Uru, Capital City of Umbranabu
By decree of the great god, Lord Anubis, Umbranabu sends this message to all diplomats and members of this realm. Anubis is willing to listen to any responses.
Umbranabu is a small country that was recently founded by the god Lord Anubis. You may also know him as the god of death. Lord Anubis predicted your pagan scoffs and so he sends the following explanation.
"Many years ago, I went by the name of John Smith. I was born into an average home and lived an average life as a health inspector. I did not have a family. I was not rich or famous. I was merely there. Many times in my pathetic human existence did I consider self-inflicted death. How ironic that Death himself considered such a thing...
The endless monotony I called my life continued on its normal path until I visited an ancient ruin while on leave from my work. While on a guided tour inside, I saw a set of hieroglyphs depicting various gods from the now extinct peoples' pantheon. I found myself entranced by the one with the head of a dog.
The tour guide said he was the god of death and that was when all became clear.
'If only I was god of death,' I had thought, 'Then I could do anything.' Soon an idea sparked 'What if I am the god of death?' Within moments, all doubts were gone. I realized I was the god of death, Anubis, reincarnated to earth to lead these people to an afterlife far better than the one they were in now.
The fools on the tour with me left me when I began to tell them my realization. They believed I was insane. I am not. I knew then who I was and knew I need followers. I turned to the most modern place to find others: the internet.
Soon I had amassed a few million believers to my side and I founded this nation known as Umbranabu. I have ruled ever since. Now I realize that if I intend to spread the word of my true deity to others, I will need to enter terms with other nations so my prophets may preach my word.
And if you do not believe my story, know this. I was born over one-hundred years ago and have not aged a day past thirty. Only one with full control over death could accomplish such a feat.
Believe in Lord Anubis and your life and death shall be glorious."
Lord Anubis requests merely this of other nations. Consider sending an ambassador so we may speak of sending our prophets into your land. Anubis does not believe in war but instead believes in letting others die as they choose. He is willing to bring others to the true way by mere speech.
Also, Lord Anubis wishes to find and join a region that is willing to hear his preaching. His sole request is that all other nations agree to at least consider the truth that he is in fact the god of death.
We at Uru wish to hear soon from other states willing to recognize Umbranabu.
