Warderland Continues to Evoke Regional Turmoil
Friends, let us be at peace. Warderland intends no harm to other nations. Does it fall to us to preach moral absolutism and tell them how to live and reign? Dystopologica threatens our whole region's stability with its insistence upon pre-emptive military action. Warderland's willingness to form peaceful alliances with all of Hopest's nations surely speaks volumes about their integrity, and with their renewed commitment to civil rights, surely we can bury this hatchet?

Xapiar, our Government's intentions have not been to disrupt stability - rather preserve.
Yes, Warderland's words speak volumes but speech is shallow when compared with actions. Peace is not possible between nations of reason and nations of oppression and dictatorship. There is nothing trustworthy in Warderland's treaty proposals, Dystopologica's foremost international relations minister finds that the state of civil rights and political freedoms to be appalling purely because these are of severe detriment to Warderland's citizens.
Judgement has no varying degree - there is only ignorance and purification. The deceit of Warderland is a blight not only on the citizens of Warderland, but of the entire region too.
Warderland should be forced into utter transparency of government lest they experience the brute force of the combined power of the rest of Hopest. Warderland is hardly committed to civil rights - the shrill screams of it's community suffering at the hands of it's corrupted government speaks greater volumes than it's empty promises.
TO: Warderland
FROM: Kingdom of Lynion, King Ranakin.
Warderland must realise there will never be peace in the world. Nations will band together and form alliances and they will be peaceful, however, as long the motive is inside their leader, they may not be at peace.
Tell what do you intend to place in the treaties? Will it be simple and easy to follow or will it pervoke nations because you so how offended them in the treaty?
Tell me, why don't you place the treaty/treaties you have in mind be sent out to the nations who you think might be interested?
Warderland,
My intentions are wholly peaceful, and let it never be said that I seek harm to your people or your national interest.
Sadly, I see your people being harmed under your punitive regime. While billions are spent on orbital development, your people suffer in fear.
The nations who have banded together against you make reasonable requests, and I hope to strike a synthesis of the various view points.
So let it be agreed:
1.1
That it is in the benefit of all nations of Hopest to maintain and promote international co-operation and dignity. To this purpose, nations must try to resolve disagreements in peaceful, inclusive, and wholesome fashions.
1.2
That, in lieu of a Regional Constitution, we lack concrete grounds on which to morally judge the standards of Warderland's Government
2.1
Let then, discussion on a constitution begin.
2.2
Meanwhile, three demands ought to be made of Warderland:
2.2.1
That their military installations immediately be made open to inspection and international regulation.
2.2.2
That the government commits itself to transparency in its decision making and treatment of its peoples
2.2.3
That, immediately the signing of this treaty, Warderland reviews its attitude towards its people and turns over an new leaf in regard to promotion of civil liberties.
3.1
These things being done, let the disharmony that has been plaguing Hopest be put to rest. These things, once ratified by the nations of Hopest, not being adhered to, amounts to defiance of International Mandate and would necessitate further action.
Discussion of this should begin soon in a separate thread.
