Invasion of a Galaxy (FT) Need one player to invade
Ok since I am trying to get my nation started strong, I need to get a nation, who is not so noobish and has some experience, to invade the Galaxy I inhabit. I need only one player to invade however many more may join to help liberate my galaxy. The rules are:
No Unbeatable fleets. The invader only needs around 2000 ships, same for the rest.
No unbeatable characters
No destroying planets. (If your ship has a superlaser thats fine. Just allow it to destroy ships.
In the end I would like to win, but I will not destroy the enemy. The enemy will be badly damaged and leave. Also its okay if your race has special 'powers' just no DBZ-like fighting. Other than that I'm ok with anything. You may enter the Galaxy however you wish. Also don't worry about pop count. That gets really annoying as an FT nation.
All you have to do is give be a quick bio on your race, and the name of your civilization. At the moment you do not have to post fleet info, but if things get confusing I will ask for it.
This is the IC thread so if you want an OOC thread let me know. I'll post info on my race in a moment.
The Republic of Repto
Biology and Appearance
The Reptoids were a humanoid species that lived in the jungles of Repto. They are 7 feet tall. Reptoids do not have gender; they reproduce by copying themselves through a mitosis-like process. Their bodies are elastic which gives them the ability to stretch up to 100 feet with any body part. They also have exactly 2 hearts, making them hard to kill. All Reptoids had horns though how many was completely random.
During the copying process in which a Reptoid makes a copy of itself, the new Reptoid gets the knowledge and skills that the original had at the time. Even though they are copies, they still have individual personalities and thought processes. A Reptoid can live 200 years and in that time make 130 copies of themself. When a new Reptoid enters the world its age is 0. Another cool ability the Reptoids have is their ability to integrate dead bodies into themselves. Once completed the Reptoid will know everything that the deceased person knew and have all of their skills. This means that the Reptoid race is constantly changing and is never the same. Living bodies can be forced into the process but this is more difficult to do.

OOC: Er, well, generally you negotiate this sort of thing by telegram if you want a war, or hop on board a thread similar to this that is already happening. Thing is, most people want to play their own nations, with the stuff they've worked months or years to acquire. Most people here are reluctant to pick up a role thats totally unrelated to their nation, unless special circumstances are at hand. o.O Ask around amongst nations your size, see who wants to slug it out over some territory, you'll probably get more people interested that way than an "lolinvade me but i win anyway" sorta thing.

OOC: Well they can have it anyway they want. I said I would like to win, but if circumstances prove different then so be it. Besides a lot of people are doing this.
ooc: three flaws in your plan. One you are a new small nation i think, two you coudlnt win that war as most empires have large populations and small navies giving them an edge, threemost empires in this FT world usually attack when shot first.

OOC: Thats why I said more people could join. So I could have allies against the invader.

OOC: I think this should serve as a signup and OOC thread actually. Now here comes the interesting part of my nation, Greywatch is essentially a split-off from a place called New Heaven. I've mentioned this on occasion in a few other threads. Now, I don't do a lot with New Heaven, I've been considering making it a puppet or simply RPing as it under the same name, anyway, they are very imperialist and expansionist. Greywatch tries to stay out of their affairs which means that theoretically I could play as them and attack you. Of course Greywatch wouldn't invervene in the conflict, unless of course you absolutely needed them to though I'd prefer not to fight myself.
