We in CM would like to re-establish diplomatic and economic relations. This entire incident has gone overboard because of a simple misunderstanding, and has gone on for FAR to long. Please, come to a diplomatic meeting at the Senatorial chambers at 10:00 o clock AM, July 7th, for negotiations regarding diplomatic and economic ties.

"As we cannot be guaranteed safety," one Politburo member recited to the secretary, "We cannot agree to attend a meeting within your nation. We are not even convinced of the cordiality of your government-"

"Scratch that last part," another member said. "That's too accusatory."

"Hrm...I guess you're right, comrade...scratch that."

"Is it even worth it?" asked another member.

"Well, we were invited, so we have to at least reply."

At this time, the Commonwealth is not willing to pursue negotiations within your country. Previously, our diplomats have been met with hostility, even by members of your own senate. As we cannot be guaranteed safety, we cannot agree to attend a meeting within your country.
