CM storefront V1.1!

Conserative Morality

As we here at CM did not like the layout of our last storefront, we are making a new storefront, with (Hopefully) a more user-friendly interface. Here is the salesman to help you make your decision. He's working on commission.

GUR-V4 and alterations:

GUR-V4

http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk294/Tombombadil9/GUR-V4.jpg

Range(Accurate to): 230 yards
Caliber: .223
Modes: Single shot (Semi-automatic 50 RPM), three-shot bursts (90 RPM), five-shot bursts(120RPM).
Length: 43.454 inches.
Magazine Capacity: 50 rounds
Weight (With magazine): 9.77 pounds.
Price: $755 USD
Versions: GUR-V4 (Normal), MAR-V1 (Assault rifle), CHR-V2 (Hunting Rifle)

Origin:
The GUR-V4 is the forth rifle created and used by the CM army. The inventor of the GUR-V1 rifle was Vincent Gambino, who later became president. The rifle was quickly adapted 10 years ago, and four subsequent versions were created, hence the name General Use Rifle Version Four. The weapon was originally created to replace the traditional repeating crossbow used by the CM army even into the 1990's. The weapon quickly became a runaway success with both the government and civilians. Rights to subsequent versions were purchased by the CM government. The GUR-V2 added a five shot burst and single shot option. The GUR-V3 added a larger barrel for use with a bayonet, and more accuracy. The modern GUR-V4 greatly increased the ammo capacity (From 25 bullets), lessened the weight, even with the magazine, and added an optional stock. It has since been bought out by Moralite industries, and the GUR-V5 is expected to come out soon.

Summary:
All in all, an above average weapon. Useful for most situations, with extra attachments for more versatility. Also has a small light near the bottom that can be switched on or off near the front.

Available Accessories:
GLRA-V2: A grenade launching attachment able to be used with the GUR-V4. Launches 40 mm grenades. Price: $45 USD

RS-V1: A scope made specifically for the GUR-V4. It can be flipped down to avoid distraction, and is made to correspond with the GUR-V4's light. Price: $30 USD

RLS-V1: A laser-sight made for the GUR-V4, but can also be used for the grenade launcher attachment, adjusting for gravity. Price: $30 USD

GURS: A stock that severely reduces the recoil on the GUR-V4. Price: $30 USD.

CRB: A bayonet for close range combat. Price: $10 USD

Use in CM:
Civilian Population: 340 million Owners
Moralites Against Crime: 35.2% of civilian owners. (120 million)
Smaller Private Gun Groups: 26.4% of Civilian Owners (90 million)
Police: 19.1% of civilian owners (65 million)
Other: 19.3% of civilian owners (65.5 million)
The CM Army: 25,000

The salesman:
"Ah yes, a VERY good choice. One of the world's top rifles don't you know? One of the most versatile too, a much better choice then those weak American rifles. Pfft. Able to launch not only grenades, but anything else that'll fit into the little grenade slot! It's spring-loaded. The laser sight automatically points further down when you set up the grenade launcher attachment. Just pull back on it, and it's ready to go. Well, if you have it loaded. AND, if you buy over a hundred of these, I'll give you this snow globe, free of charge! That's right, completely free! So what do you say?"

MAR-V1

Range(Accurate to): 200 yards
Caliber: .223
Modes: Fully automatic fire (240 RPM)
Length: 43.90
Magazine Capacity: 35 Bullets
Weight (With magazine): 13.24 pounds
Price: $825 USD

Origin:
The MAR-V1 (Marcus Assualt Rifle)is the creation of Marcus Lionel (Creator of the GDSA-V2), created for use in Close quarters fighting, or where cover fire is needed. It is an adaptation from the GUR-V3. It is currently still in the transitional stage, and not yet into the CM army yet. It is unpopular among most Moralites because it eats up bullets, which are not cheap.

Summary:
Best for Close quarters combat, but can be used in other situations. Not recommended for objectives requiring accuracy, as the MAR-V1 is meant for wide sweeps.

Accessories:
None.

Use in CM:
Civilian population: 20 million owners
Moralites against crime: 37.5% (7.5 million)
Smaller gun owner groups: 20% (4 million)
Police: 17.5% (3.5 million)
Other: 25% (5 million)

The salesman:
"Oh yes, the MAR-V1, a perfect gun for SWAT teams. I mean, load it up with rubber bullets, burst into a room and everyone is bawling their eyes out. Those things sting, I remember back when I stole a used car from a rival- WHOOPS! Getting off track here. So...Uh...What can I do to get you to purchase one of these fine guns?

