OOC: Is it okay if I add the Irondeck-class to my pseudo-storefront on the NS Draftroom? This is purely for ease of reference in my Military Factbook, and I'll make sure to give you all credit for the design. The only "real" changes I'll make is a simple renaming of the vessel.

The EM-220 ‘Tigershark’ class diesel electric submarine type is the result of a very lengthy review into Grestonian Imperial Navy submarine operations. This review concluded that since larger SSNs such while being incredibly capable are prohibitively expensive to build in large numbers and not as useful in littoral waters where many of Grestonian Imperial Navy submarine operations take place. Therefore the decision was taken to develop a new type of diesel electric submarine that would offer a cost effective alternative to nuclear attack submarines and at the same time providing as similar capabilities as possible. The Irondeck Naval Corporation's extremely experienced team then came up with a design that effectively crammed as many technologies and capabilities into as small a hull as possible. During design emphasis was also placed on secondary missions such as mine laying, Special Forces insertions, electronic intelligence and even search and rescue. Using extensive knowledge gained from experience with the 'Kilo' and 'Foxtrot' class submarines, the design represents a significant step forward in important qualities such as stealthiness, combat power and reliability.
Design
The Tigershark is designed for maximum performance with minimum acoustic signatures and features a teardrop shape hull constructed of a steel based alloy that offers significant advantages over steel without the huge price premium of titanium. The hull is covered in ancheolic sound absorbent tiles which prevent nearly all interior sounds from escaping.
The forms of the hull, the sail and the appendages have been specifically designed to produce minimum hydrodynamic noise. Between the suspended decks, the equipment is mounted on elastic mountings wherever possible, and the noisiest systems have a double-elastic mounting to reduce the risk of their noise profiles being radiated outside the submarine. The shock-resistant systems have been developed from systems incorporated in advanced nuclear-powered submarine designs. The low acoustic signature and hydrodynamic shock resistance give the class the capability to carry out anti-submarine and anti-surface ship warfare operations in closed or open sea conditions, as well as the capability of working with special forces in coastal waters.
One of the most easily detectable signs of submarines has always been the periscope that can show up easily on surface search radars but on the Tigershark the fibre optic is non hull penetrating and is covered in a RAM coating that makes a small radar cross section into a virtually non existent one. Additionally the periscope’s shape minimises visible wake on the surface. All other antennae and aerials that need to protrude above the surface at some stage all have these stealth features to minimise the risk of detection. These masts are also shaped to produce as little wake as possible, thus reducing the chances of aquiring the submarine visusally.
The submarine was designed with the object of having the least crew possible and using automated systems and eliminating certain jobs through technology. The compliment of the class need only be 31 with a standard watch team of nine although spare accommodation, in the form of fold down bunks for 16 is provided for missions such as Special Forces Insertion where additional personnel are required. All living and operational areas are fully air-conditioned. The vessel is especially equipped with all the necessary systems to provide vital supplies, water, provisions, regeneration of the atmosphere, to ensure the survival of all the crew for up to nine days in the event of an emergency where the submarine is stranded on the sea bed.
The ship is equipped with full rescue and safety systems. A connection point for a diving bell or Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV) allows rescue operations.
Command and Control
The combat management system, with up to six multifunction common consoles and a centrally situated tactical table, is collocated with the platform-control facilities. The combat management system is composed of a command and tactical data handling system, a weapon control system and an integrated suite of acoustic sensors with an interface to a set of Air Surface Detection sensors and to the Integrated Navigation System. The system can also download data from external sources such as satelllites and airborne radars.
The Integrated Navigation System combines data from global positioning systems, the log, depth measurement and the ship's trim/list monitoring system. The submarine's sensors also monitor the environment including seawater density and temperature as well as the submarine's own noise signature.
Weapons
The Tiger shark class boats excellent war fighting capability and an emphasis has been placed on land attack as well as anti-surface/anti-submarine warfare. The submarine has the capacity to carry up to 18 surface-to-surface missiles or torpedoes, which give the vessel excellent standoff capability.
