Amfi Kingdom International Petroleum Development & Investment Invitational
The Amfi Kingdom has long been an exporter of oil. For thirty years, our nation has helped quench the worlds’ thirst for oil; despite civil war and economic hardships. The Kingdom has never ceased its drilling operations. However, no matter the scale of our operations or the determination of our laborers, our capacity to produce oil will never reach its potential without the aid of foreign investors. The honorable High Lord Ulithian is extending an invitation to the international community to discuss the development of the Amfi Kingdom’s oil drilling industry. This invitational is open to any interested nations, and will take place at the International Relations Building in Sayef City four weeks from now. We hope to cover several discussion items at the Invitational;
Development of Untapped Reserves in Northern Amfi
Several large oil deposits have yet to be tapped; Will the international community help make use of these reserves?
Establish of a Refining Industry
Oil refining is a non existent industry in Amfi. WE will discuss the possibilities of foreign aid to support an Amfi controlled industry, or foreign owned facilities.
Overhaul of Oil Industry Support Structure
Amfi’s oil pipe lines and rail system is aging. Transporting crude out of country is becoming increasingly difficult, and it would be impossible to support the addition of refineries as the system currently exists. How can this be addressed?
Foreign Corporate Entities, National and Private
Allowing foreign companies to set up facilities in Amfi could supplement our own drilling efforts. How will the Amfi Kingdom’s sovereignty be respected? What considerations must be made for foreign workers?
International Sales
The Oil industry is very profitable. Clearly, any plans must ensure that our nation rightly profits from our resources. Of course, considerations must also be made for countries who put a great deal of effort into building Amfian infrastructure. Investment in our great nation should be rewarded. How?
The Invitational will last four days. Chief Diplomat Liska will preside over dialogues. Guest accommodations will be provided in the Grand Heights Hotel, a five star facility which will be protected by Amfian Special Forces. Transportation will be provided by the Amfi Military.
