Hurricane Underwater Yacht

In the aftermath of the Allanean-Izhevskian war, Allanea had received, as spoils of war, 30 Typhoon-class SSBNs. As the Allanean Navy had no need for the outdated Soviet design, they were eventually privatized to Buchanan & Sons, LTD, a yacht company, at the breaking price of merely $150,000 per each of the giant SSBNs.

The company proceeded to renovate the submarines, removing the ICBM launch pads, and preparing the submarines that once were the pride and joy of the Izhevskian Navy for their civilian role – ultra-luxury yachts to compete with surface yachts of the grade of the Pelorus and Eclipse.

Where once the mighty ICBM launchers stood, now rest custom facilities for the owner of the Hurricane. The crew has been reduced as well, as there is now no need for men to operate ICBM s. The torpedo tubes, however, have been retained just in case.

While even the original Typhoon maintained a swimming pool and a sauna for the crew, the Hurricane maintains a separate – and much bigger and luxurious sauna and pool for the owner and his guests, as well as ten royal-grade suites - each with a separate theme.

A new and renovated onboard kitchen is another facility that is available on the Hurricane, designed to be staffed by a chef. After all, if you own a goddamn nuclear submarine, you can afford to pay a chef, right?

Furthermore, the upper level of the submarine is devoted to carrying numerous private vehicles for the enjoyment of the owner – light watercraft, minisubs, and cars, generally, to be disembarked through 4.5 meter "cargo hatches" at the side of the submarine, akin to the cargo hatches originally suggested by the Rubin Design Bureau for their cargo submarine. On te second level from the bottom, a private bowling alley and a mini-gymnasium are installed for the purpose of augmenting the owner's health during long underwater trips. The bottom-most level is freed up for 'hobby rooms' – to store the owner's art collection, hunting rifles, or whatever else he may fancy.

Additionally, while it is not possible to get a helicopter INSIDE the sub for obvious reason, the top of the submarine has been modified as a heli/VTOL landing pad.

Finally, the submarine is equipped with a personal cinema hall/lecture hall, capable of entertaining up to 50 guests, a small laboratory, and a10 gbps satellite Internet connection.

These features make the Hurricane perfect for the enterprising industrialist or national leader.

OOC- Assome dude! Make the price a round 5 billion and i'll buy one the heck of it - i mean it's the ultimate in one-up-man-ship. I mean you buy a Ferai, so your neighbour buy's a boat, so you buy a plane, so he buy's an airline so you buy a nuclear submarine.

Frankin Luxury Cruises would like to purchase all 30 of these submarines at 5.5 Billion each. This would bring a new era in Luxury cruises around the world. However we have some questions and concerns. Is there any system that says that this ship is not armed in the event of war? We ask because a former Ballistic Missile Submarine cruising in a nation's territorial waters might be seen as a threat and result in that sub being sunk. The benifits outway the risk in this case. 165 Billion Dollars will be wired upon confirmation of this order.

Corporate Fax

I would like to purchase on of your fine submarines. However, wish to know, if the following modifications are possible, or if the submarine already has the following. First, can an office be installed, with a waiting room, and a secretaries office, and a filing room? Secondly, if that is possible, I would require 3 dedicated fax lines, and 7 phonelines to the outside world, along with an internal phone system, connecting the office, the secretaries office, a payphone in the waiting room, which I would also like installed, the ships bridge, the torpedo room, the captains quarters, sickbay, and all the other rooms on the ship outside the crews quarters. Now, this storage area you speak of, would it be able to contain, say 10 cars, up to the hight of a hummer, and up to the length of a stretch limo, this is not essential, but at least room for 10 town cars, at the least is. Does the helipad have equipment for refueling the helicopters on board the submarine, as if it does not, it severally limits the distance from land the submarine needs to be to receive guests in such a manner. Can the bowling ally be converted to a ball room, if not, a dance floor installed over the pool would be acceptable, though not preferable. What about the deck? Are their previsions for activities on the deck, like deck chairs for sunbathing, maybe a shuffle board court, things like that. The last thing I wish to know, is if an area can be made into a nursery of types, so that when clients are on board, they children can be, "out of the way", if you understand what I mean, while the men talk business. The price does not matter, my company has been doing quite well lately, netting over 10 billion, in one order alone. I want the Largo I to be the best ship money can buy.

Signed,

All of your modifications available, except that if you want to fit ten cars, they would need to be probably smaller than the average limo. Helicopter refueling is available, but be aware that fuel storage will be limited, this is not an aircraft carrier.
