Before we formed the Allied States of The Chrisman Union, the union was part of a large Empire. However, Civil War at the Empire's capital destroyed it utterly, and the empire split up into many rival states, some intent on uniting the former empire, others intent on dominating it.
However, when we formed the Allied States, the dream of unification was achieved. However, behind closed doors, Col. Farah Anariz, one of our most trusted military advisers, had been gathering arms and resources for a military coup. We immediately exiled Anariz, and captured his accomplices.
Anariz's response: a strike at Teronique, the capital of the Chrisman Union. It was an expertly planned attack, with a sniper team (obviously hired mercenaries) targeting the Address at the Union parliament, where our president was announcing the forming of the Union, and then an Mi-24 attack helicopter sweeping the government district. Almost the entire government, including the president, was killed in the attack.
Therefore, we must find Anariz, and stop him before a stronger attack takes place. Sightings from Teronique saw a Mi-17 troop helicopter, along with the Mi-24, leave Teronique, and former imperial radar stations showed 2 helicopters leave The Union. We think these helicopters contained Anariz, and he has fled to countries in the north.
This is a matter of national, and possibly international security. We must stop him...before he strikes again.
