This is the OOC Thread for The Coming (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=555233). There are many issues that need discussing in there and it seems the opponant doesn't really wish to talk over MSN.

All those participating in the Thread are welcome to use this to discuss the RP.

1st big issue on the table, and I know its strange that I should bring it up since I just entered the thread, is the fact that Hataria aka Steppe Empire doesn't reply properly or timely to any posts that are/seem to his disadvantage and when he does reply he just glosses over things and ignores others. I believe that if he is serious about this RP then he needs to act in a manner fitting that.

However should he not post within an alloted amount of time, which we other members of the RP should set except for the extreme case that something in RL is keeping him from even making a small note, that any replies containing attacks against his possessions and ships become 'real' or go into effect as if he had accepted them, which his silence does indeed do.

I second this motion, considering Bal is still waiting for his singularity missiles to hit, Sith and Chrono are still awaiting damage from thier battles with him, and I am sure now ND, CW and myself will be awaiting the damage results from our attacks.

I am awaiting confirmation of the attack against Alzoc III and the removal of the atmosphere killing off his troops there when the atmosphere was burned off. The mines were opened via remote commands so the air within the faclity would be removed so there was no place to hide.

The water, a by product of burning hydrogen and oxygen, would then freeze due to there being no atmosphere to hold in heat on an already frozen world. I would have added a few more meters of solid ice on the surface. Obviously a good portion of the ice would eventually evaporate and gradually over the centuries form a light envelope of air but that would take way too long.

I normally don't like posting twice in a row but after seeing his last post I could not resist.

Other kills are as follows:
Colonials: 5 Namai-kos, 6 Gansi-porbani, 8 Rin-shi.
ND: 6 Rin-shi, 4 Namai-kos, 4 Gansi-porbani, 4 Mithi-Hagisi.

Looking at that the first thing I thought of is we are reading the statistics from a sports team.

"Good, I won $25 on the Rin-shi again!"

First of all I do appreciate you having casualties. My only question is how did I destroy those vessels when I brought all of my firepower against the Dracul and two world ships. Aside from fighters, how was I able to destroy ships that I was not shooting at. Every missile from those raptors as well as my main batteries are targeting Only the world ships and the Dracul.

Huh? Did you just claim casualties for me? Just asking, because that's usually a no no.

If things are not going to improve, I would like to propose a blanket IGNORE against him. I would like everyone's opinion in this matter.

You should address each of the above and later stated concerns individually so you can clear up any misunderstandings. After doing that you need to post regularly and be more percise in your descriptions instead of a blanket statement.

You have to make the other RPers BELIEVE you want to finish this properly, your above quoted statement does not lend much to the situation because there is nothing behind it as far as credibility. You have from all appearances done nothing to fix anything or had the dignity to respond to those who are obviously concerned.

These are the participants in this war. I will use this to keep a running track of who votes for the IGNORE. When it reaches a majority (5 votes) a Blanket Ignore will be issued and the RP will be over. Please post in this Thread or contact me over MSN if you wish to state your position on this.

I'm gonna abstain. I'm just too confused and distracted by RL (actual video games, good movies, a job, other RPs) right now to make a good decision regarding this one.

I would like to make a suggestion regarding the Ignore that may rise from this or any decision:

1) That the RP itself not be ignored. While it has been executed with poor judgement and even poorer attention to detail and role playing form, that the essence of it need not be wasted.

2) If ignore and my above suggestion is accepted, then these following terms be accepted: that the alien inter-galactic invaders did invade the Galactic Empire and Rebel galaxy. The worlds of Ryloth, Alzoc III, Mustafar, Kal'Shebbol, and Melida/Daan were indeed invaded; but to no success for the invaders. Each world fought off or defeated the invaders down to a single ship. Ryloth was retaken by Coredian forces, Imperial forces took back Alzoc III and defended Mustafar successfully, and that Rebel forces successfully defended Kal'Shaebbol and Melida/Daan. By accepting this we may move on to more...structured rps, by which we may get a more satisfactory outcome for all those involved.

You know, this is getting out of hand! Bal and Chron are showing to be nothing but Sore RPers Who think they are better then all others. Well, this only shows that they are nothing more then Brats who are making up for something they lack.

Yes, because we're the ones not addressing the posts and issues at hand, constantly pulling things out of their asses, and being so arrogant as to truly think he can subjugate an alliance-controlled galaxy single-handedly.

How terribly sore of us to actual want to address the issues in this RP, and to have an opponent who actually knows how to do it properly.

Honestly, you can't blame us for our concerns as here noted when you show yourself to be incapable of playing fair or listening to your peers, the kind of person who runs away from MSN conversations.

Please edit out that FLAMING attack. we are ony trying to get you to resolve issues others have about this RP. Who is truely acting the way you described?

Steepe. Personal attacks against players is not the way to get your point across. Really all everyone is asking for is clarification to your posts, as well as a reply to other sections. Such as Bal's attack against your forces that has yet to be responded to. Or with my ships, and I am grateful that you did post damage, but again, these were forces I was not shooting at.

All we are asking for is clarity and consistancy. I am sure if that happens, although I do not speak for anyone but myself, then the RP could continue without a hitch.

People do have questions and concerns. Try to respect others, address their concerns, and avoid direct insults against the players, and I am sure an amiable solution will be reached.

Unfortunately, it appears to me that Steppe is not willing to participate on anything but the most favourable terms. As such, I don't think that I will be able to interact with him directly, and I can't see any point in anyone else doing so; assuming he doesn't change his behaviour. On the other hand, I rather look forward to Thrash's Ryloth thread.

You all know me. You all know that I'm the most forgiving of all people on NS. That I give people second, third, even fourth chances when everyone else gives up on the likes of Hataria. But even I have limits. Even I have a patience pool that can run out. With the utmost reluctance, I have decided that Hataria, Steppe Empire and all related puppet nations will be henceforth ignored.

I will accept Thrashia's plan that all of his empire has been crushed by our combined forces and continue on from there.

Like I said above, he's clearly unwilling to engage in any RP that doesn't have him duffing up two fairly hefty alliances at once. I would sympathise, but it's not as if he's being ganged up on here, or is facing any serious immediate risk of national destruction - there's still a hundred and ten ways he could RP a withdrawl or failure without having any long term difficulties OOC. Consequently, I'm ignoring him also. Thrashia's suggestion sounds worth doing.

I too vote to ignore this. We've all been very patient, and this farce I feel has gone on long enough.

Updated list shows that 6 out of 9 players vote to impose an IGNORE upon this and one chooses to remain out of the voting.

The Majority has decided to end this Thread and the IC Thread with an IGNORE.

The events also have been agreed upon to follow the suggestion Thrashia posted.

Thank you, that's quite a privilege; and one I will use to the fullest. I sincerely hope that you will not be kicked off these forums for all the flaming and insulting you've produced, though that decision is not mine. All I can hope is that you learn something from this.

I am sorry that we could not come to an amiable agreement. Truly I do not wish you off NS, nor do I desire to see you ruined. I hope that your nation will be successful, and that your stories will be very productive. I just hope that in the future, you can work out inconsistancies and other problems with people in a way that will produce a better result.

You forgot Coreworlds and The Ctan, they both also posted their desire for an IGNORE. As long as you are at it you might want to include everyone that did not vote for you. New Dornalia abstained from voting so he did not put his support behind anyone. Kaldari did not vote so they also didn't vote for you. Neither did Unified Sith.

The point I am making is if you are going to single out the ones that only voted to IGNORE the RP then you have to include everyone involved to be fair. Doing anything else would not be honest. Some might decide it to be a form of Trolling for negative responses.
