...Follows a statement from the joint houses of government of Kitteria.

As of 00:00hrs today Kitteria declared by unaminous act of the joint houses of the lower house and the house of lords was declared a Protectorate to rescue our nation from corrupt and ineffectual leardeship.
The speaker of the House of Lords was elected Lord Protector acting in stead of the Monarchy in a role of Figurehead and representative abroad. The Prime minister remains as head of government and along with the cabinet holds responsability for all forigen and domestic poilicies and actions.
The rule of law still applies any citizen committing any crime will be delt with in the usual manner by fair trial by peers.
The military remains loyal to the state.
The regent who had held power has been removed to his country estate where he is to remain as a private citizen for the duration of the Protectorate however long it may last.
we assure all our neighbours and the world at large we are still stable our economy strong by issuing of new coinage to restore fiancial faith, and military forces are secure.

The Protectorate Follows the 17th Century English Model by a Member of the houses of Parliament acting in the place of the Monarch eg. Oliver Cromwell

further to this we are seeking aliences and considering opening our borders to freign forces for mutual purposes

The nation of Kitteria and our nation have a strong alliance that has been formed and our nation is open to alliances and we would like to set up embassies in any nation that is not hostile to us.

OOC: Maybe you misunderstand, a protectorate is a country which is protected by another larger country. A protectorate is not ruled by someone who carries the title of "Protector" (but I see why you would think that).

prehaps i best specify we are more like an inter regnum untill a new form of goverment is elected/installed we have mad alliances for our protection

Kitteria we would like it if your nations military could occupy our nation. This may sound odd but we need to establish further relations and we have set up a base in your nation. And you could be the first to build an embassy in our nation because we have a green zone that has been deemed safe by the WA inspectors.

To tell you the truth our government is considering bombing the small island off the coast of our nation in order to retrieve five SAM missiles stolen by the EL Guerilla forces. We need a bomber plane to use as we have not developed them yet. Would any nations consider letting us commandeer a bomber?