The submarine has six bow torpedo tubes. Two of the tubes have a 650mm diameter which could provide the capability of launching swimmer delivery vehicles (SDVs) . With liners the tubes could be reduced to 533mm diameters Four tubes are 533mm diameter for launching torpedoes and missiles.
The submarine can also be armed with mines in lieu iof other weapons. A wet and dry compartment is installed for deploying underwater swimmers and special forces personnel.
Sensors
The submarine is equipped with the EMSS-055 integrated sonar system designed by Irondeck Sensor Systems, a wholly owned subsidary of Irondeck Naval Corporations which has: cylindrical array for passive medium-frequency detection; a low-frequency towed array sonar; flank array sonar for low/medium-frequency detection; passive ranging sonar; and hostile sonar intercept system. There is also an active high-frequency mine detection sonar.
Propulsion
The propulsion system combines a conventional system consisting of a diesel generator with a lead acid battery, and an air-independent propulsion (AIP) system, used for silent slow cruising, with a fuel cell equipped with oxygen and hydrogen storage. The system consists of nine PEM (polymer electrolyte membrane) fuel cells, providing a total of 350 kilowatts.
For higher speeds, connection is made to the high-performance lead acid battery. A diesel engine powers the generator for charging the battery when either snorkeling or surfaced. The diesel generator plant is mounted on a swinging deck platform with double elastic mounts for noise and vibration isolation. The propeller motor is directly coupled to the seven-bladed variable pitch, low noise propeller.
Performance of the AIP system gives the submarine an underwater endurance of nearly 30 days which is unprecedented for a diesel electric submarine. This is a crucial advanatge because the need to come repeatedly to periscope depth to recharge the batteries using the diesel engine greatly increases vulnerability to detection.

Levantian-class Escort Frigate
Hull
The Levantian was designed as a dual-hulled warship with a heavy emphasis on survivability rather than speed in great contrast to most other surface ships Grestonian Imperial Navy employ. The dual-hull design has been popular throughout modern history as a means of helping a ship survive what would otherwise be crippling injuries. The basic principle of this is simple; if the outer hull is breached, the inner hull, though smaller and without much of the outer hull’s armor, will still be able to maintain the vessel’s buoyancy, and will allow an equal distribution of water between the two hulls so as to prevent a list in the case of damage.
Both the inner and outer hulls of the Levantian were constructed using a steel-titanium composite based on the HY80 High-Pressure steel. The HY80 base material is used on most of Greston’s submarines, and was chosen for the project because of its availability, reliability and high tensile-strength, being able to bear incredible amounts of pressure before fracturing. Titanium was added in small quantities (contributing between 3% and 5% of the total weight of the composite) as a means of further increasing the tensile-strength of the material. In order to protect against armor fracture due to explosions, a ceramic-steel composite was overlaid along the sides of the hull above and below the waterline. Likewise, the sloped main and secondary turrets of the Václav received a tremendous level of armor plating, the main turrets exceeding the level of protection anywhere else on the ship. Much of this level of protection was overlooked on the deck of the Levantian's, however, as designers turned back to the traditional wooden-plank overlay of Greston's historical warships.
All said, this armor design gives the Levantian’s hull a total of up to 420 mm of armor placed on top of a hardened steel frame, and affords it in the area of 1,400 mm RHA on the main deck and just over 2,720 mm RHA along the side of the hull, which slopes at 18.5°. The heavily defended turrets, meanwhile, received 450 mm of armor over the three which housed the main guns, and 290 mm over those housing the secondary guns, giving them RHA values of 2,885 mm and 1,800 mm respectively.
Armament:
The Levantian was to be outfitted with six specially designed 440 mm (17.3 in) heavy naval guns. Each of these weapons, dubbed the T1 – Type 1 – Naval Guns, weighed in excess of 130 metric tons and could pitch a projectile weighing 3,170 kg over 37 km. Each of the T1 Naval Guns would independently targeted by the ship’s main targeting system, which used a combination of it’s own radar information and relayed satellite images to locate hostile targets. These guns were mounted in three heavily armored turrets, each turret containing two guns.
