Bulgislavian Export Drive. Cheap produce and goods for the World!

Bulgislavia
01-07-2008, 12:35
It was announced 2 months ago that Bulgislavia was to undergo an huge EXPORT DRIVE to pay off foriegn debt (built up by Alia's reformist government) and to also enrich the country after the debt is gone.

Starting almost since Ion Milencu's rise to power most of the nations food was horded in state wharhouses ready for export and its caused massive sacrafice, deprivation and a return to rationing for the civilians

Rationing in Bulgislavia back in the 80's and 90's was so harsh no ordinary civilians could tell you what a banana even looked like. Bulgislavia has now returned to that same harsh rationing system

A weekly ration for ONE HOUSEHOLD is
80 grams of butter
one loaf of break
one liter of milk
200 grams of meat
Apples are restricted to only 2 per houshold each week
Banana's and oranges are BANNED as "export fruit"

Electricity is also rationed. The Civilian power grid is only on from the hours of 6:30am - 10:30pm
TV is only on for 2 hours per day
Each household is ONLY permitted 3 light bulbs, no powerful then 45 watts
During the months of December, January and february the use of Washing machines and dryers is banned
gas is also turned off in the month of December and January

Its all in the name of the Bulgislavian Export Drive in which Bulgislavia will enrich the country in the longterm for "short term" hardships

You can decide the exchange rate between your national currency and the Bulgislavian Urmi.

Becuase Bulgislavia is a poor and backwards nation our currency is quite weak compared to richer nations and so Importing goods from my nation would benefit you

so to all nations interesting in flooding thier stores and supermarkets with goods and produce from Bulgislavia just type in how many units of what you want and I'll get back to you as soon as I can with the Price in Urmi's and then you can convert it to your currency

If you know anything about Consumer goods in a communist nation you know they are off poor or crappy quality. Bulgislavian car tyres burst within weeks of installing them, appliances always break down and other consumer goods are just crap which is why the products like toasters and blenders are so cheap. Nothing is wrong with the produce but if you want cheap, crap products too your wlcome to buy them.

Excellent. We confirm and approve your importation of Bulgislavian agriculture and meats.
This deal so far makes you our Biggest buyer of Bulgislavian products and one of our biggest trading partners.

I have deducted what you have brought from what it available for example we have 400,000 units of wheat but you are importing 100,000 meaning there is now only 300,000 units of wheat up for export.

Thank you for the trade deal

Official Diplomatic Communique
From the Office of Foreign Secretary Sir Neil Jaeger, Federated Union of Democratic Colonies
To the Office of Ion Milencu or appointed representative, The People's Republic of Bulgislavia

While the Democratic Colonies is quite interested in the goods available for export from your fair nation, our government would also like to express some concern for the citizens of Bulgislavia. While we understand the decision to ration goods in the face of economic hardship, we find it difficult to accept that a single loaf of bread, a single litre of milk, and 200 grams of meat can provide for an entire household for an entire week.

We urge the Government of Bulgislavia to carefully recalculate its rationing system, while also filling the following order if possible:
- 30,000 units of cabbage
- 25,000 units of potatoes
- 25,000 units of wheat
- 20,000 units of corn
- 15,000 units of beef
- 2,000 units of squid

For a total of Ç7,465,000, or $656,264 USD, or DC$343,792 at the current exchange rate (http://nstracker.jfsoftware.com/index.php?nation=democratic_colonies&nation2=Bulgislavia&nation3=&nation4=&nation5=&nation6=). Our payment will be in either Universal Standard Dollars or Democratic Colonies Credits, per your preference.

We hope to hear from you soon regarding the preferred currency of our payment, and the results of your further consideration of the current food rationing levels within your nation. Best regards,

Sir Neil Jaeger

We accept your agreement to buy those goods.

We understand your concern. Shortages is a problem our nation has dealt with for decades the Bulgilsvian People have stomaches of elastic and can go for long times with little or not food. The Economy and this export drive will enrich the nation. Most households contain someitmes 2 families living in the small flats but the society is very sharing and so smaller households learn to share with bigger households the Great Comrade Leader and his team of economists have predicted there will be no famine

The Economy is doing fine and Bulgislavia is fine
