Official Communique from Alekzander Stanislau, Interm General-Chairman of Ibevan
To Whom it May Concern:
As of 12:01 am July 3rd, after a long struggle, the Free People's of Ibevan have seized control of the last remaning imperial garrison in Troletka. As accourding to the wishes of the people, the heads of the deposed ruling government and few remaining members of the loyalist army have been exiled, incarcerated, or executed. The Empire of Ibevan has ceased to exist, and any and all diplomatic, economic, or military ties it had will be immediatly severed.
An Interm government has been put in place, led by me, in order to create a government that will best reflect the wishes of the people. The first act of this government will be to nationalize any and all privatly owned buisness, followed by an immediate redistribution of wealth.
Unlike the previous government, this shall be a direct democracy. No action will be undertaken unless the people give consent to it. There will be no legislative body. The people will directly introduce and vote on bills using the internet. An executive office will enforce the laws and interpret them. Elections shall be held frequently.
The newly-formed Free People's of Ibevan wish to petition the governments of the world for formal recogntion and any aid they might spare. A long and brutual civil war has drained our country, and without international aid, our people may starve this coming winter. Any aid will be treated as an loan and paid in full when the People are able.