As an additional armament, the Levantian carried six 220 mm (8.6 in) T2 Naval Guns mounted like the T1s in three armored turrets. These weapons had a range of 20 km and were to serve as bombardment and littoral defense weapons, although they could be used with undoubted effectiveness against hostile ships which escaped the Levantian’s six main guns. The Levantian also carries three missile launchers each chambered for eighteen MM40 Exocet anti-shipping cruise missiles. For each of these three weapons, a further thirty-six missiles are carried onboard, half in an automatic loading position, and half below deck in storage. These missile launchers are targeted in the same manner as all other weapons onboard the ship, through the use of a comprehensive fire-control computer.
To defend against the threat of hostile aircraft and inbound missiles, the Levantian had an array of countermeasures and air-defense systems already in successful employ aboard the D647 Morsky-Orol Cruisers. These systems included a dozen Crotale EDIR systems, eighteen Simbad short-range SAMs, four Modele 69 CADAM 100 mm guns, several forms of air-sentry radar, and a mix of SAGAIE and DAGAIE missile decoys.
Detection Systems
The Levantian was equipped with most standard detection systems seeing service onboard other Grestonian vessels. Almost exclusively of French design, these included the DRBV 51B surface sentry radar, DRBV 26A air sentry radar, DRBC 32D targeting radar, DRBN 34 navigation radar, ETBF DSBV 62C sonar, and Syva torpedo alert system. In addition to these systems, the Levantian carried it’s own high power air-search Doppler Radar – NDRBV 1 - which gave comprehensive radar coverage in all directions, and was effective at detecting roughly 80% of sea-skimming missiles which often occupied blind spots in other air-search radars onboard.
Communications
The Levantian used the standard SENIT 4 tactical information system and carried aboard an HF/VHF Radio relay and the Syracuse II Satellite Transmission system, all of which facilitated simple and rapid transmission of information throughout the fleet.
Propulsion
The Levantian was outfitted with three 15K Pressurized Water Reactors adopted form those used onboard the Ryan St. Claire Aircraft Carriers in service with the GIN. These reactors incorporated a secondary air-cooling system to help reduce the massive heat signatures given off by these powerplants. With all three reactors running, the Levantian was projected to have a top speed of 32 knots, acceptably fast for a warship of the size, but at least marginally slower than many other surface vessels in Greston employ.

Tecumseh-class Guided Missile Destroyer
Weaponry
This destroyer is packin'. The direct mode of attack comes in two batteries of 250mm railguns, with two guns on each. They have an effective range of fifty miles, and have gone even further when fired with SCRAMjet rounds. The ship uses GPS positioning to determine where to fire over such a distance, and it's up to the crew to press the button.
For closer range (dealing with PT boats and such), the ship has twelve DREAD guns which can easily put a smaller craft out of comission. For anti missile purposes, the DREAD guns can be linked up with a LIDAR array to target incoming enemy missiles, doubling as a CIWS, similar to the R2D2 used on the Nimitz. Another wildcard: The DREADs can be pointed down at the water to create an inpenetrable wall of steel balls for an enemy torpedo to cross, hence reducing the effectiveness of torpedoes.
For long range bombardment, a total of 200 Tomahawk missiles are loaded and can be fired with ease.
For anti air and anti missile, the ship is loaded with eight Nachluft II Ewigkeit batteries. That means a total of 64 missiles can be shot off in a matter of seconds, striking down an enemy air force before it even got close. They can also double as anti missile platforms, rendering those useless. A total of two thousand missiles are stored within the ship in handypacks of four which can be quickly loaded and fired again.
Lastly, the ship comes with four Schifffurcht anti-Capital Ship missiles for dealing with larger ships such as Superdreadnoughts, Aircraft Carriers, and Battleships.
