--Borlak was the old kingdom of the Krags, founded when the Deathless Horde was destroyed, and Lord Death-on-a-Horse sent scrambling over the Northern Wastes seeking his head--Gemilla looked about, then made a signal over her heart with her right hand.--Old Krag only bore males, and ended up adopting an heir-a common, if dangerous, practice. Many a clan has adopted a female only to have her go into the God Plane and make their clan subordinate to hers by "proving" she was a clan founder all along, legitimizing her claim and advancing her family at the expense of the adopting clan.
--In Krag's case, it was the Lady Tomazusa who was adopted, and administered the lands of Borlak. She seemed a powerful and wise ruler, but fell prey to the Krag curse-her Firstborn was a male, whom she disguised as a Daughter and named Modo.
--Tomasuza winnowed through her land, seeking the most beautiful of women and bringing them to the Castle. There, she subjected them to alchemical practices, now forbidden, and made them toxic. She schooled them in grace and beauty, and adorned them as butterflies, then sent them out as emissaries to poison her rivals and enemies. There were humans, dwarfs, and elves in those days, so her plan had success there-trolls are immune to poison unless it's based in light or fire. She staffed her castle with these venomous beauties, who were the Daughters of Borlak-exemplars of grace and beauty, with Death in their breath and skin. When Borlak was destroyed, the Daughters supposedly survived, and still roam the region in their finery. They are elegantly dressed and intensely beautiful, and their very presence is death—
--She was powerful, and the Krags followed her blindly. When she became pregnant again, they sealed her up in the tall tower and tossed her tons of meat. Krags still do this, not trusting their women to survive the Madness that overtakes us in pregnancy and the wilderness. While she was incapacitated, the aldryami of the Redwood Forest attacked-they were servants of the Empire of Unity, and while Unity forces assaulted southern Borlak, the aldryami crept out of the East Woods and torched the Castle.
--The story told is that the Lady Tomasuza walked out onto the parapet, her son by her side, her newborn in her arms, and saw Borlak Castle in flames. Her rage knew no bounds, and she spoke a Dread Curse-against Rufelza for drawing Borlak forces off, against the aldryami for burning her and her son, and even against the trolls for not defending her. She vowed vengeance before the fire cleansed the world of her foulness, taking her and her spawn.
--The Krags still hold a memorial for her and her son on the anniversary of the burning of Borlak, and the ruins of her castle still stand high over the land there. They say that when the moon is new and all the stars have gone to bed, the old castle rears high into the night, and the vengeful spirits of Tomasuza and Modo howl from the parapets--Gemilla held up some leather swatches.--It is a sad story, from a sad time-Borlak did not deserve it's fate, though Tomasuza certainly did-her name is synonymous with forbidden lore and depravity.—
Her voice was a whisper on the night wind, laden with the Logos, the core concepts, intrinsic Reality, as it stretched forth... Power and Command, Adamantine will backing it, a wellspring of implacable power.
"Potent indeed was her curse, and potent indeed was her power, and it has not gone, has not returned to the ALL. Lurking patiently, unseen, unsensed... waiting for but the plum to ripen."
"Warrior Maid, Mother, Crone and She Who Is Unseen, all hold sway in their Rightful Time, forming the Wheel of Birth, Growth, Wisdom and Transformation. Each giving way in Turn as is meet, and thus Balance is preserved."
"Abomination she was, Abomination she remains, but I say this ...the Moon turns her face from that One, and ever shall the moon's light reveal her hand, her workings, and her creatures for the perversions they are. When the moon's light lays upon the land she will find no succor, no safe haven."
So Mote It Be
Slowly Indigo's hands came up, but the tiniest space apart, interweaving but not touching in series of elegant flowing moments- as with the dance of fingers continued ... power formed, grew, and became manifest, a glowing sphere of moonlight condensing into potent sorcery.
Then as her forefingers touched the orb flashed outward, ringing through Reality as Indigo declared that One, and all her works, Enemy. One against whom she would ever stand in opposition. Implacable, Unyielding, a war that would have no end until one or the other was obliterated. Time and Realm being no boundary.
And on the High Planes of Heaven itself the vast bronze Jinja no Dou Suzu, the first creation of the OmiKami and voice of the Gods, pealed with a harmonic that resonated though the All There Was.
The Will and the Word....
And so began an enmity that spans the stars. And now we may see the first chapter of its ending…
Lady Tomazusa has sent her assassin to remove the Empress Indigo Noor from the face of the Universe. But she had not reckoned with the interference of others, and Indigo still lives, and the Hunt is on….

The Queen in Yellow…
Yeah I know she probably doesn’t wear yellow, and technically it is theKing in Yellow but, this will stand as notice that we are hunting Chaos, and it will hunt us in turn. None faint hearted or unskilled should apply.
There really are only a limited number of openings as many of the parts to be played have already been taken… Please TG me with any questions or post them here.
This is set in Future Tech, and the Force, Psionics, Majik and the Gods will all make their appearances here in.
Me - of course I have a hound in this hunt, and I’m the GM ( but thank the goddess that OD is helping me!
Ordo Drakul - player of many parts
Xiscapia- your young pair is welcome
Alversia - Chaos just loves ones they’ve managed to turn…
The Garbage Men – not certain yet
And possibly one or two others.
I am going to require that any who wish to join be able to spell and use decent grammar, be willing to commit to post at least a decent paragraph per post – no one line hack offs- ; and post regularly. It’s not fair to the other players to join a game and drop out without warning or post just once a week.
To get some idea about this expansion on a theme you might want to at least skim:
Among the Muri ( http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=540883) – Muri perspective on things
Stroming Heaven (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=543566) – the last ten pages take a good look at Chaos ( and yes this is Chaos as Lovecraft and his fellows spoke of it, but you can also consult with Ordo Drakul – as been noted many times, he knows his Chaos...
