The Peoples Empire of Ralkovia has discovered vast resources on a small island to the east of the Ralkovian mainland. Ralkovia has decided to sell portions of this island off to private companies and nations. Ralkovia will sell one section of this land per company or nation. These plots of land are that country or companies possession until they leave. Resources have been marked on the map and a key has been provided. Land plot costs will vary depending on the resources that are there. Ralkovia will let each company or nation do what they want to the land. They may have troops, weapons, and equipment on the island as long as it does not affect Ralkovia.(that means no NBC allowed)

Ah, but this is where your advantage is: You don't own a plot of land. You have the deed to a town and an oil field in Kiravian territory, but not sovereignty over it. Therefore, you can buy another plot of your very own.

Ooc:okay this is the bidding part. Only bidding, CA members do not have the oppurtunity to just take what they want on this chain of islands. Spaces cost at minimum 300 million(USD). You have to also have a maximum amount that you are willing to spend.


You have to say it before bidding begins, it also has to be within you Nationstates budget in commerce. So if you only have a budget of 2 billion in commerce and the island you want costs 3 billion you can't bid for it.
Island cost will change as more people want certain sectors so pay close attention to your sector because you may be outbid by some other country.



Greywatch I have relatively few problems with sending and recieving telegrams on my Nationstates profile so send me updates on whats happening through there.

Well, in English, (And I'm not a linguist, but I'm guessing it's from Germanic or French influence), we tend to assume the presence of an article before a titular noun, as in The United States of America, or The United Kingdom. In Coscivian, Kirav's alguage group, the same rules do not apply, so the correct translation would simply be "Kiravian Empire", unless being used in a sentance ("The Kiravian Empire did X! X is from the Kiravian Empire"). But of course, it's pretty stupid to expect everyone to know nor care about that, and bitchy to demand corrections, so if you've already written "The Kiravian Empire" on a list, I don't mind, but in Ralkovia's case, I felt a cookie was in order. :)
