here is the info for this thread:

Battlefield: Star Wars Galaxy

Rules
You may bring your strongest fleets (just no GODMODDING or fleets o' doom)
(On that note though you bring as many ships as you want)

Same rules apply to Land Forces

You may destroy worlds
(but no death stars)

Most importantly have fun. All participants are fighting for territory in the Star Wars Galaxy.

You'll have to gimme a walkthrough of the star wars galaxy, I've watch the movies and played some of the games but not much else. I'll also not be sending in a large force, chances are I'll just act as a support force for someone else. My nation does have and use mercs.

OOC: It is an alternate SW galaxy, however I asked if they have any worlds in the real thing just out of curiosity.:)

I am interested. I will be rping as my future Nod nation, to work out the kinks of it.

The Thule System

The Republic Armada warped into the system. Their leader a giant Gambit-class battleship (which is the size of a Super Star Destroyer) loomed over the moon of Thule. There were nearly 3000 ships in that fleet, and many more back in the home system waiting to be called in. On the bridge of the Gambit-class battleship, called Dauntless, Admiral Flare, a dragonoid, stood overlooking the dark planet from his viewport.
Tactical maps flashed up all around him showing him the fleet's condition. Captain Moore, a reptoid, walked up and waited for the Admiral to acknowledge he was there.

Flare:"Yes captain?" His voice was deep and metallic.

Moore:"Sir all ships are making battle preparations now."

Flare: "Good, now launch about 6000 Phoenix-100 fighters to protect the ships and tell the Kaaras-class Star Yachts (a type of starfighter) to move into defensive posture."

Moore: "Yes sir."

Korriban

The Super Star Destroyer, Leviathan II hung over the Sith homeworld of Korriban. The Sith fleet had just returned from fighting in the Sol System. Darth Vectivous looked at the sensor report taken moments ago. The report showed a large Armada that had entered the Galaxy near Thule. He hit a switch on his command board and spoke:

"Calling the Sith Defense Fleet, make the necessary preps and head for the Thule System. Do not engage unless I give the order."

Thule

Captain Moore finished getting a status check from the Maw, a Kaaras-class Interdictor Cruiser, stating that all preparations were done. He reported this to Admiral Flare.

Flare: "Excellent report Captain. Now for some unsettling news. A fleet of ships have been detected heading this way from Korriban."

Moore: "Sir, how do you recognize the system?"

Flare: "I've done my homework on this Galaxy. However this fleet is not hostile at the moment, so just in case, fire up all weapon systems and get the fleet into battle formation."

A Ciscilian Frigate, the Inquisitor, dropped out of slip-space on the edge of the Thule system, creating a brilliantly white blazing hole in the fabric of reality. It moved away from it's exit and the hole closed back up. The Inquisitor moved off on a random tangent away from the exit and set about masking it's electrical and thermal energy signatures. It activated it's long range detection instruments and drifted; to observers it would have appeared to have faded from space as it moved.

As the instruments activated they began logging information and scans on the fleet stationed above the systems main planet, Thule. They began compiling reports on what they watched for when they returned to their operating system.

(OOC: The most predominant ship is a Frigate, just an idea of what my ships look like :p Also, for you my wish to know this! The Frigate is slightly longer than an Imperial class star destroyer; by around 100 meters or so since an Imp Sta Des is 1600M long.)

Leviathan II came out of hyperspace a few miles away from the unknown fleet. Judging by the ship design, these weren't from this Galaxy.

Vectivous cringed, "All fighters full speed ahead. All ships attack that fleet!"

The Sith TIE fighters moved in and began blasting green darts of energy out of their blaster barrels.

Hypori

The Yuuzhan Vong's 2nd Command Fleet was positioned in blockade formation over Hypori, in the Outer Rim. They had just finished taking over the planet when Hypori's Intergalactic News Station reported sightings of strange fleets near Thule and Korriban. This was nothing important these days. People invaded the Galaxy all the time and the Vongs had been one of those invaders years ago. Chances are, the New Republic Government based on Coruscant would take action soon. But just in case the Vongs made the preparations to jump to Byss, the new homeworld of the Vong Defense Base, so they could monitor the situation.

Captain Moore ran up to Admiral Flare screaming.

Moore: "Sir, an ALIEN FLEET has attacked us!!!"

Flare didn't even blink.

