IC: Joseph sighed. Another crappy day at his crappy job. He walked through the alley, dogear cigarette hanging out of his mouth, hands in pockets. At the end of this alley, it split off into two. There were some bums sleeping in the one on the right. He sighed and started off down the one on the left before hearing a muffled scream. He turned back to see the bum being dragged away into the darkness, a trail of blood in his wake. He followed after picking up a length of lead pipe until the trail led to a manhole. He gulped and looked inside it. He instantly pulled back and threw up. A stench of rotting meat wafted out, mixed with something altogether unfamiliar to him. He shone the flashlight in his mobile phone down into the hole and screamed. The last thing he saw was a wall of dark yellow teeth. But he didn't die there, no. They just started with his eyes.

A number of people had been disappering in St. Alean, and the police couldn't find any culprits or explanations. They eventually gave up. The killings, however, have reached a new high point and now supers are coming to investigate. Some for the good of the people, some for their own gains.

OOC: I had a better IC post, but my lousy Opera crashed and I had to start and finish this within 7 minutes... So, basically, my city of St. Alean is under attack by strange monsters. Superpeeps are coming to the city to inestigate the dissappearances, and when everyones characters has arrived, the main story will begin with a bang.

Bio: Vulkas is a wanderer, through and through. He first turned up at an orphanage when he was 2, sat on the doorstep with a bloody name tag around his neck. His parents were never found. He spent the first 10 years of his life uneventfully there, before his powers began to appear. When he was 17, during a fit of anger, he lost control over his powers and set the orphanage ablaze. He ran away and has wandered around the Void ever since. He is not used to human contact and prefers to do anything he applies himself to quickly and quietly.

Age: Aprozimatly three hundred years (Immortal)
Appearance: Short cropped Brown hair with a slight gray sheen, Green eyes flecked with gray, slightly pale skin, 168 pounds, about 6'1 Wearing: Light Tan Long coat, White dress shirt, butternut (Khaki) pants
Powers: Immortal (Not invunerable, can be killed) Enhanced strength (20X the human norm.) Near-flight jumps (Jumps very high.
Bio: James Dowling was born in 17th century England, and upon his birth, was marked as a demonic child after crushing his fathers thumb. Growing up on the run, James learned his best bet for survival was to blend in, adapt to the changing times and not cause a situation where he would reveal himself. After centuries of fighting in wars, on one side in one war, on the other the next, as well as being a vigilante, James finally retired to St. Alean, only to be distrubed by several reports of civilians disapearing.

I'll post a villian later, need to think of a good one.

Name: Joseph Alexander, though noone knows that. He calls himself La'Zerra no'Vehak, or Fallen Angel of Death
Age: 29
Appearance: Has shoulder length crimson hair, with eyes that change color depending on mood, normally a pale red. Very pale skin, normally wears black, looks rather gothic.
Powers: Extremely good swordsmen, amazingly fast, limited control over fire and darknes.
Weaknesses: Not very strong, gets very uncomfortable around churches or other holy grounds, and is weakened by recitations of holy passages, or someone singing a hymn.
Bio: Joseph Alexander grew up with a very Catholic family, and like many children in that position began to resent being forced to go to church and uphold the church's teachings. He began to get into the occult, witchcraft, demon worship, ect... He bought several books on demon summoning, and when he was 14 managed to actually summon a demon. He overestimated his own willpower, and was if not possesed, certainly demonically endowed. As a result, he has an extreme disliking of the clergy and the church in general, and has minor demonic powers. At urgings from the demon, he killed his entire family, and named himself La'Zerra no'Vehak, or Fallen Angel of Death in the demon language. By the time he was 17, the demon had driven him completely insane. He has killed everyone who knew him, and now is a regular serial killer, going after priests in particular. When he kills, he likes to shed as much blood as possible.

Age: 48
Appearance: Close cropped silver hair, Slate grey eyes, slightly taned. Wearing: A black business suit
Powers: Telepathic, enhanced strength (10X the norm) Uses 100% of his brain
Bio: Born Harvey Jacobs is a former lab rat, a test tube baby born to tests radical new treatments and genetic augmentations. Numerous tests shattered his mind, and ,at age six, in a fit of rage over having powdered milk instead of the real thing, Salughtered or drove all of the staff memebers insane. After being adopted by the Wealth Daniels family, Harvey quickly climbed through private schools, attending college at the age of fourteen and was CEO of Richmond INC. by Age twenty four. However, even though he appears perfectly on the surface, he has a seperate personality triggered by extreme emotions, a split personality named Höllereich (Literaly, Kingdom of Hell)

And for the record, UHC Zero and I are the same nation, Jolt seems to like UHC zero better though.

Name: real name unknown, goes by Pierce

Age: Biological growth data estimates him to be around 30, but dirt specimens taken from his hair and fingernails are dated at 2000 years ago

Appearance: Sporting ice-blue hair tied in a pony tail, he usually is seen wearing a white trench coat with a matching Stetson hat. 6' tall, he weighs in at about 195 lbs.