CHR-V2

Caliber: .223
Modes: Single shot (40 RPM)
Length: 42.80
Magazine Capacity: 10 Bullets
Weight (With magazine): 9.24 pounds
Price: $455 USD

Origins:
The CHR-V2 (Conserative Hunting Rifle was originally a design for a more accurate, cheaper version of the GUR-V2 for a sniper rifle. However, when the LRSR-V1 came out, the designs were quickly abandoned. Almost two years later, an official looking for a new way to bring revenue into the CM government came across the plans. He, being an avid hunter, recognized the potential the gun had as a hunting rifle, and was quickly picked back up. Freedonia hunting inc. put up a bid on the weapon, and was sold under article 23 B of CM weapons manufacturing (The company manufactures it for in CM production, but all out of CM sales are handled by the government: They get all the profit and none of the work. This is the way most CM weapons are produced).

Summary:
Absolutly worthless in battle, but cheap, and accurate at a distance. .

HRS- A simple scope for increased accuracy. Price: $50 USD

Moralites against Crime: 24% (120 Million)
Hunters of CM: 40% (200 million)
Smaller gun owner groups: 11% (55 million)
Other 25% (125 million)

The salesman:
Ah yes, the Moralite Hunting Rifle, an excellent choice for any hunting you want to do. Well, maybe except for larger game such as elephants... But these guns are PERFECT for Deer and rabbits and the sort. And the Bio-Scanner is a big help too. Good for any nation who has a dire shortage of funds and a desperate need for weapons. You buy a thousand of these, and I'll throw in a free digital watch with each of 'em. Hunters and soldiers need the time too, no?

I'll even paint each one of them that you buy PERSONALLY if you buy more then a thousand with all of the attachments. That's right PERSONALLY. That's a rare thing nowadays folks.

ADTB-V5
Type: Diplomatic Transport
Length: 10 Meters
Height 3 Meters
Width: 2.3 Meters
Horsepower: 390 hp
Armor: Stainless steel
Weight: 13 tons
Speed: 45 Mph
Crew: 1+45 passengers

Origin:
The ADTB-V5 (Armored Diplomatic Transport Bus) was originally designed as a military transport. However, it proved to large of a target, and was quickly scrapped. However, mere days after the decision to discontinue it, an ambassador was killed in a easily prevented shooting. The Transport was soon revived as a diplomatic vehicle. The ADTB-V2 included bulletproof windows to give it a slightly more normal look. It was quickly replaced by the ADTB-V3 in 1981. The ADTB-V3 used stainless steel to prolong the use of the outer covering. It was widely hailed as the best possible transport for diplomats and statesmen everywhere. The ADTB-V4 included small window-like defenses in top, the only windows that move. They provide a small point at which to return fire. It's current incarnation has increased the horsepower and speed. It has also expanded to include fold-out beds, made to reduce the bumping around normally felt when laying down in a bus or car.

Summary:
An armored bus/castle. What more do you need to know?

The salesman:
"Ah yes, the ADTB-V5, how about I take you on a tour of this sweet bus? As you can see, the radio extends all throughout the bus, and can be used as a PA system. The air conditioning isn't cheap either, it's installed above each seat. This baby is shock reisistant as-WHOA! Hit a bump there, sorry. The fold-out beds are comfy, and the bathroom is in the back. That's right, this bus is so fancy is has a bathroom. And I'll give you a pair of fuzzy dice with each one! So, how's it sound?"

SF-V1
No more then a simple remote controlled camara made to look like a large Green bottle fly. It can record Audio and visual, and has a commanding range of twenty miles.

Weapons/Equipment: One suicide EMP device. One Video/audio camara. One Radio Control device. One jamming device.
Length: 16 mm long
Weight: 78 Milligrams
Price: $7200 USD

Versions: SF-V1 (Spy), BF-B.5 (Anti-SF), AF-A.5 (Assassination)
Origin:

The SF-V1 (Spy Fly Version one) has not always been intended for spying. It was originally thought up as a way to have hundreds of these patrol the streets at night as an attempt to prevent crime, but the design was soon switched to a spying role, as many didn't like the idea of everything that they did being monitored as well as the sheer amount of people needed. It is currently only in it's first incarnation and will probably be replaced soon.

The Salesman:
Small, but effective, each one can slip behind enemy lines and report on every thing said or seen there! An excellent deal, even for it's cost!

