The Setting
The date is July 2008, one of Britain's most boring Prime Minister has stepped down from his post. Parliament has been Prorogued, and Labour will take to the polls for a new leader. Under the Brown Administration, Social Services have improved, at the expense of higher taxes and a large deficit. Labour are going down in the polls, with the Liberals and Tories behind their backs, can New Labour stay in power?
What you RP as?
There are three parties you can join, The Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats and New Labour, who are in Government. The Conservatives are mainly right wingers, while the Lib Dem are Centre-Left while Labour are basically, Democratic Socialist. Basically, you sign up as a Member of Parliament, write bills, take part debates and most importantly, get yourself associated with the press. There might also be a "Personal Life" RP forum where you can RP your character's personal life. There would also be a budget, and an annual budget draft to be done, and in the UK system, the rejection of the budget draft is a vote of no confidence. Other than that, most of the rules and Biography writing details can be found in the off site forum. Also note, this RP is very new, don't expect many players yet! ;)