Armor Design
This ship's outer armor is a carbon-carbon compound coating similar to C60 Buckyballs. This doubles as a radar deflector and also resists outside forces (example: enemy torpedo or missile). The primary armor is a tungsten-titanium alloy. Due to the cost of tungsten, it's less than 1%, but it's that 1% that matters.
The total protection value is approximately 1200mm.
The ship is also coated with an amount of anti-cavitation technology to further reduce the threat of torpedoes.
Anti Submarine Warfare
The ship incorporates a radical new technology, designed to combat newer, stealthier submarines, most obstensibly the Raptior. The new sonar system is a towed sonar array. Unlike traditional sonar, which was a single beacon mounted on the hull, this one is thrown overboard the rear of the ship. Instead of a single beacon, this one has many small beacons which send out SONAR signals, much like the lights on a Christmas tree.
This can detect the stealthiest of subs at nearly thirty nautical miles out, and the regular ones as far away as sixty miles. So ends the supremacy of the submarine in warfare.

Nyquist-class Guided Missile Destroyer
Weaponry
The final ship is actually a bit different from the prototype pictured above, which was taken three months ago. The direct fire guns are six 155mm railguns, three on the front and three in the back on a single battery. When fired howitzer-style, they have an effective range of 27 miles. One is mounted on the front, and the other is on the rear.
For long range air defense, the ship employs eight batteries of the Ewigkeit SAMs, for a total of 64 missiles ready to fire at any time. Due to the Ewigkeit's ability to target almost anything, two thousand of the missiles are stored in the ship for use. Guided by RADAR, LIDAR, thermal imaging, and GPS, the missiles are deadly, and the age of naval air supremacy is finally coming to an end.
It also sports six DREAD guns guided by LIDAR to stop anti-shipping missiles, both those that get through the Ewigkeits and those that are sea-skimmers.
Propulsion
This ship uses two nuclear reactors, similar to current Pebblebed ones. It is housed in a specially shielded and armored chamber in the deepest parts of the ship. In an emergency, the reactor can be shut down in as little as 30 seconds simply by removing the control rods from the reactor. They turn four screws, and can move the ship at 38 knots.

Cerberus-class Guided Missle Gunship
Overview
The Cerberus-class Guided Missile Gunship was created when the Imperial Navy asked Irondeck Naval Corporations designers to create a design for a lineship designed to engage other battleships at long range with gun and missile fire. Eight different designs, labelled A-H where set forth and eventually F was chosen because of its high armour value. The first ‘Cerberus’ was laid down in early 2009 and launched in March 09. After sea trials where a blade was thrown (and promptly replaced) she was commissioned by President Jerry Striker on the 1st of May as GMNS Cerberus.
Specifications
The ‘Cerberus’ class is 542m long on the waterline, and 551m long overall. She has a beam of 58m and a draught of 22.3. Empty, she displaces 480,000 tonnes, with Low stores (brown water and ammunition) she displaces 498,000 tonnes, and with Full displacement (full ammo, long range stores and fuel) she displaces 532,000 tonnes. Her effective complement is 4,600 crewmen with a bunk for every four men and a room for every senior officer. Four large mess rooms, a gymn, and a cybercafé give the crew a means to relax when not in combat or on manoeuvres. Space is provided for 40 marines.
Weaponry
The Cerberus’ Main Armament are 12 686mm/62 rifled cannons. Each cannon is 41.91metres long and there are four turrets (A,B,X,Y) each with three cannons. Each turret is equipped with a pair of 40cm optical gunnery rangefinders running at 325 MHz that can scan and effectively engage targets up to 38,250m metres away. Using RADAR guidance from the Mark 94A gunnery directors the cannons can engage targets up to 121,241m away without rocket assist and 644,341m with rocket assist. Each cannon can be elevated from -3 degrees to +45 degrees. Each cannon is provided with 80 shells. Each turret is mounted on a barbette protected by 800mm of HSLA steel and the front face of each turret is protected by a layer of 650mm HSLA steel.
