The small nation of "The Armed Republic of The Mystic Circle"
Received a notice today that a yet unknown group of foreign nationals,
Mercenaries and religious Zealots had been massed on their Northern boarder
under the guise of the troops being " refugee camps" was blown earlier this
week when it was leaked that several thousand tanks and armored vehicles
were seen being off loaded from commercial vessels in the ports of a neighboring
nation.
The Nation to the North, No longer recognized by any nations in the world
has long been torn by civil war, genocide and "holy Crusades" and this sudden
build up of large military assets is guessed to be supported by "outside" forces
who have a grudge against the otherwise innocent nation.

IC ( In Character);

The Holy war was just a cover which the heads of Coup had used to keep
the locals and peasants in fever and fear of their "enemy".
The inadequacy of their own forces had forced them to hire out a large
portion of the military from other nations.
The cheap sale from several rouge nations of Tanks and heavy weapons
helped greatly. But the Heads knew they were running on borrowed time,
Someone had seen the cargo ships off loading and reported it to the world.
All phones belonging to civilian and commercial lines were cut to international lines. The tanks wouldn't be in place for at least 10 hours,
maybe 24 if they weren't lucky...
The infantry had been training in mountain bases through the spring,
Now they were only 20 miles from the border.
The Grand head of the Engulf and Destroy Cult had blessed this effort,
but only as long as he was given supreme authority over the "newly liberated lands"

The Thanks rolled down the road in 2 lines for miles and miles, while
other roads were flooded with Armored personelle carriers and heavy trucks.
The dust rose up into the morning skies and seemed to block out the sun
the 1000 T-55 tank commanders were issuing out orders to their 9000 subordinates. SAM trucks rolled along with the convoys and the border was being closely watched in case the Mystic Circle forces launched a preemptive
attack.
Along the border Towed Artillery was placed over night and camoflaged
while the crews sat in cooled fox holes waiting for orders.
SCUD-D missile trucks were driven into place near the border as well
as Katusha missile trucks and FROG-7 trucks.
Refueling and supply trucks ran like rivers headed south. Hundreds of
vehicles carrying thousands of men to the place where a massive battle was
going to begin.
