The Confederate States of Rafaellun and Skraelic Islands

In this modern day and age, it is clear that above all else, the greatest asset to have at one’s side is a friend. The Confederacy of Rafaellun is not ignorant to this. The newly reformed Confederate States of Rafaellun and Skraelic Islands has now moved onto the world scene, rising above the troubles we have faced from centuries of strife and civil war. Now, with the newfound peace between ourselves and our newly integrated allies in the Skraelic Islands, we are eager to extend bonds of friendship to our neighbours in the world at large.
Our borders are now open, and we eagerly encourage the exchange of embassies now, that we may improve our diplomatic relations with those surrounding us. A number of allotments in major cities have been cleared for this purpose, and Farrun State University’s architectural association is working hard to provide the public with the highest quality, safest and most comfortable modern age buildings available.
We strongly encourage the fostering of trade agreements and are eager to form a cultural bond with our neighbours, after our years of isolation. On this note, due to the still slightly turbulent nature of public unrest, we would ask that attached security personnel are kept to a minimum, and powerful military hardware is forbidden. Your personnel’s safety will be capably ensured by our own law enforcement presence, but we cannot risk more foreign weapons being imported into the country, no matter how benign their intended purpose.

It is a truly major population center, and a popular location for visitors to the country. It is ideal to found an embassy, and several major streets have had allotments cleared for this purpose.

[1] - All embassy buildings are being constructed in advance in accordance Rafaellun national building standards. If you require any modifications to be made to the floor plan, please contact our State Planning Division so that a contractor can assist you with the renovations.
[2] - The limit on staff is 85. The maximum number of armed personnel at any one time is 15.
[3] - At this time, the Confederate State Department maintains stringent limits on military hardware used. As a general rule, no weapons larger than handguns are permitted at any time. As a general rule, muzzle velocity higher than 1350 ft/s is not permitted. There is a limit of 20 such handguns on-site at any one time.
[4] - There is no standing limit on the number of vehicles in use in any given embassy. There is however a limit on parking space - there are around 10-20 spaces in each embassy. Additional underground parking space can be requested, but the cost to install this will be requested. Please also note there is a national limit throughout the country on the size of commercial vehicle that is permitted in heavily urbanised areas. This is 11 meters and 4.2 meters for length and height respectively, in addition to a 12-ton weight limit (empty).
[5] - Armed vehicles of any kind are not permitted.
[6] - Unarmed air vehicles are permitted, although hangar space must be rented from the Farrun Aerodrome. Helipads may not be requested.
