Jan Helarn was after the key members of the royal family the next most famous person in the small low country of Eslagnia.
He was voted Eslagnia's most sexiest man in 2006 and 2007
He is a male model and he is also a famous singer and has starred in one film though he has said he is not very interested in acting
He was quite a tall man. Athletic body structure with short light brown hair. wide brown eyes and a white skin tone.
He was 24 years old and his years active as a celebrity was from 2003 when he was 19.
He was born in the capital city in 1984, April 13th

Jan was leaving the Royal Eslenda Hotel
Paparazzi and fans were surrounding the entrance. Jan and his body guards slowly made thier way through
He was wearing sunglasses, a light pink button up shirt and white trousers
"Jan! Can I get your autograph!" yelled out some fans behind the wall of paparazzi
At the same time the Paparazzi were firing off questions
"What do you think of rumours that you are homosexual!?"
"Jan! Jan can you please tell the public if you are gay or not!"
Jan and the bodyguards made thier way into his waiting car.

The rumours began as soon as he became famous in the country.
For years it was always speculated he was gay, he had been single his whole life, there was never a woman in his life and rumours just snowballed all over the country.
Only recently the rumours intensified
Before last month he always found a way of ignore or avoid the question but he finally had his own answer to the question by saying
"Its not any of your business, I'm not going to confirm or deny. Can you all drop it now"

And now he has become a gay symbol in Eslagnia. You tube video's went up about him and his sexuality and forums were alive with lots of activity many saying
'Why doesnt he just come out, Eslagnia is a gay friendly country I dont see why he just doesnt already'
'He might lose some of his fans if he does that though....'

The truth was Jan was actually gay. His family and close friends where the only ones that knew.
But this has raised a debate in the country
"Should closet gay celebrities be outed?"
In theory many people say its a personal matter that the paparazzi has no right to but in and its his own business
But in practice many people love gossip and for some its turned into some sort of sick obsession speculating about a celebrities relationships, scandals or sexuality.
