Sarah Andover, an innocent, is to be executed tomorrow at noon. Sarah Andover is the sister of Alex Andover, the suicide-bomber responsible for the Summer-time Attack on Congress just over one year ago. Essex Court Judge Harvard issued the decree only three hours ago. No more information is currently available.

this is an outrage! an innocent citizen should not be executed for the crimes of their sibling.Ameriganastan lends this woman our support,and will try to find a way to stop this murder.

This is a bloody outrage! Just because she is the sister of a suicide bomber doesn't mean you have the right to setence her to death. We demand that you release her and drop the charges.

Salzland will happily extend an offer of asylum to Ms. Andover, and pay for the associated transportation costs, if the government of Fruits of the Plague would prefer to avoid an international incident sparked by the execution of what even its government labels an "innocent" individual.

We strongly urge your government to accept this proposal, as your nation can only benefit from it. Your legal system will remain upheld, as you can certainly claim that you have exiled the young woman as punishment, your government will not have to pay any costs associated with removing Ms. Andover from your country, and you will not risk creating any sense of international ill will towards your very small nation.

The government of Salzland also wishes to add that it will fully utilize every tool at its disposal to keep the horrifying treatment of this individual (Ms. Andover) at the forefront of international attention until it is resolved, one way or another.

General Hardcastle, the Senior Officer of the Adjucating Council of The Militarized Zone expressed on behalf of his nation their utter outrage at this travesty of justice. The nation that calls it'sefl the Fruits of the Plague is no better than terrorist themselves. Sentencing an innocent to death simply because of a familial relationship is inhumane, unjust, and completely unworthy of any nation or it's government claiming to be civilized.

We stand beside Salzland, Lynion, and Ameriganastan. We second Salzlands most noble and generous offer and will gladly share in the costs of this action. If for some reason she would prefer a different nation of 'exile' we gladly offer our sunny islands with their pristine beaches and lush tropical mountains.

We gratefully accept the generous offer made by The Militarized Zone, and heartily accept their proposal to shelter Ms. Andover should she wish to reside in a nation other than Salzland.

Our government believes it is only fair to mention, however, that our plans at the moment include a significant security deployment in order to assure Ms. Andover's safe extraction. As the government of the Fruits of the Plague has shown a preference for heavy-handed actions against its own innocent civilians, we are strongly concerned that any effort to remove Ms. Andover, even with the government's "approval," could be met with violence. Though our intelligence services (AKA NSTracker) indicate that Fruits of the Plague maintain no standing military and only minimal law enforcement personnel, we feel that it would be prudent to proceed with caution, and a strong enough force to deter violence.

As such, transportation will be conducted by helicopter (pending the government of Fruits of the Plague's approval), with a squadron of F-37 Fighters providing escort. Accompanying Ms. Andover on the helicopter, and providing ground security before her arrival, will be a detachment of Salzland Defense Force Marine Special Forces. Additional ground, aerospace and naval forces (which will not be publicly disclosed for security reasons) will be present in the region to ensure all goes well with the transfer of custody.

Since Salzland is planning such a large deployment, we feel it would be unfair to ask The Militarized Zone to help us foot the bill for all of these forces. We graciously would accept a contribution, if you still wish to aid us, for one half (1/2) of the fuel costs incurred for the escort squadron of twelve (12) F-37 Fighters and one (1) transport helicopter. This contribution would amount to roughly $500 Universal in fuel cell usage and fusion reactor fuel degradation.

"Sir, Sir you have to read this." Said the assistant just before handing him a peice of paper. Timtohy looked over the paper before handing it to his wife. He was about to say something when his wife began.

"This is outrages they're going to kill her because of her families crime, uncivilized animals. Do something Tim." She said in a very angry tone. "I will honey." he said to re-assure her. He then looked toward his assistant. "Other nations have offered asylum?" He asked.

"Yes, the nations of Salzland and The Militarized Zone have both offered asylum." Replied the assistant. "Well then "Suggest" to Fruits of the Plague's goverment that it would be smart to accept one of these offers." said Timothy, his wife smiled. The assistant nodded his head and left the room.

People screamed from behind the fences. Hate; for her, for her brother, for the people who sentenced her.

All around was desert. Far away enough from the city to be suited for execution. The blank concrete square was surrounded on all sides by high chain link fences laced with razor wire.

In the center was Sarah, drenched in gasoline and bound to a wooden post. Sarah herself was unconscious. Most likely beaten into that state. Her face was bloodied and bruised. Lacerations ran down her arms and legs. Only a meek gray cloth was draped over her.

