The Racine 82-series Farm King represents the zenith of Armed Republic agricultural design and incorporates several advances, from the standard auto-steer and field monitoring system to its advanced drive train components. The 82-series Farm King is an articulated four wheel/track drive tractor specifically developed to fulfill the high-horsepower, hydraulic-intensive operations necessary in the modern, high-acreage farm. The 82-series represents several models based on a common or slightly altered frame, from the wheeled 300 HP 8230 to the behemoth tracked 1000 HP 8299 SuperTrac. The most popular 82-series, however, is the 8260 TerraTrac.

Autosteer: Advanced integrated autosteer and field mapping/monitoring software and hardware with one adjustable multifunction display allow for the Farm King 82-series to use satellite guidance to provide hands-free operation [contour guidance, straight-guidance, custom guidance] and maps each field allowing for custom seed-, fertilizer-, and chemical-rates depending on soil conditions, altitude, etc. Satellite receiver located on upper cab. Depending on signal, accuracy within ten centimeters.
FieldView: Optional add-on provides a "heads-up display" to the operator, presenting the auto-steer track, ground speed, RPM, fuel level, and other custom displays to be projected on the front windscreen. Automatic and manual dimming for day/night operation. Also allows for way-point viewing [such as highlighting a drainage ditch or wash-out], and if used with the FieldNetwork system, can display ground stations, other tractors, vehicles, etc. using a chevron symbol including selected information such as ground speed, seed level, etc. of the other vehicle.
Radio: AM/FM/CD with auxiliary input jack and 4 speakers. Radio located in upper area of cab accessible with the right hand of the operator
Climate Control: Heating and Air Condition with a custom temperature selector to maintain a constant temperature; defroster/defogger

8299 Farm King SuperTrac

The SuperTrac, in place of the rear-mounted fuel tank, has another 500 HP powerplant. The fuel tank is moved to two saddle tanks on either side of the cab and the rear section and provides similar fuel capacity to the previous versions.

Why Tracks Over Wheels?

The TerraTrac tractors are specifically built to better transfer their power to the ground, and, compared to similar wheeled tractors, do it with less ground pressure and thus less compaction, which is necessary if the TerraTrac is intended to operate an air seeder or operate over ground intended to be planted. The track system, and its design, allow for greater maneuverability over uneven and soft surface while disturbing the soil less than other tracked tractors [specifically, those with two tracks]. The sprocketed drive wheel positioned well above the ground, is not effected by mud, water, and other elements while in operation and will not slip unlike two-tracked tension-type tractors.

The Island Empire of Barronia's request for the stated number of 82-series Farm King tractors has been confirmed. We have conferenced with our Racine Dealer Network, and have begun locating and preparing to ship a portion of your order immediately. The bulk of the order, however, will have to be produced at our factories. These units will be shipped, as they are produced, via container ship in a stripped format. We will provide technicians and engineers as required to help you assemble them and instruct you in their proper use, maintenance, etc.

Further, we ask that in order for your 82-series Farm King tractors be properly maintained and serviced that you allow our Racine Dealer Network to expand into Barronia. This is not an attempt at your sovereignty, nor an attempt at interfering with your market and economy, but rather allowing your own agricultural equipment dealers and marketers to join our Racine Dealer Network. This will certify those dealers and marketers as being able to service, maintain, rebuild, repair, and sell Racine equipment and parts. Thus, your civilians, your government, and any other entity interested will be able to further procure 82-series Farm King tractors in addition to any of the other agricultural equipment we market and produce. Furthermore, with the Racine Dealer Network, parts and equipment can be found locally or internationally via our information networks, and your purchased tractors can be readily, and locally, maintained without contacting our corporate offices. All this costs is a small franchise fee to be paid for by the interested companies and training by our Higher Education Association of the Armed Republic-recognized Racine School of Mechanics, Engineering, and Service. All training and schooling is provided free-of-charge to Racine Dealer Network-employed peoples and can be done either at our campuses or online/at-the-place-of-employment.

OOC: Indeed list Skibereen as importing an intial run of about 5,000,000 various tractors. Then a sustaining annual order of about 500,000 a year. Being the number 1 imported tractor in the nation.