Flare: "I can see that. But they have made no tactical move of any use as far as I can tell. They are just charging in and firing. Tell the Kaaras-class Star Yachts to move into a V-formation and destroy the TIE fighters. Tell all Phoenix-100 starfighters to pull back and defend the fleet and then tell the EF76 Reptoid Escort Frigates to move up into a line in front of the rest of our ships to make it harder for the enemy to advance."

Moore: "Yes sir"

All ships got into said positions and the Kaaras-class Star Yachts moved to attack firing their HM-8 missiles at the TIE fighters.

Vectivous watched as fighter after fighter got wiped out by the advancing enemy fighters.

"What the...? How can their ships move in sync like that?" he blurted out. He flipped a few switches and told all ships to retreat to the Wayland System to re think their strategy.

(OOC: Dark side elders, i assume it's me your blasting at lol. Just for clarification i have only 1 ship there and it was technically inhiding. But if you can see it it's fine lol.)

The Inquisitor flared suddenly to life as a hail storm of lasers zommed towards it, being emmitted by small single ship fighter in a "H" shape. It powered up it's shield in a flash of light which formed a shimmering barely noticable field around it, but not soon enough to deflect most of the shots, which hit the ships exposed topside.

Deep withen the ship the ShipMaster stood on his observational platform and assesed the situation.
"Damage report?" he requested,
"Damage superficial, hull integrity maintained, relay 16 is offline though sir."
The ShipMaster pondered this as the fighters grew closer, their shots being absorbed by the sheilds,
"Charge up pulse lasers, ready a plasma torpedo."
"Aye sir!"

The frigate flared to life as it's engines pushed it along, it began firing with it's pin-point pulse lasers on the fighters. As it leveled itself with the main enemy ship, identified as the Leviathan II, it fired two plasma torpedoes, staggerred so the second would hit 5 seconds after the first.

(OOC: PLasma torpedoes are basically remote gravity controlled blobs of superheated plasma. (can boil through metal like flame through paper)

OOC: No I am attacking Repto.

OOC: Ya it was suicidal!! :D Repto you are stinkin smart obviously! Hey Soviet, watch out for him, he has some really weird battle tactic thing going on. It's kinda why I've retreated to a nearby system to re-think things lol

The The once green and lushicoues vibrate worlds of Onderon and Its moon the jungle satalie of Duxn were no longer recgonisable, the Onderonian Cities like Izis(sp?) were now nothing but a bunch of large smoking craters. every sign of the worlds once former rulers obliterated and the world a scorched wasteland unlike Tatooine.

A Large fleet hung above the planet, orbiting it silently as the Colony ship did its job.


That was three months ago.
The fleet is almosted trippled insize along with the Salvation of a wrecked super Stardestroyer hull in space. The planet was protected by a grid of semi fuctional Orbital defense stations but they would be done soon. It was time to expand again.


On the bridge of the newly Kewenified SSD the order was given and the The SSD along with its escorts the newly designed and built Svengal Attack Crusiers Plus the two Prototype Orillian Battleships the Combined fleet fully 1/2 of the Kewen power in this galaxy + numers Destoryers and Frigates Entered FTL and headed for the nearby system known as hapes.

OOC: Very well fight the Hapes inhabitants yourself, I have another system in my sight. I will post IC in a sec.

Admiral Flare checked the system the fleet was about to jump to. He knew very well that the system had been mostly uninhabited for hundreds of years and he also knew that he needed a planet for a Base-of-Operations. All of the Reptoid ships warped out of the Thule System.

The Telos System

The fleet came out of lightspeed above Telos, a completely barren world. Over 1000 years ago, Darth Revan and Malak destroyed the planet's cities and inhabitants. He landed troops and took over the abandoned buildings this was his new base.

OOC: Just so everyone is clear on this, Telos is mine until someone takes it.

OOC: Ok I see that people are already taking over worlds, which is ok, but every time you take over a world in this thread list the SW planets you currently own so that no one gets confused and newcomers know which are taken and which are open.

The newly named Redoubt Formely known as the Vengance SSD, reformed in the system, along with its escorts the twin Orillian Battleships at 2km 8 Svengal Attack Crusiers at a near 1km and almost 30 Destroyers and at least 100 PD frigates all these ships paled in comparison to the 19km of SSD that orbited below them.

The fleet assumed attack position and moved to Home planet of the hapans, they wernt slow to react with a net of Hyperspace mines ringing the system coming on in less than a few minutes after 40 Battle Dragons and only 10 Nova Class battlecrusiers.