The secondary armament of the Cerberus class is 24 155mm dual purpose cannons, in dual turrets mounted equally port and starboard. These guns can be elavated from -5 degrees to +80 degrees and are used to shoot down missiles and aircraft using specialist airburst rounds. Each turret holds 240 shells in its magazine. The shells range from airburst rounds to armour piercing shells for anti shipping work. They are controlled by the Mark 97B Gun Control.
Furthermore, eight 'Sea Shield' class six-barreled-35mm close-in-weapons-system chainguns are located around the ship. They can track twenty targets at a time at engage at ranges around 1300m. Each gun can kill a pair of missiles before impact. They are controlled by the CPDC RADAR sensor and can shoot at up to 4000 RPM total. Alongside this sixty mounts for quad 40mm cannons are dotted around the ship for further anti air firepower.
Missile firepower is provided in the form of three VLS boxes - 3 96 cell boxes. This provides the 'Invicible' with 288 vertical launch cells capable of handling anti air, anti submarine, and anti shipping missiles. Each cell is 9m deep, and 1 metre long and 1 metre wide. The missiles are controlled by the Mark105A Combined RADAR LADAR InfraRed Missile Director System that can track up to 2,500 different missiles and sixty different ships simultaenously. For short range air defence, twelve Hastings sextuple barrelled short range rolling airframe missiles are fitted around the ship. The Hastings is a fast, manoeuvrable missile that can reach ranges of 30km to hit incoming missiles and aircraft. They can be fired almost instantly at a moments notice as long as a target is available.
Armour
The Cerberus class uses the Mark A Armour Scheme, capable of defeating shell sizes up to and including 600mm and even withstanding the infamous 635mm shell. During tests the Mark B Armour Scheme resisted 11 762mm AP shells to the vertical and 5 762mm AP shells to the horizontal. Protection against subsurface threats is provided in the form of six 'Sea Serpent' anti submarine/torpedo decoys launched from the ship and twelve 533mm CIWS TT. The 'Invincible' is full NBC protected and sealed.
The armour values are as follows:
Horizontal
-725mm HSLA steel
-200mm Titanium/Tungsten layered mix

Overview
The Capricorn-class nuclear attack submarine is a state-of-the-art war machine designed by Irondeck Naval Corporations. It is to be one Greston's newest patrol submarine used in coastal and blue-water operations. The design team was primarily concerned with the stealthiness of the design and it's lethality against other submarines and surface warships.
The submarine is a titanium double-hulled design. The light hull consists of a rubberized anechoic layer over top of a titanium plating. The pressure hull is a thicker layer of titanium backed by 6 inches of noise barrier material. The Alpha class has a few creature comforts such as a digital library and archived videos for viewing while off-duty. The crew works in three shifts with a 2:3 person to bunk ratio. This means that a sailor is on-duty for eight hours and off-duty for sixteen.
Armaments
The Capricorn-class is equipped with six 650mm torpedo tubes and carries twenty 650mm torpedoes, and a pair of 650mm 'Sprint' tube-launched cruise missiles. It was first considered equipping it with 533mm torpedoes, but it was decided that the more powerful 650mm torpedo would provide better offensive capabilities, despite being able to carry less torpedoes if equipped with 533mm ones.
The two 'Sprint' tube-launched cruise missiles are mounted in order to give the submarine a flexible, long range killing arm that can strike both land and sea target. These missiles are capable of using nuclear warheads.
Systems
In order to perform it's designed role, the Capricorn-class is fitted with advanced electronics that allow it to silently and effectively hunt down and kill it's prey.
The 'Mark V' photonics mast is a slightly bigger, non-stealth version of the 'Mark IV' mast. The ''Mark V' is equipped with the RSS-500 Surface Search and Navigational LPI Radar and the 'Mark IV' is shaped stealthy and constructed of RAM. Otherwise, both contain several high-resolution cameras with light-intensification and infrared sensors, an infrared laser rangefinder, an integrated Electronic Support Measures (ESM) array, and various satellite and radio hook-ups in order to hook the sub in with the 'Naval Net'. Also equipped in the sail is a communication buoy that allows the sub to communicate while still staying far below the ocean waves. This information is feed to the control room via fiber optic data lines.
