On the HMS Shelby in route to set a base in Volzgrad.

Radar tech looks at his radar screen and sees something popping up and then disappearing moving at high speed.

“Sir I think you might want to look at this sir.”

“What is it?”

“I don’t know sir it’s been popping on and off the screen for about a minute now”

“What does the Computer classify it as?”

“Ocean Atmospheric interference.”

“Well there you have it” “BUT SIR I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING COMING AT US!”

“The computer is never wrong people can be” “Sir Permission to ask the other Radar Techs in the fleet on the NLANS?” “Yeah go ahead”

“ Sir three other ship are reporting the same” “ ETA of unknown is 2 minutes I think we should bring the fleet to condition 2 sir” “ ITS 0230 IN THE MORNING AND YOU WANT ME TO WAKE EVERYBODY IN THE FLEET ON WHAT THE COMPUTER SAYS IS INTERFERENCE HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?”

“BUT SIR!” “SHUT-UP NOW DROP IT!”

Then over the loud speaker on the ship SET CONDITION 1 THREW THE SHIP INCOMING MISSILES!

“SIR I GOT VANPIRE, VANPIRE, AND VANPIRE! 5 NO 8 SHIT 10 INCOMING MISSILES!”

Right at that moment a missile slammed into the HMS Shelby in the ammo magazine setting off thousands of pounds of explosives. And 6 other ships where hit including the flagship the Carrier HMS Sabbatini which took a hit in the control tower and bridge killing Admiral Amerigo Beneventi the fleet’s admiral. The HMS Shelby was taking on water and was heavily damaged she was listing to the left badly.

One of the other ships hit was a container ship carrying supplies and personal gear of the troops being deployed, wear it was hit caught fire and was spreading though the ship unable to be stopped.

A third ship that was hit was the HMS Manfrin at the water line and she was sinking. This was a troop ship with 800 soldiers on broad no knows what the death toll will be with her.

“Quick CIC send a message to fleetcom now tell them we’ve been hit!”

“CIC this is radar NLANS is down!”

“CIC to comms you sending that message?” “Trying to Sir!”


“CIC this Comms the encoder is down can’t send in code!”

“Just a few minutes ago we received word for the MOD that the Carrier Battle Group 2 from the 4th fleet has been missile attack by unknown attackers. The MOD is releasing few details at this time but the military has been place on defcon 2. Our hearts and prayers go out to our men and women of our armed services tonight.”" These pictures are the first and only pictures released by the MOD showing the attack on the Royal Navy."

Just then the studio shook and the lights flickered.

“What was that?”

“INN has just received word that there has been explosion reported in the cities inside Imbrinium! One being at a nuclear power plant.”

“There are reports now coming in that the airport and the harbor in the capital have had bombs go off around them.” “And now a possible explosion in front of the royal palace no word of that yet!”

“A power relay station was hit in the north and most of the power has been cut off.”

“The train station in the city of Assandra has been totally destroyed.” “This is the second biggest and busiest in the nation.”

OOC: What are you looking for? A nation to take responsiblity for the attack? If so, I'd be glad to do so.

(OOC: on the other hand, I'd be happy to try my hand at one of these and have had a battle group conducting training exercises in a nearby area.)

OOC: That was more helpful advice to cut down on the hundreds of noobs(no offence) that sell RL equipment, and get good sales, which in turn cuts into sales of the designers of custom equipment on NS, my slef included. Because most people just look for a pretty picture and not at the design it self, this cuts even further into the sales of those who have quality designs and put real effort into their designs, but can't draw worth a crap.(again myself included).

OOC: thats cool i do understand, if you want to be the bad guy in this you can its up to you. it wouldn't be hard for you to wipe me out with 5b people in your nation. you'd have to play someone my size or maybe alittle larger than me.

"Condition five," shouted Mavis into the intercom.

It was another day as they were wondering around trying to put the new aerial aircraft carrier to the test. It was also Mavis first command since he joined the Vamperial Order. He watched as the drill was full filled with excellent results as it was the first time they were out.

"Condition three," shouted Mavis again into the intercom.

"Sir," shouted the radar operator. "It seems we've intercepted an SOS,"

Mavis turned around as Mavax from the Imperial Guardian Battalion entered the bridge. Mavis rushed over as he read the telegram before thinking about his next move. Everything stopped as they looked to Mavis who was thier Aerial Squadron Commander. Silence swept the bridge and the control tower as everyone waited.

"Send a reply back and tell them we're due to east of them and are willing to aid them," ordered Mavis.

"Sure its a good idea?" asked Mavax as he joined Mavis at the front of the bridge.

"Better than being bored," replied Mavis.

From: Aerial Aircraft carrier Vamperial, Kingdom of Lynion

We have picked up your SOS. We're about an hours flight due South East of your current position. Hang on! We're coming!

1600 hours, Volzgradien Battle Fleet 7

"Sir, it looks like were getting an SOS on the Imbrinium channels" shouted Comms officer Yuri Vasilov as he began listening to the message. Several of the crew began chattering excitedly as they began hearing the message. A few moments later, and the standard black peaked cap of a Volzgradien Naval Officer appeared in the door. "What is it now Vasilov" grumbled the officer as he looked over the Comms officer's shoulder. "It looks like the Imbrinium fleet is being attacked sir. What should we do?" Inquired Yuri as the message began to fade into static. "Shit, this sounds serious. Alexei, message High Command and tell 'em whats goin' on" yelled the officer as he began to perspirate with nervousness. In an instant the officer grabbed the radio and dialed to the frequency of the Imbrinium fleet. "This is Captain Pavel Zuev of the Volzgradien Navy. We have recieved your message and are on route to provide aid. Captain Zuev out." he said proudly as he signaled the engine operator to get moving.