"Ssssurender now or be dessstroyied" Was broadcasted to every Hapan ship in the system its answer came in a barrage of Turbo laser and ion cannon fire that turned the first few Destroyers in the formation into charred wreckage.
"You have sssealed your fate" was the last thing heard before the ships sprang into action the Orillians moved forward with the Svengal flanking them opening fire into the heart of the Hapan fleet the Starhome while the destoryers began skimishing with the Battle Dragons the PD frigates went about demolishing the My'til fighters but were blocked by the Nova Battle Crusiers.

"Charge the main Cannon" HIssed out over the bridge long ago the Kewen had perfect the Multiitap cannon which was in essense simlar to the death star laser but much weaker, three of these cannons had easily been fitted on the Redoubt as they began to charge three big balls of red energy began forming at the tip of the SSD.

"Keep Firing Men we cannot let these attacks take our home! for our fathers! for out brothers and sisters our daughters and sons! we will fight on we are the Hapan Navy!" Bellowed the Hapan Admiral over the comms rousing the spirts of his crew as they carried the fight to the enemy in hind sight he thought the mines were a bad idea it trapped him and his fleet along with the enemy.

"Sir StarHome reports 45% damage to forward sheilds the enemy is moveing foraward.. they seemd to have a Eclipse Class SSD with them"
"WHAT! are these Empire ships?"
"no sir hull scans show severe damage it appears to have been salvaged"
"Target the structural weakpoints of it with the Starhome Nova's form a wedge and move onto thoses Battle Ships leading that formation" he said pointing to the Orillions.


Hours later of intense and brutal fighting.
Wreckage dotted the system as several hulks expolded the Rebout moved triumphantly towards the planet Its Orillion escorts limping behind it out of al the ships who came to this system only the Redoubt Orillions and Svengals survied well to be exact in combat conditions Most if not all of the PD frigates were wiped out by Torpedo Fire and the Novas while the destoryers were picked off by the Battle Dragons the Orillions were near completly totalled barely being able to move after the battle the Svengals surpirsingly attracted little fire.

As the Redoubt took positions over the planet Hundreds of Turbolasers opened up on its citites and lakes as it began cleansing this world and bringing it to Kewen Glory!

The Reptoid reinforcements arrived to protect Telos. While the main fleet prepared to take another system.

After the Subjugation of The Hapans, well more like extermination Plans were made to secure the surrounding area and construct a World Gate which would bring in a flood of Reinforcements to secure these resources the nearby worlds and systems of Ambria,Togria,Kashykk and Telti were targeted with a change of 1 in 50 for being Collection pool adaptable the Following ships were sent to Kashyyk
The Redoubt
Its twin Orillion BB Escorts with the newly built thrid Orillion its 8 Svengal Escorts 10 Destoryers and 110 PD frigates. Khasyyyk was determined to be a good suroce of raw materials and labourers with the other systems were purely to secure the area.
The folloing ships would be sent to Ambria Telti Togria in that order.
1 Orillian BB 2 Svengal 40 PD frigs and 10 Destroyers.

ooc: if anyone wants they can RP the defense of Khassykk or something ambria is uninhabited, Telti holds a Old driod manufacturing planet probably uncontrolled and still producing bomb driods so not much will be in that system. Togria is again lightly inhabited few trading ships if any and the inhabitants tograisn have basic starship tech if anyone wants to play them if not im just going to flatten them?

The 1st Reclamation fleet led by the Redoubt entered the Khassyyyk System and immeditaly made a beeline for the Wookiees home planet. a message was sent

The translator droid for the Wookies relayed a message to the hostile fleet.

"Make us!"

OOC: I know they have no ships. The planet near Kassyyykk that I own is Bimmiaari. But I'll check Ambria out.

The main fleet came out of lightspeed near Rhen Var, an uninhabited ice planet with a few Old Republic bases on it. Lander ships took to the ground landing on the old landing pads and flooding the bases. This is were Admiral Flare chose to set up the 'home' of the main fleet. He launched probe droids into the systems around Rhen Var and told the remaining reinforcements to wait for orders.

After finishing the gathering of the Vong Armada at Abregado Rae the fleet warped to Geonosis were their allies were building a new battle droid army. Tsavong Lah tapped his vilip and opened communications to the head Geonosian.

Geonosian: "Sir, our production couldn't be better. In a few days we can discharge the First Battalion."

Tsavong: "Good."

The Ciscilian fleet dropped out of slip-space turning the surrounding region of space into a distorted twisted brilliant white area of brilliance before fading. The ships had arrived fro mdeep withen the Unknown Regions at Bakura. Here they would carry out the first part of their plan to ensure that non-one could come to threaten them.

