Faxanavia Searches for New Supercarrier for Naval Fleet

indentThe Faxanavian Republican Navy has announced today that they will be outsourcing their Nimitz class Supercarriers, previously a central ship to the Faxanavian Navy's carrier groups. The Nimitz has been in service with the Faxanavian navy for over 20 years, since the commissioning of the HPS Valiant in 1978. In a press announcement, Vice Admiral William Jacobson of the FRN stated that, "the age of the Nimitz Class carriers have caused a negative effect upon the capability of the Faxanavian Navy." The FRN stated that they will be looking to foreign contractors to fill the gap created by the retiring of the Nimitz Class and hope that a suitable replacement will be found.

Anarchism Class Supercarrier

Overview

The Anarchism Class is the largest vessel of Third Spanish States Navy, as a STOBAR supercarrier which combines a small payload of vertical launch cells with a large enough runway to allow all short take-off and landing aircrafts of the Confederacy to operate without catapults and in optimal weather conditions, without arresting gears, although also packing them for other fixed-wing aircrafts without short-take off and landing capability but with sufficiently reinforced airframes for CATOBAR, particularly medium swing-wing aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles, being capable of having a load of up to 100 fixed wing aircrafts of medium size, although usually having much less due to the presence of larger aircrafts. Such capability is made coherent in taking off and landing procedures thanks to some of the latest flight control technologies, the Vuelonaval 1.3s CAG Flight Control system, designed specifically for the needs of the Anarchism Class rather than being an adaptation over flight control systems of land based or of other carriers, and manned by a crew of 90 dedicated flight controllers in an exclusive flight control deck right below the bridge. It was designed with a philosophy which believes that aerial dominance, electronic warfare, information and speed are the most essential aspects of modern naval warfare, and thus usually packs, asides from its own electronic warfare suite a considerable quantity of EW aircrafts and recon drones.

It is popularly known as the "Admiral Kunetzov's Big Brother", specially due to the ambiguous meaning of the nickname an the way it sounds ironic compared to the official name, while the smaller Libertarian Class Cruiser-Carrier, formerly known as Oso Class, was directly taken from the Kunetzov concept and usually main fleets have a handful of Libertarian Class and a single Anarchism Class as their "big brother". Featuring new technologies like linear acceleration catapults, the Anarchism Class is directly comparable to the new Gerald R. Ford class supercarrier of the US Navy, although packing a design method more closer to that of Russian carriers, where it, depending on certain laws restricting the passage of carriers in certain seas, might be suspiciously reclassified as a "battleship with an air wing".
