The TV cuts out, revealing static for a minute, then re-tuning to an Eucaidian TV Anchor desk. The Anchor begins talking non-emotionally.

"We apologize for interrupting your program, but a series of developments have occuried along the Eucaidian-Falkasian border. About a half-hour ago, Falkasian tanks began rolling across the border and into Eucaidian held territory. The cause of such hostilite action is currently unknown, although there is some speculation that the intent of these attacks are to secure the oil-rich region of the Eucaidian Highlands. I take you now to on-the-scene reporter Martin Sambroza. Martin?"

A series of footage is played, showing Falkasian T-72s plowing down a chainlink border fence, a Falkasian Supply Convoy driving down a country road, and a burning Eucaidian tank in the middle of a city. The screen then turns into an image of a sandbag and concrete bunker, hastily constructed in the middle of what looks like a wheat field. A lone man laying on his chest in the middle of the bunker with a microphone in his hand begins to speak as a shell explodes nearby.

"As you can see, the Falkasians have advanced deep into our great country, meeting little organized resistance along the way. All we can hope now is that the army can regroup itself and push them back in time."

Another shell explodes nearby, causing the screen to go static once more.