The Capricorn-class comes equipped with many more active and passive sensors such as the RPA-II Hull Mounted Passive/Active Search/Attack Radar, the SPR-VII Passive Ranging Sonar, the 'Anaconda' Tactical Towed Sonar Array, and the Mk.IV Active Sonar Array. These provide a multi-system search capability that allows the submarine to find it's enemies in virtually any condition. The ships also carries countermeasures against torpedoes with the 'Fiddler' Torpedo Countermeasures System.
Propulsion
The Capricorn-class come equipped with the S3L Natural Circulation Reactor rated at 150 MW of power, powering two steam turbines rated at 25,000 horsepower each. The turbines are connected to a single pump-jet propulsor. In the case of an emergency or power loss the submarine also has two auxiliary diesels rated at 500 hp each. All the machine areas of the submarine are lined with an extra 8 inches of noise barriers.

Overview
The Norfolk-Class DDGN is the navy's workhouse. They are the ones at the front of any picket line and are the ones to get first contact. Primarily designed to protect the rest of the fleet from threats such as incoming missiles, aircraft, and submarines, they are equipped with powerful sensors and the best multi-mission armament.
Weapons
The Norfolk-class Destroyer is packed full of weapons able to protect fleets from threats at, above, or below the ocean. The ships weapon systems are divided into three main areas: the missile armament, the gun armament, and the defensive armament.
The ships main weapon system are it's VLS cells; all 408 of them. They are divided up into two 120-cell blocks of 30 x 4 cells each mounted on the outrigger hulls, and two 84 cell blocks of 12 x 7 cells mounted fore of the main guns. The VLS cells are 2 meters in diameter and twelve meters deep and can accommodate up to four Greston-standard size box, .9 x .9 x 11 meters, Anti-Shipping missiles, Anti-Air missiles, Cruise missiles, and VLASROC munitions for a total of 1,632 munitions. This huge armament is what truly gives the Acolyte its multi-mission capability. [It should also be noted that many Norfolks concentrate on single role of munitions, performing AA coverage, ASW duties, or anti-surface warfare.]
The gun armament consists of six 155mm (6.1”) 72 caliber Liquid-Propellant cannons. The Liquid Propellant system was originally designed by Dat' Pizdy Arms Corporation of Soviet Bloc and was pioneered in their Mk. 71 Advanced Naval Cannon but has since been refined by Irondeck Naval Corporations using HAN-based monopropellants. The system can achieve variable velocities, with absolute full power with an kinetic-kill projectile rated at 1.5 km/s at the barrel. To help increase barrel life, the barrel and shells are coated in a dry lubricant that also enhances the seal around the projectile. This lubricant must be reapplied to the barrel after every 200 firings. The cannons have a firing rate of 20 rounds per minuet, a 3 round burst in three seconds. The maximum range for unaided ammunition is around 65 km. This includes illumination, Anti-Air, and HE-CD rounds. A special round developed for the guns though, is the Enhanced Range Munition. The ERM has a range of 200 km and has GPS guidance with a CEP of 5 meters. The anti-air round carries a fragmentation warhead and a dual Radar/IR proximity fuse and is guided initially by data downloaded into the munition from the ships own sensors.
Defensive protection against surface and air threats for the vessel is provided by the Type 7 CIWS. Each Type 7 has 12 missiles and a 35mm gating cannon and uses its own Radar and the ships radar for target designation and initial guidance of the missiles. The missiles themselves travel at a top speed of Mach 8.5 and have a practical range of 20 kilometers. Their 13.5 kg blast fragmentation warheads are guided to their targets by a dual passive-RF seeker and IR homing seeker. This system has been rated effective for hypersonic threats traveling past Mach 7; however the system is only 45% effective from targets traveling past Mach 8.
