War was a way of life for the Hyperborians, it was like a drug, they could not get off it. Conquest was their Motto, The Sword was their song, Victory and Glory was their Battle Cry.

The Call of far shores, planets waiting to bow before The Might of The Great Khan. they had over 4,000 worlds, but that would never be enough. They wanted more worlds, more races into their Khanate. They were expanding into Known Space and now a new target was in line for their first attack on The Known Galaxy.

a Nation known as Scrinthia was a good place to start, ripe for conquest......or was it.

All Militaries knew that it was better to get Intelligence on a enemy and plan out a attack then just rush in like The Hyperborians did.

But something had changed in The Hyperborians, they were soon sending out Probes, from Cloaked Satellites to small Insectoid robotic probes, sent on small Pods made to look like Meteors.

this was the start.

The intelligence the Hyperboreans discovered showed many things, a lot of them showing that the possible campaign was going to be a very difficult one. Although most of the probes were destroyed as they got into the middle systems of the reborn Imperium of Man, they managed to see a great deal. The outer worlds of the Ardonian Imperium were not as well-defended as the rest of the Imperium, but this was the normal case with nations. These were the newly developing colony worlds, and as such, had not a large enough population, nor infrastructure to have a large amount of defenses. They had small garrisons and only a few patrol groups nearby for protection. They would be ripe for attacking, especially considering the Imperium was not expecting an attack at the moment.

Well, that was a lie. They were ALWAYS expecting an attack from someone, but they were not prepared for an attack from this direction or this foe. What little they could gain from the stronger, more developed systems was a large system of defenses, with no idea on weaponry or specs, and a large force of energy signatures, possible battle groups of the Imperial Navy. However, the Hyperborians would be given a surprise soon, since they were attacking the Imperium just as it had fully recovered from having to rebuild itself as a splinter of the former millions of worlds Imperium of Man, and was prepared to begin a campaign of conquest to reclaim old territory.

Now, it would appear, that the Imperium would be hit first...and this would be the true test of their recovery. If they were ready to test the might of their eternal enemies and rise like a phoenix to reclaim old glory...or to be destroyed and become a shattered relic of an age long past.

the Hyperborians were not pleased with the probes being destroyed. But what they got from them was good for them. The Invasion would start soon, making sure that the enemy would see the coming of the Hyperborian Horde. The Khanate was now planning for the Invasion of Scrinthia's territory.

and This time, the Milky Way would see a changed Hyperborian Khanate. The Hyperborians had changed Tactics and leaders. A new Grand Khan ruled The Hyperborians. The red haired human-like Hyperborian was now ruleing The Hyperborian Khanate, since Alexandria was killed by the Imperials. The Hyperborians had also changed their Culture, The Caste System was gone, thrown out by Ayame. Now to fill the Warriors, Drafts and recrutements were done to make sure the Khanate had enough troops for the Wars of Conquest, also they Forced conquered raced to give them their bestto fight for them.

Warrior-races taken over by The Hyperborians were still the elites of the Khanate's Armies and Starfleet, The old conquered races or those that joined the Hyperborians were still around, The Minotaurs, The Vixenians, The Ba'shan and others that were with the Hyperborians when they Invaded the SWG were still around also.

Also, The Hyperborians were moving away from walkers, now they were going with Repulserlift and Wheeled Vehicles.

This was when the Hyperborians to make their mark on The Galaxy.

Soon, The start of it was to begin.

At the world of Tekai-San, 12 Rin-Shi Cruisers, 10 Dama-Yu Light Destroyers and 7 Con-Ai Corvettes were ready to start one Tactic that the Hyperborians had made.

Attacking enemy fleets in Deep Space, away from star systems.

the Small Fleet was to be the vanguard of the Invasion Force, for more Fleets would come into Scrinthian Space to engage the enemy fleets in deep space.

The small fleet soon jumped into Hyperspace, heading for enemy Territory.

While The Small Task Force was being sent to attack enemy ships. Another Fleet was being readied for another Mission: Invasion.

the Invasion Force was being massed on the World of Rebulia, one of the many worlds taken over by The Hyperborians before this new attack started. The Hyperborians were unleshing their forces on the Known Galaxy, starting with Scrinthia.

on Rebulia, 500,000 Warriors were Marching on to Transports, 500 large Drinkalis-Masiau Class Transport Attack Ships, Large Ships made for landing on worlds and sending out Troops into battle, along with their Vehicles.

and Their Vehicles were grand. Hyperborian Calvary rode on Horse Droids, Speeder Bikes and Swoop Bikes. Rolling on to the Large Transports, was a Armored Treaded Vehicle, The Giant Behemoths were Heavy Armed and Armored, rolling on ten Spiked Wheels.

Floating on Repulserlift, Battle Skiffs, maned by ten Hyperborians and armed with a Mediem Laser Cannon escourted a Giant Land Destroyer, a Large Repulserlift Vehicle that was in fact, a Destroyer.

The Transports were soon filled and lifted off to join the Invasion Fleet, which soon jumped into Hyperspace for The enemy worlds.

The world of Katar was one of the colonies that the Hyperboreans had scouted out and had become the first target of their advance. It was a moderate world, with warm days and cool nights. It had a nice economy going, currently agricultural with industry being build up as the years went by. It had a garrison of Imperial Guard, a full regiment, the Katarian Bulldogs, to guard it and a small patrol of ships in the area to protect it. But it would not be able to resist a full scale onslaught, unless the enemy made some mistakes or it received reinforcements.

And in the planet's orbit, there was a group of orbitals. They were the first of the defenses built for the planet, and while they would not be able to hold back a determined force, they were capable of holding back pirates and the like. Among them, they had a few sensor stations. One of them detected a strange series of disruptions on the border of their system. He sent a message to the planetary governor, whom looked it over and then told them to send a call to any nearby ships to come into the system. With the recent buildup of ships to begin reconquering the Imperium, their alien foes must have caught on. He also readied the planet's defenses just in case and prepared for an attack.

The Katar System.

The Hyperborian Attack Fleet soon Dropped out of Hyperspace. they were soon on their first Mission: destroy the enemy Orbital Defenses to prepare for the Invasion Force.

The Commander of the Fleet was Jubal Noyan, One of Ayame's Commanders, he looked out at The Orbital Defenses. "Destroy them all!" he ordered.

The Ships soon started Fireing Turbolasers and Missiles against the enemy Orbital Defenses. Plasma from the Rin-Shi Cruisers speed from The Cruisers Main Guns for the enemy Defenses.
