Declaration of War

As approved per referendum with 77.41% of votes for, the Confederacy of Third Spanish States, through the will of its people expressed in direct and truly democratic means, declares war against the People's Republic of Spain, with the primary goal of securing its sovereignty and the freedom of its people, and the secondary goal of detaining a long train of crimes against mankind that has occurred for more than thirty decades and to unify the Spanish people after the second civil war, ridding the world of an stalinist and pseudo-communist scourge and liberating seventy-million of human beings from one of the most brutal, inhuman and tyrannical regimes of mankind history. Finally, this war also has as a final motivation the goal of abolishing the human slave trafficking that is promoted by their illegitimate government.

CASUS BELLI

Several information sources have indicated a major buildup of military forces by the República Popular Española since May of this year, with massive logistics supply chains being established and several transport vessels being seized for military use in what is beyond a shadow of doubt a preparation for an attempt of an amphibious assault against Third Spanish States.

With the completely unjustifiable invasion of Portugal they have done, there is no doubt that the People's Republic of Spain is a rogue government with no regards to national sovereignty which continued existence is a threat to all nearby nations. Such operation was done as a preparation for an attempt to achieve air superiority over Third Spanish States due to the closeness of Portugal military air bases to our island allowing them to have aerial power projection capability even without a proper Navy against the Confederacy.

Finally, undisclosed sources from sympathizers have acquired irrefutable evidence of the intention of the PRS to invade Third Spanish States, for a defector has given us an authentic copy of the war plans of PRS, which is annexed with this document to further legitimate this case.

Other than the immediate threat against our sovereignty, the People's Republic of Spain crimes against mankind have surpassed the brutality of regimes like the Third Reich and Soviet Union under Stalin. First, their brutal campaign of persecutions, purges, death camps, forced submission and conditioning has claimed more than 60 millions of innocent lives, in a genocide which we can no longer tolerate its continued existence. Second, the practice of selling undesirables and individuals conditioned from birth to be will-less submissives as slaves, feeding markets as far away as in extra-planetary locations as Haven. And third, for their major annihilation of human free will on all aspects, an for their efforts of dehumanization that seek to destroy individuality and any glint of will to be free.

OBJECTIVE

The three objectives of this war are to secure the sovereignty of Third Spanish States in face of continued belligerence from PRS and from irrefutable proof of its intents of bringing tyranny, slavery, genocide, misery and oppression to our lands, to overthrow the corrupt, illegitimate, megalomaniac, totalitarian and genocidal government of the Communist Party of Spain, so the people of Spain can have a chance to establish a true democracy and live in freedom, while having a better economical condition than now, so a genocide that claimed more than 60 millions can stop and so the trade of countless millions of slaves conditioned since birth in one of perhaps the most heinous crimes ever done against mankind: the annihilation of free will, can be stopped. And finally, to liberate Portugal and ensure its sovereignty and the freedom of its people, also giving to its people the choice of establishing a direct democracy among others.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Aware that certain nations have guaranteed the independence of the PRS, this declaration also points to the following facts. First, to guarantee the independence of a nation does not equate giving support to aggressive expansionist policy of an illegitimate, corrupt and imperialist government responsible for the death of 60 millions of people and for a major operation of human trafficking. To guarantee the independence of a nation is not to give its current government a safeguard to attack indiscriminately without suffering retaliation. We take a formal compromise that The Confederacy shall not, under any circumstances, annex the nation of Spain under its control or force its people to follow the same ideological choices on politics and economy of Third Spanish States and we shall guarantee that regardless of the aftermath, Spain shall remain as a fully independent nation. However, should any nation who has guaranteed the independence of PRS intervene to support their invasion against the Confederacy, this declaration of war shall automatically extend to them.

