OOC: Well, I've decided to elaborate on recent CM history. CM's first battalion has a nasty habit of intervening in foreign wars to keep their skills sharp, and I want to see any nations who are willing to participate in a few top-secret incidents in one of their past wars (Try to keep it within the 20th century). I thought it'd make for some interesting incidents.

Nation:
Government type at time of secret intervention:
Time of intervention:
Name of conflict:
Tech Level for the time period(Above average, far above average, etc,):

Keep in mind that around WWII CM was in the 1980's tech-wise in the army. The exception being that they still hadn't adopted Automatic rifles, or rockets/nuclear weapons of any kind.

I'll take part

Nation: The United Federal States of Ustio North (At the time, The Republic Of Ustio North)
Government type at time of secret intervention: Democracy
Time of intervention: 1950's-ish
Name of conflict: Whatever you want to call it.
Tech Level for the time period: I'd have said above average.

As far as the tech goes, it would have been in the style of the PS3 game Resistance: Fall Of Man. So, carbines, V-22 Osprey-style helicopters etc.

See this for a bit of info on Fall Of Man (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resistance_fall_of_man)

I know about it, don't woory. As long as you aren't using the Chimera's tech, I'm fine ;). But you need a name. CM would be intervening in an already going conflict. A civil war maybe?

Lol, no i'd be using the sort of tech the Humans have.

Yeah, a civil war would be okay.

The Ustian Civil War (1945 - 1952)

Is that OK? I'll integrate it into my current history later.

Fine then. The IC thread won't start for a little bit, so I can let more people join in.

Since it's a Civil War, have they joined the Government or the Rebels?

Rebels.

Ok. I'll say that the war was won by the rebels, who overthrow the government of the time.

Here's what i wrote. Obviously, it's from my nations Perspective. In your perspective, you might add more detail on the First Battalion's involvement in the battle

May, 1952: Revolution - Reinvented. Six months after the Battle Of Hydria, the Resistance Army was back to it's original strength, and was poised to march on the capital once more.

However, this time their ranks were bolstered with The Conservative Morality's First Battalion. With a proper military unit on their side, the Resistance was an unstoppable force during the march on Hydria. Led once again by Arthur Foulke, the Resistance smashed the Army defending Hydria, and headed for the President's seat of power, The House Of Knights.

Arthur was first into The House Of Knights, and he confronted John Mordred, offering a final chance to surrender. Mordred refused, instead opting to engage Arthur in battle. Mordred fought Arthur in the old throne room, where the king of Ustio once sat. In the end, Arthur mortally wounded Mordred, who lay dying on the King's throne. But, in a final act of malice, Mordred threw his sword as Arthur and the Resistance were leaving. It struck him square in the back, piercing his heart. He died on the spot he stood. His closest friend Daniel, and his son, Constantine, took him to the mountain Alavon, and he was buried within the mountain's deep caverns. Constantine was named the next President, and he ruled for 10 years, when he was killed in an air crash.

Well, one problem. I don't want them to be going for the whole war. A single battle to keep their wits about them. So maybe attacking during a major battle and turning the tide before pulling out in their grand carrier Zeppelins?

Oh yeah, i got that they were only in for one battle. What i'd written about is the final battle in 1952 when they win the war and overthrow the Government.

Though, if you're in the battle secretly, I think carrier Zeppelins might be a bit of a give away ;) Since Johnny Reb wouldn't have that sort of equipment.

OOC:True, but then again, total annihilation usually happens with the first battalion...

The basics of this is that a rouge group, still no one knows where they came from, tried to assassinate the Council by breaking into the Council residence late at night. The group but the incident was still kept a secret, this was shortly after the Forbidden Ministry had been formed.