BF-B.5

Weaponry/Equipment: One Suicide EMP device. One Small forward switchblade. One small forward mounted rifle. One Radio Control unit.
Length: 18 mm long
Weight: 99 Milligrams
Price: $8800 USD

Origin:
The BF-B.5 (Battle Fly Beta .5) was designed almost immediately after the SF-V1 came into production as a counter-espionage unit, designed specifically to home in on SF-V1's and other small cameras. It was specifically designed not to attract attention, much like the SF-V1. It is currently available for $800 USD and the promise to relay actual field testing data for improvement upon the current model.

The Salesman:
The counter-Spy Fly, excellent for anyone who you think might have purchased Spy flys and might be spying on you! If you DON'T buy at least a few of these, your plans could be in GRAVE danger! So go ahead, buy one! Heck, buy two! That's an order!

OOC: You know, I am sure Hataria and Kstan would agree with you that realism is for losers.

NSD does allow for a little bit of wank, but there are much better ways to be whimsical. For instance, Confederacy made a stealth tank, which was NSD approved, I think. I have heard something about Doomingsland making a nuclear rocket launcher (might be heresay). Franberry's military is based around cavalry, which on the surface isn't that whimsical, until you realize that his modern cavalry actually is cavalry, with horses and everything. Hurtful Thoughts may or may not be attempting a steam powered plane, and I am doing a rifles which consciously have major drawbacks to release for export, but not to be used domestically.

Like I said, NSD is whimsy-friendly, but you actually have to be creative, and not just wanking things up.

I don't believe I saw him selling a rocket launcher, and as poorly rendered his ideas may be, they aren't really crappy.

Well... calling a ring-sight a "scope" gets kinda funny though...

As is the 1-gram rifle-armed fly (the fly is the bullet amiright?).

An Underbarrel Slingshot (er... "grenade launcher") has its advantages, I suppose. (Considering what I gleaned of his nation from his sales rep, rocks and snowglobes are cheaper than bullets)

Armor is like a parachute... Do you really want to do a random double-blind test (including a "control group") to prove they won't work?

And don't knock my steam-powered Tu-114...

All this said, some militaries may pwn you if it was deemed politically correct to do so.

Unless the other fellow is using the CFR model 07...
Oh, right, drop the cost, because otherwise I'll under-bid you with a $250 battle-rifle system...
(Although I must admit I don't include watches, snow-globes, or grenade launchers with my purchases...)

OOC: Haha, very funny. I'll have you know that I've put that GRENADE LAUNCHER to good use lately! It works well with grappling hooks :). *Shakes fist at Hurtful thoughts* Poor me...Always teased for my lack of artistic ability *Cries*:D Also, the fly isn't a bullet. It's a small remote controlled camera basically. But it's disguised as a fly to avoid detection.

Official message from Conserative morality:
I'm afraid we already have a private company building our weapons, and for free too. We both make a profit because of the contract:

We develop the weapons, they pay us a very small sum. They handle all Civilian contracts, but we handle all contracts with other countries. They supply the finished weapons to both parties. The CM government decides what constitutes "other countries".

That's the way it's been ever since the now-obsolete GDSA-V1.
President Gaius McDermott.

*IMPORTANT NEWS BROADCAST FROM CM*

"You might have heard the rumours. You might have heard that our government weapons manufacturing is going to stop. Well I'm here to tell you that's not true, in a way. The 23-B contracts have all ran out for our previous weapon companies. Well, we've completely sold all rights to our weapons to Moralite Manufacturing. Here's their represenatative."
*A skinny raven-black haired man walks in.*
"Hello CM and officials of foreign countries watching this broadcast. We indeed have bought out the CM government for all rights to their many weapons. We can assure you there will be no change in price. AAs for the amount of money we payed the government, well.... Unless they decid to coat the entire island with gold and replace every lake and river with molten platinum, they'll have enough to run their current functions for another few centuries." *Nervous laughter from the crowd*"We'll also be releasing the GDSA-V3. A new and more versatile model then the GDSA-V2. To photograph it, we'll be using a new type of digital imaging for a much clearer picture that does the gun justice. That's all."

"And in other news, criminal 1314 was recently found destroying..."

How much would a GDSA-V3 without the knife cost?

Official message from Conserative morality:
Although the knife cannot be completely removed, only retracted, the cost of it if we WERE to sell it without would still be about $280 USD. However, we do offer a bulk buy option in which if you buy two hundred or more, the price is only $250 USD per unit.