Finally, as a final notice, in something we hopefully expect to not happen for the sake of humanity survival in such growingly tense world, any use of any sort of strategic weapon of mass destruction shall be retaliated with extreme prejudice, and any use of tactical WMDs shall be retaliated with tactical WMDs as well. We assume a compromise of not being the first to deploy any form of weapon of mass destruction during the course of this war, except as a deterrent in extreme cases where our sovereignty and freedom can only be maintained through this method, for any invasion against the Confederacy shall result into disastrous consequences for the imperialist

The República Popular Española is saddened by the lies and forgeries created by the rogue nation known as the Confederacy of Third Spanish States to justify to the world nothing more than sheer imperialism driven by capitalist interests disguised into a petit-bourgeois pseudo-socialist ideology, and will dismiss all the unfounded accusations done by the mentioned nation about our foreign policies.

First, for its thirty decades of existence, the RPE has been an extremely isolationist and peaceful nation, respecting the right of its neighbors to maintain their own manners of governance even if we are ideologically opposed to them, but then, since January of 2039, our comisariado de Internet has been monitoring chats and opinions wrote in Third Spanish States websites to notice a sheer number of people wishing for the Confederacy to invade our nation and destroy our legitimate government to bring chaos and destruction across Spain and annihilate its cultural identity, followed by major military buildups to their east and several suspicious "naval exercises" happening in our borders. But in recent months, several false-flag and black operations which origin cannot be confirmed happened against our nation to discredit the government and incite rebellion and bloodshed, and although we have no solid evidence, there is no doubt on who were the responsibles for, among other things, slaughtering both unarmed and armed personell of one of our police headquarters with no mercy or respect for human life, and also killing some of our citizens to put the blame on us. The temporary occupation of Portugal was a measure to prevent the Confederacy from acquiring grounds for an invasion and ensure our own sovereignty, for we have acquired information that points to an unrestricted military access agreement between Portugal and Third Spanish States, and once there is no longer a threat to our own sovereignty, we shall immediately leave our troops from Portugal.

Regarding the supposed invasion plans, first, all the military mobilizations we have done are for entirely defensive reasons, for we expect an amphibious assault by the Confederacy against our land at any moment, and second, the supposed document of a plan attributed to our military to invade the Confederacy is a forgery to justify their imperialist aggression against our sovereignty.

In face of this unjustifiable act of aggression based on lies and forgeries, we ask for the Communist Dominion of Stoklomolvi to honor our agreements and theirs guarantee of independence given to us by offering us naval protection against potential combined arms attacks and further help to modernize our defense forces.

We in the United States of Allanea sympathize greatly with the Confederacy of Spanish States in their efforts against the government of Soviet Spain. While we disagree with some of their definitions of liberty, we realize regardless that the anarchist society of the Confederacy is not inherently oppressive, and whatever minor problems there maybe in the CSS, they do not even come close to the sheer horror of the activities of the Soviets.

Therefore, the Congress of the United States, using the power granted to it by the People, in accordance to the Constitution, has passed (50.9% Aye) the Authorization for the Use of Military Force Against Soviet Spain Act 2008, which has been duly signed by the President-for-Life.

As such, the Department of State hereby now officially warns the Soviets that there's an Allanean CVBG – namely, the 135th, centered around the Lysander Spooner aircraft carrier. The 135th is fully authorized to shoot anything that comes out of your harbors, and their job is to help blockade your pathetic nation.

While the Empire of New Chalcedon dislikes war, we absolutely detest state-engineered human rights abuses. We invite both the CSS and the RPE to send representatives to Constantinopolis Secundus, in order to better enlighten us as to which side we should take in this conflict.

We know better than to offer to mediate a war that has popular support, but if such should change, remember that we are always willing to help maintain peace, in any way that we can.

The naval blockade was solidly assured, and from the official head of State resident, an unkempt apartment at the 90th floor of one of the mixed skyscrapers in the inside of the TdC Confederation Arcology, Cecily Lockhelm was doing the least interesting part of the war, the response to the diplomatic statements related to it. The room was of a cyan painted concrete walls, with a dark blue colored granite floor and an elegant blue chandelier hanging from its ceiling, which contrasted with the air conditioner to the leftmost corner of the wall. It had a clutter of diskettes, misprinted papers someone forgot or was too lazy to put into the litter bin and all sorts of personal belongings poorly organized. One would find it very strange that such was the office of a head of State, but sometimes their disdain of bureaucracy was so great that they mistakenly considered a modicum of organization as a bureaucratic waste of time. Not that it would bother people, considering that it was her house, and that it was her home office and nothing more. Nobody would ever waste their money away with actual official government buildings in the Confederacy, and as the entire government was online, the physical location of its members, or basically, everyone with enough mental capacity to vote, did not matter.