The fleet collectivly fired up their engines and powered their weapons systems, heading towards the planet swiftly. Consisting of 27 ships, 18 Frigates, 6 CCS Battle Cruisers and 3 Assualt Carriers, it was an impressive sight.

As they approaced Bakura a small fleet of 6 vessels with a swarm of fighters approached the fleet, compared to the Ciscilian fleet, whose Assault Carriers were 3 miles in length, the force seemed pitifully suicidal. Seemingly realising this two of the vessels broke of on an out-system vector, 3 others adjusted course slightly as if considering it before the ships all scattered. The Ciscilians had gained thier first victory without firing a single shot.

They let the ships escape, they had targets to meet, and they would succeed. The Ciscilians had long ago cast aside the old policy of capturing a planet, instead the system itself could be used. But whilst their potential foes held onto the idea of residing on planets, such planets would be a threat. As such, the Ciscilians had a plan.

Without making any radio contact with people on the surface whatsoever they simply spread out across the planet, scanners detected potential defender forces below; not that it mattered. Suddenly, all the vessels unleashed their plasma and energy weapons upon its surface. Plasma of unthinkable temperatures impacted across the world turning it's surface into crystallized glass, in about 3 hours the entire planet would be reduced to a ball of glass, it's inhabitants weapons suddenly deemed futile.

The Ciscilians continued with glassing the planet, in 3 hours, their would be nothing left on it's surface but glass.

(OOC: I'm assuming that since no-one claimed the planet i can do as i wish with it. Anyone feel free to launch themselves into the Bakura system and try to save the planet. That is, providing it's of interest to you and you are actually close enough to get there in time :D After all, you're all on the other side of the galaxy!!! You neve know, you might arrive when i've finished to see the planet reduced to a shiny, refelctive ball :D )

A small task force made up of 40 EF76 Reptoid Escort Frigates and a few thousand Kaaras-class Star Yachts, along with 10 T-16 Heavy Dreadnoughts and the lead flagship, Wings of Grace, a Gambit-class Attack Battleship, began to continue the job of hunting down planets of use. The next target, Belderone.

A Greywatch mercenary ship entered the Rhen Var System and landed on a landing pad at one of the Old Republic bases. The mercs unloaded and packed into the small base.

Thw Worldslayers didn't do anything however, mercs were preparing to set up base when commands came through their comms systems. "Everyone hold, we have only landed but we're not going any further than this until something is worked out." The a message was put through to the commander:
<This is Greywatch Merc One fleet belonging to the Council of Dragons. We appreciate being able to land but don't think we're going much further without details about our payment. We are mercenaries after all and we do not work for free, what's in this conquest of yours for us?>

<What? Only 1000 UCs an hour? That's a hard deal considering the upkeep of this fleet. You realize that a good half of the frigates I have with me can't be seen right? Yeah, they're in cloak. And look at the two ships that have landed in front of you, 37 kilometers of armor, shielding, and weapons all here, sitting right in front of you. We've already got food and men, and everything is spick and span, believe me, this thing is harder to maintain than it looks. But I'll cut you a good deal so listen up, I say you pay us 700 UCs per hour plus 25 for every enemy fighter, 200 for an enemy frigate or cruisar, and 750 for a capital or command ship. And you know what else, we'll even set up forward assault bases on planets you wish to take, for some fee of course. And if we happen to disable a ship, we have the right to take it and incorporate it into our happy little merc fleet, the crew of the ship can be your responsibility. And we also wanna set up some outposts on the planets you take as well, small and easy to set up. Just we have a few places to call home. And, when all this is over, we'll call in Greywatch and they'll handle the rest. So, how's that for a deal.>

The fleet Sent to capture Ambria and the other system was highly successful with the destruction of a few fleeing forces and only light resistance those three systems were under the kewen banner now.


The Force in the Wookiee system of Khasyyyk took geosync positions above the planet after wiping out the few if any orbital defenses.
Thats when the Three Hells of Ssssssslassks Den rained down upon select parts of the planet as entire sections of forest were vapourised under the intense barrarge of kewen fire.

They resent the message after 1/5 of the world had been burnt.

The Ciscilian fleet responsible for the glassing of Bakura emerged at the edge of the Firrerre system. Plotting a course for the planet they moved swiftly, charging up their plasma weapons as they proceeded.

It has starwars planets but it doesn't nessacerily mean that your people live on one of them. It just kinda makes things eaier for us to navigate i suppose.
