Official Name: The Diclonius
Other name(s): Silpelit's , New humanity, Demons (referred to by humans usually)

Over view:
Originally a rare birth hundreds of years ago children born with two horns in human society were seen as evil, and servants of the devil and many were banished from villages all across the world. As births became more and more frequent they began rounding up and putting them into camps, treating them as monsters and even killing them. Many were killed for religious or even killed to be dissected. However what there captors did not know is that the brains of these Diclonius were different and they began showing psycho kinetic powers at the age of three. Many humans then distanced them selves further from the Diclonius children.
Unknowing to either at the time was there new found power was limited in range to a vary short distance for most (less then half a meter). The children also had a hard time attempting to control there powers and many died trying. Quickly though they used there power to escape and disappear deep into the forest. Due to there treatment Humans are there bitter enemy and are usually killed on site. Over the years following there escape and as the children grew up they realized that the range of there power was increasing not only with age, but by generation as well but only a small amount. Now in modern times the range of the average adult can range from 1.4 to 11 meters but there is a handful who can go further or who have the potential to go further then 11.
Within there own culture training for use of there powers in combat is a must and those with longer range powers are seen and more powerful and usually have higher status, however there are exceptions within this structure. Aside from the range of there abilities all are treated equally in the common belief that one day a "queen" will appear with powers far beyond there to lead them in revenge against the humans. Ancient story's say this "queen" lived once before but disappeared vowing to return when her people got stronger. This said it is also believed through story's passed down through generations that the queen had the ability to move things several (2-3) kilometers away. Thus the people believe this extreme power is the key to defeating the humans.
It is also believed that before the first appearance of the queen hundreds upon of years that reproduction only happened via infecting humans (or close to). It is said that there psycho-kinetic powers still have the power to change the DNA of those it touches so that all future children of there become a two horn. However because humans are usually killed upon being spotted (only if the Diclonius is spotted first) this is not proven and still only regarded as a myth to scare people to stay away from there territory. However there society is concealed deep within a forest creating the image of "the forest of death" because humans that enter almost never come out. On the other hand there is also a story that within the forest a village of all beautiful women exists which lures many men in seeking "pleasure" and women seeking acceptance among other women.
Deep within hundreds of years of tradition is honor for ones self, ones family, and ones surroundings. While going against the wishes of the family on issues like marriage is common, such things as shying away from a challenge between two family's or avoiding military service are punishable crimes if caught. Another cultural tradition is that if ones family is killed by a human then it is the duty of the eldest son to seek revenge according to tradition. It is forbidden to speak ill of the Lords in public, it is also forbidden to leave the towns and venture out without your face covered to protect the fact of who you are to traveling humans. One of the most high cultural crimes one can be accused of within society is having a relationship with a human which is forbidden and could be punished by death if called for.
Weakness: Long range attacks with heavy objects - there power determines how much force they can withstand/dodge. If you fired a regular arrow it would probably be dodged or deflected, put a vary heavy metal as the tip then it would make things harder depending on there power making it possible to kill them, though melee is possible it would take time to try
Government Structure:
The government is set up in a republic style system with feudalistic titles such as lord for those who run the government. Those who are in power are elected in as a family and not a individual. Who ever is the head of the family is the one who is the representative. The families in power switch ever few years as others are brought in via a simple system of elections. There is no single head of state but a unified council which all heads of elected families. This council is referred to as the Silpelit Council and governs all Diclonius.
The Diclonius:
While there parents could be from any where all Diclonius have two horns on there head sticking up through there hair that resemble cat ears. Besides the horns they seem like ordinary humans and one might pass the horns off as a skull deformation. The average height for a Diclonius is any where from 5'3" and 6'1", but like all creatures this is only a average and there are those above and below. One vary distinguishing feature of a Diclonius is there abnormal hair and eye colors compared to other humans such as the common Red eyes in Diclonius society.
Economics:
The economy of the Diclonius is based on the hard work of every one, there are no slaves, no debts or anything that could cause problems for society. Instead all work for the common goal to better society by keeping food on every ones table. Making sure theres wood for fires and clothing for every one. This Utopian socialist economic idea has run smoothly by the simple idea that society would collapse if every one didn't help out.

Joshua Verness- Male, son of a farmer, Is devoted to becoming strong to take revenge on humans for killing his mother, age 14, range 2 meters