For protection below the waves from torpedo threats. The Norfolk is equipped with six 'Sea Shield' Torpedo Defense systems, three on each side of the ship. The 'Sea Shield' is based around the 254mm Mark-IX supercav torpedo and is composed of five 254mm torpedo tubes. When a threat is detected, the system automatically sets in a target to the torpedo and then cold launches it out of tubes located just above the waterline. The torpedo then has a passive acoustic seeker that seeks in on the incoming torpedo's signature that was downloaded into the torpedo before it was fired. When the torpedo gets within a sufficient proximity to the target, the 50kg HE warhead detonates, sending out a concussive wave to destroy the torpedo. This system is rated for targets 300 meters from the ship and each tube in the system is automatically reloaded within 10 seconds from an inventory of 10 torpedoes per system (60 total).
Systems
In order to perform its multi mission role, the Norfolk-class is fitted with advanced electronics that allow it to perform each role effectively and fully.
The main method of search and target acquisition for the Norfolk is the dual-band 'Jaeger II' combined sea/air search radar. The Active Electronically Scanned Array radar operates on botht eh x and l-bands of radar and has a low-probability of intercept capability. Designed to track air and ground targets at the same time, it can detect, track, and engage over 850 targets at once at a range in excess of 500 kilometers. It should also be noted that this radar is designed to be used with the 'Naval Net' battle system. The guns are provided with the Mark-VI fire-control radar and the 'Dueler' LADAR/LIDAR/IR/Optical search and track system controlled by the Mark-VII fire-control system. The Mark VII gathers all available data on a target and provide gunners with an optimized fire solution. Navigation is aided by the 'Swinger' Doppler navigation radar.
The ships underwater sensors are the GBS-8 bow-mounted sonar, 'Anaconda' tactical towed sonar array, and the Mk.IV active sonar array/sonar countermeasures system. These three systems, both active and passive, allow the Acolyte to find their submarine prey and launch ASROCs or any other weapon system available to the ship.
The ESD-V is an offensive/defensive electronic warfare suite that consists of jammers, scramblers, decoys, chaft, and early warning sensors. This coupled with the 'Sea Shield' anti-torpedo system and the Type 7 CIWS give the ship substantial protection against missile, torpedo, and naval artillery.
Aviation
The Norfolk has provisions for and hanger space for two medium-sized naval helicopters. It usually is equipped with a ASW helicopter and a Radar picket helicopter to extend the range of it's sensors and to give further lethality to the overall ship. However, this is not to say that cargo helicopters, UAVs, or even a VTOL fighter can not be operated from the ship due to the temperature resistance flightdeck.

Notes
Designed to compliment the Cradock-class of battleship, the Tripoli-class Destroyer provides capabilities superior to those of the Arleigh Burke-class on which the requirement was based. Although physically a larger ship, the Tripoli gives enemies a far smaller radar cross-section thanks to the use of radar absorbant materials and low-radar observability hull geometry, much like her larger sister ship, the Cradock-class. Likewise, her radar systems have been improved to include the same LPI mode as that of the larger vessel. The inclusion also grants it a superior ability to engage low-altitude and low-radar-cross-section targets. Although this capability is intended to be used against sea-skimming anti-ship missiles, there is some thought that its aptitude for targeting objects which grant only small returns could be used to engage stealth aircraft.

To Whom it May Concern,
After much deliberation, Irondeck Naval Corporations has purchased the rights to Blue Craft Aviation. After the merger, the Irondeck Naval Vessels Shipyard now includes an aviation section including aircrafts like the B9 - Coup'd'etat stealth bomber, FP/36 - Tyrrfighter, and the HC9 - Aztec Assualt Helicopter. Once completed, all aviation vehicles shall be put up for sale and business is hoped to go up.

OOC: Apologies for this but I felt the need to enquire about this. I sent a reply to your merge offer, accepting it, but I haven't had a responce off you. Are you still interested in this?