A PA system crackled to life.

"Ms. Sarah Andover of Essex. . . You have been sentenced to burn alive at the stake. . . for a crime against humanity. . . by Essex Court. . . May God have mercy on your soul."

A spark ignited.

I have been instructed by both houses of the Salzland legislature to forward the following to the Fruits of the Plague, as well as all other concerned nations.


The Salzland House of Representatives and High Council Assembled,

Meeting in Special Session on this, the 6th of July, in the Common Era Year of 2008,

Do NOTE The Following:

1.) The announcement of the Fruits of the Plague to execute a Ms. Sarah Andover, admittedly an innocent civilian, at twelve o'clock noon, local time, of the day immediately following;

2.) The overwhelming international condemnation of the government of the Fruits of the Plague's plans to impose capital punishment upon Ms. Andover, though she be neither charged with or found guilty of committing any crime;

AND

3.) The willingness of additional nations to utilize military force in a punitive manner should Ms. Andover's execution be carried out.

Do Hereby RESOLVE:

1.) That the President of Salzland should order the Salzland Defense Forces to immediately institute a full sea, air and land blockade of the nation of the Fruits of the Plague if Ms. Sarah Andover is not immediately released from custody and allowed to depart the country for a nation of her choosing;

2.) That the Salzland Defense Forces, operating in conjunction with any and all additional nations willing to commit forces, are hereby authorized to conduct precision military strikes against the government of the Fruits of the Plague beginning promptly at 12:01 PM of the day of execution, unless either Ms. Sarah Andover is released from custody or the government of the Fruits of the Plague agrees to postpone the execution of aforementioned Ms. Andover indefinitely, with the goal of releasing her to a country of her choosing;

AND

3.) That the Salzland Defense Forces are hereby authorized to use any and all weaponry and personnel available to this nation to carry out said actions.

The Government of Kahanistan wishes to intervene in this outrageous miscarriage of justice. Actions against the families of suicide bombers have been tried in the past, and were decried not only for their injustice but for encouraging more people to become suicide bombers.

We have long ago moved away from such barbarities. Fruits of the Plague, it seems, has not. As we are bound by treaty with Praetonia not to wage aggressive warfare without seeking permission, we cannot intervene directly. However, we do offer to loan four F-34 Gilgamesh (http://www.forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13760650&postcount=28) sixth generation air superiority fighters to Salzland, as we would like to see them tested in actual combat before expanding production of such expensive warplanes. This should not be construed as endorsement of unwarranted aggressive behaviour.

We heartily thank the government of Kahanistan for their support of this ever-growing international coalition effort, as well as the generous offer of four F-34 Fighters.

As our intelligence services (AKA NSTracker) indicate that the Fruits of the Plague maintain no standing military, we are uncertain as to whether Air Superiority fighters will be necessary, but regardless Salzland will happily deploy these fighters in the early stages of any possible offensive operations, and will gladly pay all costs associated with their operations (fuel, armaments and other expendables, etc.) as well as provide maintenance personnel and pilots, to avoid compromising the Kahanistan government's solemn pledge to shun offensive wars.

Should the F-34s engage in combat operations, all technical information gathered will be immediately transmitted to your government.

On behalf of our allied nation, TMZ, and all the nations of the Fatal Terrain nation, we will gladly assist in what ever way needed to assure the safe and expedient recovery of Ms. Sarah Andover. On behalf of Salzland we graciously accept your offer of assistance and co-ordination, and are instructing a military attache to hand-deliver the co-ordinates of our Black Ops "Rally Point Delta" as a potential location to link-up and direct allied efforts at resolving this situation.

In the Salzland Defense Forces, Black Ops-certified units are specific, publicly identified forces, differentiated from Special Forces and standard military units.

Example: First Regiment SDF, Black Ops-certified, vs. First Regiment SDF Marine Special Forces.

OOC: Respectfully, you've been on the boards posting at various points during the day, according to your profile, so not responding is your responsibility. If you're going to post an international incident, then ignore it for 24 hours while posting in other forums on this site, then you've had more than enough time to "catch your breath" and participate.

IC: A military response is certainly only being considered as a last resort. Ideally, either myself or one of the other nations offering asylum would happily transport Ms. Andover to our territory and so resolve the matter.

That is a thin line that has been crossed, and it will certainly be a major motivator for what is known as dogpile. Just pretending nobody cared and going normally isn't going to earn any "we respect your national sovereignty" points.