On the HMS Shelby after being hit some 13hrs ago

“Damage control this is the CO how’s it going down there?”

“Sir we can’t save her there is nothing more we can do down here!”

“Roger that pull your men out!”

“TO THE CREW OF THE SHELBY THIS IS YOUR CAPTAIN WE CAN’T STOP THE FLOODING IN THE FORWARD COMPARTMENTS, SO AT THIS TIME I’M ORDERING ALL HANDS TO ABANDON SHIP.”

And with the crew that was still alive started to abandon their ship. Meanwhile on the cruiser HMS Baresi they we’re picking up the last crew of the HMS Manfrin as the CO watched as his ship slipped under the waves.

“Go ahead comms”

“Receiving a messages from the Volgrad navy and the Lynion navy responding to our SOS.”

“Check put me through to the volgrad navy first.” “You’re on sir.”

“ This Commander Mazzanti of the Royal Imbrinium navy we are currently in need of medical help we’ve been hit and have lost 2 ships with the possibly of losing a third. The aircraft carrier was hit in the control tower and bridge she dead in the water and burning.”

“We also request help to escort the rest of our fleet to your country to get them out of the line of fire in case where attacked again.”

“Currently we are unable to launch any aircraft for a CAP we don’t have any information on the attackers they still maybe lurking around so proceed with caution.”

“ CIC to Comms put me through to the Lynion navy ships.”

“ This is Commander Mazzanti of the Cruiser Baresi of the Royal Imbrinium Navy we are currently in security and rescue operations at this time. We have lost two ships and we have ships that may not make it.” “What assistances are you offering?”

“ CIC! SONAR POSSIABLE SUBMERGED CONTACT NORTHWEST OF US!”

“ Shit! The frigates HMS Li Fonti, Marcelo are going to check it out.”

“ CIC THIS THE COMMANDER FREE UP TWO ASW HELICOPTERS TO ASSIT IN THE SEARCH!”

"Open up a comms link with the Imbrinium fleet."

"This is Captain Zuev to the Imbrinium fleet. We have received your message and are steaming on full power toward your location. Just stay afloat a little bit longer."

"Sir, we're getting a message from the rest of the fleet at Port Stranski"

"Captain Zuev, this is Admiral Kovalyakov. We have received your message and are sending several support ships to assist. All docks are ready to receive the Imbrinium fleet's ships."

"Good to hear Admiral. All we can do now is hope we reach them in time"

“Comms to CIC incoming radio traffic from the Volgrad navy.”

“CIC put it though” “Captain Zuev this is Commander Mazzanti on the HMS Baresi we’ve lost two ships already and could lose a third. The carrier is a dead stick and the fire on her are still not under control. I have assumed command of the fleet at this time all efforts are in search and rescue and protection at this time.”

“One question Captain Zuev we tracking a submerged target at this time do you have anything in our area?” “I’d hate to shoot a friend.”

“Comms to CIC Flash radio traffic coming in from Comfleet1”

To Commander of the CBG 2 we are sending help. As you probably know the nation was hit about the same time you where hit last night. We still don’t know who or why but we will find them and make them pay. Keep us updated on your situation and god speed well all need it.

Upon hearing the Imbrinium fleet's newest message, Zeuv thought to himself.

"This is Captain Zuev. That's a negative on the submarine. The fleet stationed here has only 10 submarines, and all of them are docked back at our port."

On the horizon, Zuev could already see the smoke rising from the burning ships. Only a few more minutes and they would be able to save them. Hopefully this USO wouldn't attack them again.

Mavis looked at the radar and studied a submerged object heading towards the fleet that sent out the SOS a few minutes ago. They came below the clouds as Mavis watched the submerged object go closer and closer to the fleet.


"This is the Lynion Aerial Fleet. If you require medical help or need your men to find a place to stay onboard we're happy to help," came the Lynion reply.

"Have one support ship track that submerged device and stay above it. If it identif'ies itself as enemy, sink it with depth charges. If its friendly, let it pass," ordered Mavis.

One of the support ships broke off formation and started to hover alongside where the submerged device was going as depth charges were put in place.

MOD has closed all borders and cut back on flights inside the nation. IEMA says the death toll could reach as high a 3000. A spokes person for the IEMA said they just don’t know as of yet with the damage like this it could be weeks before the toll is known.
MOD also reporting that 2 ships were lost in the attacks the 2nd CBG was attack at the same time as the nation was no reports on casualties.

INN: Imbrinium News Network

This is Galdino Trevisani with INN we have a breaking story, as everyone in Imbrinium knows 72hrs ago the kingdom was attacked by an unknown attacker. Not only was the nation itself attacked but also was a naval fleet on its way to a allied nation. So far the death toll here in the country stands 2760 dead and 5000 wounded. The MOD is reporting that 300 dead and 467 wounded in attackers on the 2nd CBG.

For the first time in the history of the kingdom the military is active in the streets of the kingdom at the airports and train stations, and ports. The MOD is reporting that combat aircraft have been flying over the nation since the attack in Combat air patrols.

The nuclear power plant that was hit outside the city of Doaba Guerfel is still off line and the minister of energy states will keep it off line till we know for sure that the plant is 100% safe. The plant’s cooling system was damaged in the bombing and the rectors spiked but shut themselves down before there was any danger of a meltdown.

The nations train system is working at 80% compacity due to the station at Assandra being destroyed in the bombings. The ministry of transportation states that rail traffic will be routed to the old station in the city within the 24 hrs.

The aerial fleet hovered over the submerged object as they silently waited for a moment. They wait for a moment before it becomes known it isn't a Lynion submarine or submerge vessel.

"Orders sir?" asked the captain to Mavis.

"Hold the position and prepare the depth chargers on the Hunter's," replied Mavis.