Yawning, she tapped into the keys next to her personal computer, while hoping that would be all for the day. She was hoping to meet with the MilNet management council this day, for they were worried about how to fund the war effort and avoid losses, for wars are wars, business are business, and the MilNet had to conciliate both.

She laughed when she finished reading the reply of New Chalcedon, imagining how theirs and La República's representatives would run against each other's neck in Constantinopolis Secundus, but it was an interesting offer, and allies would not be a bad idea. The Calcutta Communist Contract served as the primary safeguard of their own sovereignty though, for Beth Gellert was one of the first to openly support them, offering expeditionary forces that were yet to arrive from their long travel. After all, capitalists could not be trusted like other fellow libertarian socialists which were much closer ideologically to Third Spanish States.

I have personally read your concerns regarding this recent conflict, and I agree to send a representative to the city of Constantinopolis Secundus, although I personally believe it is completely unnecessary. We have a difference concept of peace, and we refuse to consider that standing idle while dozens of millions suffer, specially dozens of millions who share the same cultural heritage, while countless innocents are murdered ruthlessly, turned into mindless slaves and sold to foreign and equally ruthless powers. To behave in such way is not to stand for peace, to behave in such way, specially when it concerns the same people and culture of your nation split by tyrannical forces, is to be permissive, passive and deserving of defeat, for those who simply bend to tyranny through isolationism originated from fear are calling their doors to be busted by the oppressors.

There is no place in this world for those who simply wait passively while major threats build up, and there never was any place for them. Look at Portugal, who was one of the most isolationist nations of Europe. It does not matter, for specially in these stormy times, nobody cares about the concept of neutrality anymore, and the Geneva Convention is nothing but a joke to be laughed at, spitted at and dumped into a thrash bin like an worthless piece of paper.

To accept peace with the People's Republic of Spain is to openly support their genocidal marsh against our Iberian brothers, to openly support their sale of innocents as slaves, their effort to completely destroy all that makes us human and turn everyone into a domesticated and subservient animal to the Party. And to accept that they will eventually bring their oppressed fist to our home islands. The only manner for us to secure true peace for our people and possibly for the entire western Europe is by defeating such illegitimate, murderous, totalitarian, extremely corrupt and completely inhuman government that is currently holding Spain. We will not passively watch as events unveil that may lead mankind to only one future, like Orwell predicted: the future of a boot stomping an human face, forever.

Most of Europe stood idly and passively while Hitler built his Reich, and what did they win with that? That is what neutrality leads to: passiveness and cowardice in face of some of the greatest crimes against mankind in history. We will not wait for the People's Republic of Spain to become a threat to our freedom, we will not wait for more sixty millions of innocents to be mass murdered. I will be honest on this war, for there is only one acceptable outcome: the complete destruction of the Communist Party of Spain, so its oppressed people can have a chance to establish their free, grassroots social order.

Should we indirectly support this brutal crime against human race by declaring "peace" and consenting with the tragedy of the people of Spain condemned to never have any peace and dignity for the next decades until the eventual collapse of such failed command economy that shall lead to even more misery, suffering and death? Is such action a movement for peace? I am sorry, but we cannot accept such atrocities in the name of a delusional peace, and I speak this not on my behalf, but on the behalf of the people, for only the will of the people through a referendum can accept a peace treaty.

Nonetheless, we will not only bring a representative, but also several proofs of the monstrosities that the República Popular Española has done, the forced pregnancies, the destruction of all individuals freedoms, the mass murders, the death camps. Our representative will have some shocking material with him, but such is the truth, the unfortunate truth about an intellectually and morally bankrupt ideology coming back from its grave that was dug with the rubbles of the Berlin Wall.

And unfortunately, there is no other way to solve this besides war. The corrupt Communist Party will not give away its privileges peacefully or by international pressure alone. We must defeat them to ensure the freedom of our brothers in Spain and Portugal.
