We, The Liberal Democratic Republic of Wolfenhalle have decided to re-enlist new members for the International Brigades. This will be a all foreign unit to serve in the Federal Army. We ask for men to enlist in this force

From: The United Provinces of the Vanteland
The Vanteland, in requiring it's citizens to complete two years of military service upon their eighteenth birthday, has an overabundance of radicalist soldiers who would love to fight for Wolfenhalle. Fully formed, they're enough in number for two brigades:

-The Zaphod Beeblebrox Brigade
-The Akhari Blaze Brigade

Both are named after war heroes (and martyrs) in the Vante-Gholgothic War, which tried, in vain, to preserve Vantanian sovereignty against the invading Gothic forces.
