Renewable Energy Charter

As a nation boasting huge amounts of hydro-energy it has become apparent to us and other nations too that we need to take action and reach a sensible level of renewable, 'green' energy.

There is to be a Renewable Resource Seminar taking place at Feninias premier entertainment stadium, all nations are invited.

Oil is quickly running out, we need to think of the future generations here, forward thinking is the best thinking.

I find, generally speaking if course, that the oil is usually only running out and in need of replacement due to whacky environmentalists trying to stop drilling in every place they possibly can.

For this reason, I long ago decreed oil drilling as Vital to Romandeos's National Interest. Nobody messes with the drilling companies now, and we have the oil necessary to keep ourselves going. We still have to import petrol, mind, being large as we are, but not as much as we did before.

Responsible use of coal, couple by cleansing and emmisions reduction tech, is highly effective as well.

Nuclear-based energy is always good, too, used properly of course.

We would be willing to send somebody to this seminar, however, just to keep in touch with modern developments.

ASoil has no problem with procuring oil for sale, either via renewable means such as Algae Oil, or by drilling for fossil fuels.

Is there a renewable energy which involves large amounts of labour toiling nearly endlessly helping with thier opprosession. If so count Purnelia in.

Your proposal, while good on paper, would cause the collapse of the economies of many nations. Renewable energy is expensive in many places, and the technology sometimes untested. Large solar or wind farms also take up more area then some nations have available (like mine... island nation though so I'm entirely running on hydro). as such we will no support your charter. If you wish to make your green world a reality, please do not do it with charters, rather give countries the means to increase their standard of living and technology to make the local production of renewable energy a feasible option when producing power.