Powers: 5 Elemental Mastery (Metal, Wood, Fire, Earth, Water); Genius IQ; Body Memory: able to exactly copy any move he's seen once; Perfect sight: has vision that rivals that of a hawk and owl.

Bio: Found encased in a block of black ice by a group of expeditionary scientist to the North Pole, Pierce was subsequently thawed out and held captive by the Financer of the group, the CEO of Pierce Incorporated, from which Pierce was named. Treated as more of an object than a human, Pierce was subjected to numerous invasive tests as scientists tried to determine anything they could about his age and identity. However, Pierce soon grew tired of the testing, and after learning English and the ways of modern man, he soon obliterated the compound he was held in and all subsequent holdings of Pierce Incorporated. He now wanders around from city to city with no real goal; just enjoying and doing things he feels like—moving in and out like the wind.

Age: unknown

Powers: pyrokinisis with similar powers afecting earth, air (wind) and water. One with the wind*
Bio: Shinzon has never openly discused his past with anyone, but what information that he has given to us shows he is from asia and that he an extreamly good swordsman. He seems to feel he is endebted to society for some imense sin that god is punishing him for. His punishment is to walk the earth for all eternity as an elemental spirit and help society.

*One with the wind= extreamly fast and impossable to hit bewca use, for a limited time, Shinzon is literaly the wind.

Villain

Name: Zach
Age: 18
Appearance: 6 foot tall, medium length blonde hair, average build, he just looks like your average guy.
Powers: Telekinesis, Teleportation, Cellular regeneration (not immortal, take his head off he dies, all else he can pretty much heal)
Bio: Upon discovery of his powers 4 years ago he became angry. He felt he was wrong and, being unable to control his, powers killed his best friend and family by accident, driving him to insanity. He has since managed to gain control of his powers and develop them extensively, his current strength is considerable. He fears above all else losing his powers. He has left a trail of bodies in his wake, leaving no forensic evidence for any murders he has committed (approximately 40). He has no conscience and his targets are randomly chosen. He is British. Doesn't yet know of his ability to heal himself, leading him to fear death and loss of his abilities above all else. Healing is not immediate.

Okay, I was going to say this about 4 hours ago, but jolt lagged out...

What kind of things/districts/landmarks are in the city ? So we have places to go and can RP better.

Bio: Little is known about Mirage, his origins are unknown as well as all other information about who he is. He specializes in making extremely fast kills in which he simply waves his hands and his foe is torn to pieces. His weapon has not been seen, he is typically silent and tends to speak with the emotions of those speaking to him.

Appearance: Deep Blue Eyes, Always seems to be wearing white. Has wings which appear hidden most of the time. Typical dress: white trench coat. white shirt white pants and white shoes. Is tall at 6 2 and lithe.
Powers: Incredibly Reflexes, Flight, Very Very long sighted, Very strong.
Bio: His first recorded Appearance is unknown though it is possible he was the one to speak to the Shepards. Has made various appearances over the last three thousand years masking as the "archangel Gabriel." Apparently fought at Agincourt amongst the English. He carries a long pure white bow with him when he thinks he can get away with it but only when this is the case or when he knows he will be using it. Exceptional with a bow. Also exceptional when wielding two Dirks.

Powers: Control over the elements. swordsmanship.
Limitations: He has a set of limits. If he uses too much energy he his powers begin to kill him. It would normally take days to recharge his energies, but if he has an active source of elemental energy such as a fire or pure spring water, he can absorb it's essence and add it to his current pool of energy. He has no control over metal, or living creatures (including trees.). He is in no way immortal and can be killed in anyway a human could (poison, sickness, bullets, other powers.)

Notes about his powers: Since in a way he is connected with the earth and it's elements, he must be in touch with at least one element at anytime. If he does not he will die instantly. Second if another person has powers similar to his, he can meld their powers to devastating effect. Finally if enraged enough James will enter a state of madness in which his power knows no limits but he is at risk of being trapped in that state forever the longer he remains in that form.

BIO: Born to an Oblivion soldier and a english hippie (no offense to any english here.) James always had an affinty for defending nature, and his homeland. He was brought up never to lie, cheat, or steal. At age 16 his powers began to manifest themselves and at age 17 he was told by the reincarnation of merlin, that he was the new Elemental. The guardian of earth and all her elements (wind, water, earth, fire, lightening, ice, etc) and that one day he would be needed in a time of great chaos. He wields his families ancestral blade and his powers, in the name of mother earth.

Powers: Power over Metal objects. Can morph and move them as much as he wants. Kinda like Magneto.
Bio: With his gift, life has always been easy for him. He has managed to stay under the radar while using his intellect, along with his power, to make metal inventions and become rich. He is therefore very bored with life, and looks for a quick thrill whenever possible.
